    8. Double Dozen Special

We decided to stop and get some food on a Sunday night before driving back to the Central Valley . The portions were huge and everything was cooked & seasoned well . The person who served us ( I'm assuming was the owner ) was very friendly and helpful . The food came out hella quick & came out hot . Definitely will try again when we are in the area .

It's my first time here, and I guess this place has been here a long time, so it must be good right?, And yes I agree it is good, the portions are big and the original buffalo sauce is a little spicy for me but it's very good. I ordered the large salad and it was huge. The burgers are also huge, the prices are a little high, But it's Marin County so it's going to be high. It's kind of a small spot there's a few tables near the register and then there's a few tables on the other side.

Just as yummy as years ago. We got the double dozen wings the menu special. The wings had lots of flavor and came with loads of yummy chips and side of celery and carrots. The veggies were super fresh! Definitely great price and they were super fast too. Can't wait to come back for more.

Original style (OG style), with fries and ranch of course.

Mannnnnn what can I say about this place! I've been coming to this location and siting in the exact same spot since I was 16. 15 years later I'm still coming. This place has a customer for life. The wings are so good! Way better than any BWW or Wingstop if you go with the original spicy. You pair this with their thick fries, Coca Cola and it's amazing. Plus, the owner of this place is such a great guy. Super friendly man and we always talk here and there which adds points on my list. I also love their jalapeño poppers with cream cheese . You'll probably see me eating here alone once every two weeks since it's good. I'm all about supporting local business especially in my hometown of San Rafael. Cheers and enjoy.

Best wings in the north bay! Large super crispy wings in a variety of sauce options.

4 out of 4. Basically I put 3 points for the food, Food was not absolutely perfect, the taste of Parmesan Garlic was off . The other things like service and the prices were reasonable. The variety of toppings were the same as other places.

    Fish and Chips

I wanted to like this place but was really disappointed. The Fish is oily and not very flavorful. Chips were clearly reheated and tasted like day old fries. Not worth the $30 we paid.

I ordered boneless wings after seeing pictures of tenders that were breaded and looked good. This is what I got. Drenched in sauce, grilled of some sort and dry as a bone. Gross.

Mediocre at best. The wings were flavorful but overlooked. It was like eating chicken wing jerky. The fries were hand cut and good. But nothing spectacular. At least at wing stop the wings are cooked properly.

I ate here on March 7th, 2022. The presentation may be lackluster but the food and price are great! Had 8 buffalo tenders with chips. The chicken was delicious, cooked thoroughly and evenly but not dry at all. Also the chips were not regular chips but thick and crispy. Reminded me of plantain chips. I'd love to come here and try out more items from their menu.

The service is excellent; I placed a Takeout order and my orders were ready early. They were hot and freshly cooked and the woman behind the counter was very friendly and courteous. I ordered 26 Extra Spicy Buffalo Wings, 10 Garlic Parmesan Wings, Fish Combo, one Strawberry Cheesecake and a Chocolate Mousse Cake. They ALL were tasty and delicious!!! The wings were saucy and savoury just how I like it! The only downside? While taste-wise, the wings were great, texture-wise they were not too fantastic. Some of the chicken pieces were a little hard to bite into that it hurt my teeth and for awhile I had to pause from eating/chewing. It seemed that either some pieces were over-cooked or the chicken was old/from the previous day and just re-heated before tossed into the sauce.

I honestly didn't realize how much I'd enjoy playing pinball until coming here--there aren't many spots that have that kind of unique feature anymore, and it really added to the experience. I went for a Yelp Elite event, and it was great. The owner was there and super welcoming, and his staff were genuinely nice and attentive. We were given bracelets that gave us access to two drinks, which was a fun self-pour experience. That said, it would've been helpful to get a quick tip on pouring (like tilting your glass) beforehand--foam can sneak up on you fast , especially with so many people around. Because it was busy, we were also given a card that allowed unlimited access to the games, which was awesome and made the night even better. I definitely enjoyed my time here. The owner also mentioned that you can rent individual tables or even the whole venue for events, which is something I'd absolutely consider in the future. I'll definitely be back.

Tye, our server, was friendly and kind and on top of refilling waters, offering drink suggestions, and grabbing to-go boxes before we even asked for them! I had the chicken parmigiana, which was light and flavorful, and the steamed spinach that went with it was delicious (and I HATE cooked spinach, but gave it a try and actually enjoyed it for the first time ever!) The andouille sausage that was served with the pesto risotto was smoked and you could really taste it, and the spicyness was just perfect. The pesto sauce was heavy on the pine nuts in the best way. It wasn't oily or heavy on the basil or garlic like a lot of pesto sauces can be, and that left the risotto so light and almost citrusy. My cousin had the harvest garden dish, and they were stunned by how delicious it was. As a vegetarian, they are particular about their veggies, but everything was 'perfectly cooked'. The food is often sold out by the time I come but I finally got to taste Lou's and I'm blown away. I got: 1. Fried Chicken Spicy: Sorry I don't know the actual names of what I ordered but it was with the orange sauce on top of katsu like fried chicken. This was a bit spicy but not bad at all and this is coming from a wimp who can barely tolerate siracha. The chicken is so crunchy and juicy. I'd compare the sauce to almost like an indian curry like (but not really). 2. Fried Chicken Green sauce: This sauce tasted more like carribean or coconut-y style. Both this and the spicy one was delicious but I actually liked this one more. I loved the coconut/creamy flavor of the sauce and it went so well with the freshly fried chicken. Overall, hands down the best asian food in Marin. There isn't even a question or comparison. The portions are huge, the flavors are fresh and innovative. The service is also great.
