    Vietnamese Chicken Salad
    Kyra K.

Hanging out with my friends who live in Marin, they recommended we all take our pups here for a dog-friendly no-frills meal. I've been to Gott's at the Ferry Building, but this was my first time trying their other locations. Overall, good food and service, nothing particularly memorable. The restaurant is unassumingly huge! It is extremely open and spacious with plenty of seating for all party sizes plus a bar. The menu is extensive and displayed on giant screens. You order at the front with the workers and wait for your buzzer to go off. There's a section for ordering and picking up food, and all condiments and utensils are self-serve throughout the restaurant. If you want their soft serve, they have a tablet you can order and pay at. We chose to sit outside with our pups and there was plenty of spacious seating in the plaza. My friend recommended the Vietnamese Chicken Salad. I love salads and am a sucker for a chicken one so I opted for that. No complaints, tastes as listed! The salad was fresh, filling, and well-balanced. It was a giant portion and I could only eat half. My friends enjoyed their meals and everything they ordered looked good! If you live in this part of Marin, Gott's Roadside is a great option for a fast, casual, and decent meal. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it but it's a nice spot in Bon Air. Parking is plentiful in the shopping plaza.

Double Cheeseburger, brussel sprouts, fries and rings and some dummy of a sister ordered a salad

This particular Gott's is overrated in my opinion and if this is any indication of a Gott's then this will be a one and done. The double cheeseburger was a ho hum cheeseburger, nothing special. The fries and onion rings were pretty good, the rings were not real crunchy so I would order them again. Whoever heard of a burger joint that serves brussel sprouts, only in marin, they were good but I like brussel sprouts that aren't overly roasted, it's as if it was left in the oven forever. I don't know what my dear sister was thinking, but who the hell orders a salad at a burger joint, needless to say, that was the only item doggy bagged home. Silly sis.

Good menu, friendly service and good food. Big restaurant!!!! Outside seating too. They have soft serve ice cream too.

I like it here because it's not just burgers. They have a few sandwiches, a few salads, ahi tacos, and burgers. Their fries are great. We usually get the ahi tacos. They are definitely not Mexican tacos. They're closer to an Asian taco with a soy flavor and green onion. The service is pretty quick. Order ahead if you're really hungry and it's a weekend.

Dry bun, dry unseasoned burger patty, overcook crunchy fries, dill heavy ranch. Meaning huge chunks of it. More dill than sauce.

I have only ever been to the Chase Center location in San Francisco, and every time I've gone there the food has been on point. The bun is moist and not dry, the fries are crispy, and the burger patty is seasoned and not dry. This experience at this location was the complete opposite. I ordered a gluten-free turkey burger and asked them to put ALLERGY in the notes. When I went to pick up my order, it was on a regular bun. I told them to remake it. The manager looked at the receipt, apologized, and remade it. That added another 10 minutes, and it took 30 minutes total just to get one burger. When I took a bite, the gluten-free bun was extremely dry. I removed the bun and ate the patty only...which was also dry and unseasoned. The fries were wrong too, they were overcooked and too crispy. The ranch was heavy on dill to the point it was unpleasant. Huge chunks of dill. More dill than ranch sauce. The manager gave me a gift card, which was fine. But here's where it took a turn: I have been throwing up and in the bathroom since last night and still today. At this point, I'm asking myself questions I shouldn't have to ask after eating somewhere...was my food handled safely? Did my patty get dropped on the floor? I will not be using the gift card at this location. I will never return to this location. I appreciate the gift card. I do not appreciate the food poisoning.

On a Saturday evening in mid May, my family came here for dinner. It was hard to find parking at 5:40pm so we circled around the plaza. It's located next to Susie cupcakes and the line was long to order. There was so many little kids eating with their families. Lucky my brother found a table in the corner. The ambiance is nice of people watching and staff cleaning tables. We ordered at the cashier and got Texas avocado burger and shared fries. There are different sauces at the sauce counter. My burger tastes good like a homemade burger. The fries are nice and crispy, . No room for ice cream cone. I read it's coming to LA soon.

Gluten free beer from BevMo to go with our gluten free gotts burgers

Yes, it's going to be expensive. Especially if you are comparing it to fast food or chains. When you want quality food, expect this. Too many reviews complain about this. I don't get it. I don't need to get it. Onward. When you are looking for a delicious burger with sides, gotts has it! My gluten free burger was delicious. My husband bought my favorite gluten free beer from BevMo so I could recreate my favorite: Burger and a beer. Gotts was always a stop on our way to wine country when we started on the Napa side before we went over the hill to the Sonoma side for wine pickups and dinner. Delicious meal, reasonably priced, gluten free joy in my heart.

Always love going to Gott's, the vibes at the Marin location are always excellent too! They have tons of outdoor seating with heaters and fire pits so on a nice day/evening that's definitely the place to sit. We had some trouble finding a wine we liked and the staff were really helpful and guided us through all their offerings. The food is always amazing as well!

We've driven by this restaurant several times, and it is always packed! When we walked in, I was shocked at how large the establishment was and didn't realize they had a bar inside. My BF and I reached ordered a burger and split some garlic fries. The burgers and fries were great. I wish I could give half stars, because my true rating would be 2.5. & the reason for the lower review, is because of our second transaction. I wanted to try their ice cream, as almost everyone at the establishment was eating a cone, cup, or sundae. I typically don't buy ice cream out, since I can just get it at the store and eat a pint at home. But I placed my order and walked over to the pickup line. This couldn't take more than 5 minutes in my mind. I handed my ticket to the manager, and he walked in the back and I watched him just set the ticket down. As soon as I saw this, I knew he was going to forget about me. He of course then walked away and was preoccupied in conversation with the bartender. Another young kid (you could tell he was new) asked me if I was waiting for something (again - no line, 2 to-go orders waiting). I explained to him I was waiting for an ice cream. He was confused, because tickets are usually handed to someone and then it is their responsibility to get the ice cream (the manager). Another woman walked up and asked the same question - I repeated myself. & by this time the young man walked back out and asked - "did you give your ticket to someone?" I told him who I gave it to, and the manager walked over and started getting really rude with the young man. Saying he lost it and he asked him to do it. AGAIN - I will repeat, I watched this whole scenario with my BF and two people standing next to me - we all shook our heads in disagreement and I said, "no - you didn't. You walked to the back and just placed my ticket down without saying anything to anyone." He pulled the young man to the back and spoke with him. He came out scared and embarrassed and asked what I ordered. I told him, and unfortunately was given the wrong item. I couldn't see who actually made it since they were both around the corner. I usually wouldn't care, but for $6, I wanted the right ice cream. I turned around and returned the ice cream to him, and he immediately made the right one and we left. I don't like watching managers blame other people for their mistakes. It's one thing if the young employee took my ticket and forgot it, but he didn't. The manager took my ticket and walked away. The food was good, but this situation made me really uncomfortable. Even other customers were shocked at the rudeness of the manager. I heard someone say "he's just a kid." Can't say I'll be back. But this was one situation & their food is tasty. There are just other burger joints around I would prefer to support who treat their staff like family.

The burgers are big, the sides are generous, and everything we tried was genuinely tasty. We split a burger and fries between two people and both left completely satisfied. That's a testament to both the portion sizes and the quality. You're getting real value here. The menu has a wide variety of burger options, and they've put some thought into the kids' menu. They also do catering for birthdays with sliders and different options, which is a nice touch for families. The space itself is versatile. There's a great bar area with TVs if you want to catch a game, but also plenty of seating for more intimate meals or larger groups. It's very family-friendly without feeling like a kid-only zone. The staff was attentive throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. Parking is a breeze since it's right on the outside of the mall. That alone makes it more appealing than a lot of other options in the area. There are plenty of burger places out there, but as far as sit-down restaurants go, Roam is one to watch. It's a great addition to the mall and the Corte Madera dining scene. We'll definitely be back, and I'd recommend giving it a shot if you're looking for a reliable meal that won't disappoint.

I honestly didn't realize how much I'd enjoy playing pinball until coming here--there aren't many spots that have that kind of unique feature anymore, and it really added to the experience. I went for a Yelp Elite event, and it was great. The owner was there and super welcoming, and his staff were genuinely nice and attentive. We were given bracelets that gave us access to two drinks, which was a fun self-pour experience. That said, it would've been helpful to get a quick tip on pouring (like tilting your glass) beforehand--foam can sneak up on you fast , especially with so many people around. Because it was busy, we were also given a card that allowed unlimited access to the games, which was awesome and made the night even better. I definitely enjoyed my time here. The owner also mentioned that you can rent individual tables or even the whole venue for events, which is something I'd absolutely consider in the future. I'll definitely be back.

And if you like beer they have a great selection there as well. I recommend the altered state - but at 9% only one! We also love the vibe: you can come casual or polish up! High ceilings, wise lighting, strategic booth walls and level changes make the place seem larger than it is, yet cozy at the same time. My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Matt today. Unfortunately the food doesn't match by any stretch. I think it's a Marin problem, maybe the standards are lower, but there are just not many good restaurants. It's basically California style pub food, burgers, a few fish dishes. Etc. Everything we ordered as a large table was ok at best. The Reuben was served sloppily with the bread soaked through so it really was just mush. The wings were overfried so the meat on the chicken was tough. The sweet potato fries tasted good but the fryer temp must be low so they soaked up grease and we're mushy instead of crispy. The batter in the fish and chips was thick, doughy and flavorless and one piece was not crispy while the other two were. The slaw was boring and had no flavor as well. Fried chicken was super greasy. Mashed potatoes were so it overly whipped they were smooth like ice cream though they at least had flavor and the gravy was almost beef flavored even though it was a side for the fried chicken. The veggie side for the sole, tasted mushy like it was microwaved to reheat it because it was likely fired to early or worse made ahead then slopped in the plate after reheating. Man, I don't know where these other reviews come from that gave it a five, either their taste buds have retired or they were only reviewing the setting. The service was good and the waitstaff were very nice. If it weren't for the perfect weather this would have been a bomb. Maybe their burgers are good??? I hesitate to go back to find out given it was so Meh. Oh well. They did make a nice Arnold Palmer.

A few folks outside some inside. This made ordering quick and easy, and the food was prepared quickly; a benefit for us, perhaps not for the business. The place is still attractive and clean, with plenty of tables outside and inside. I did not that, as my last visit, there is no shade really provided for the outside seating, save ONE small umbrella. Ugh - not sure what the issue is, and being it was a sunny day, we opted to sit inside as much as the patio called to us. The inside is nice, too, though, and there is easy access to the soda fountain machine and condiments. There are still self-ordering kiosks, large digital menus, and of course, you can also order through the app (even if standing inside!) or at the counter. We ordered a bit of each - side, main, and dessert! There was a portabella "'Shroom" burger (with a crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun), cheese fries, a mac 'n' cheese, chicken bites, and a Key lime shake, a special offering! Damn the calories, full taste ahead! The food was indeed prepared quickly and served hot. The Shroom burger was my favorite last time, and for taste and texture this time was also delicious and good. The cheeses inside were melty-gooey, and the mushroom crispy. It was, though, much smaller than I remember - it fit within my hand! A con, against the price, for what is a nice option for veggies or anyone wanting a change in their burger. The chicken bites were smaller than expected in size, more like nuggets, but tasty. The mac 'n' cheese was also tasty, but also a bit small for the price. The fries are always good, and in this case, you need to dig to the bottom early on to scrape some of the melted cheese that dripped down back onto the fries. Very yummy. But the best part was the Key lime shake, a flavor I just love (cheesecake is my favorite iteration of this flavor) but this milkshake satisfied me greatly. A little pricier than their everyday shakes, but how often so you find a unique flavor like this! A win! Overall, a solid 4-stars for food flavor and quality, and also for ambience and environment. Price wise, it was about $40 for two of us, so not a great bargain, but given the economy today I have the same financial shock at other places as well. Still, a nice treat and we left happy.
