I noticed the reviews for this spot were quite low but still wanted to give it a fair shot. Unfortunately, this might be one of the worst BBQ spots I've been to. The ribs were extremely small, the brisket was very fatty, and the mac and cheese was watery. The cornbread also tasted like it was a day old and wasn't even warm. To make matters worse, my stomach started hurting almost immediately after eating. Definitely won't be returning.

This is one of the best bbq spots in Marin. Their brisket is amazing and it falls apart and melts in your mouth. That is my go to meat to get. The Mac & chese is also good too. It is a nice little spot where you can sit at the bar, they have tables inside and outdoor seating. The waiters and staff are friendly and you can order from kiosk or online. Can't forget about their ribs, very tasty. They got several different bbq sauces, but I like the flavor of their meat and use sauce if I feel the need for it.

Third time for take out ! Baby back ribs and eastern Carolina barbecue sauce! This place doesn't get more South Carolina on the pallet than probably anywhere in the north Bay! Friendly staff we've got games on the TV so you can park your hubby while you do your holiday shopping it Towncenter nice selection of beer too! And I think the prices are quite fair for the quality of this smoke and sauce!

Stopped by Pig in a Pickle for a quick BBQ fix and was really impressed. The pulled pork sandwich was tender and packed with flavor, and the 1/4 rack of baby back ribs was juicy and fell right off the bone. Sides didn't disappoint--ranch-style beans were hearty, and the cornbread was warm, moist, and just the right amount of sweet. Ended on a high note with the rich and silky butterscotch pudding. Big shoutout to the super friendly staff --they made the whole experience feel extra welcoming. And the housemade sauces are a major win. Loved the self-serve urns so you can sample as much as you want or take some to go. Definitely planning to come back and try more!

It's interesting that the first time I came over I wasn't impressed but the second I came by I kinda enjoyed the food here. The place is in a mall so parking shouldn't be difficult. It's easy to make a reservation online but there is probably not a need to as I havent found it difficult to get seating. Most of the people ordered to go so there is usually some seating available. The seating at the patio seems to be more popular but because the location can get really hot I prefer it indoors. The people working here are usually really young and they do try their best and I'm impressed that they cleaned up without feeling grossed out by the leftover food. I really enjoyed the ribs and the sauces are great. The sausages are not bad either but I think pork ribs are the best chicken on the menu. It can be a little dry without the sauce but that's why the sauces are available. Although they charge for sauces when you order to go but you can ask for sauce when you take leftovers after dining in. I like the vibe of the restaurant even though it doesn't seem like a good fit for the decor of the overall shopping center. Overall I'd say I've had better BBQ but in the Bay Area this is good enough if you miss BBQ.

Walt reporting for Walt's Adventures and I find myself in Corde Madera, California. Pig In A Pickle is a BBQ restaurant. It's one of many eateries gathered together at the Corde Madera Town Center. The eatery has both indoor and outdoor dining. The outside dining option does have coverage depending on where one sits. We were encouraged to order via a QR code. Upon completion and not more than 5 minutes later, we had our drinks. I dare say that our meals arrived no more than a lapse of 10 more minutes. The food we found to be outstanding... it matched their presentations. We chose a group selection so that our group could share. Our only reservation is that the restaurant depends on the restrooms from the Town Center to serve their patrons. If you're looking for a great BBQ and gathering place for family and friends, then look no further than Conde Madera.

Love it on a nice 90 degree evening. Meats are already cooked so service is extremely fast. Sauces are amazing. I always get a little extra mustard and spicy sauce with any leftovers so that I can use them for sandwiches at home or as a dip for chips while watching football at home. Piiiiiig in a Pickle (must say it like Larry Krueger) for all you 49er fans. The brisket is just like Texas BBQ..

Jessica was great! She talked to me after my meal to see how I liked everything -- I've got to say the Brisket is really really good. I got more of the fat on my brisket! Honestly one of the best briskets I've tasted -- I also enjoyed the coleslaw and pickle! I came for lunch time and the ambience felt good inside with the wooden bbq theme they have going. It wasn't busy and service was fast. I'm going back to try more of the brisket!

This restaurant turns on the charm and welcomes you from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. This is a rare breed of restaurant that welcomes you with a smile, lets you know how their QR code menu works, food comes out quickly and it's hot and the presentation is very aesthetically pleasing as well. The bartender and waiter both check on you multiple times and let you know there's free refills on the soda and to just give the bartender a waive to let him know. Food was great - BBQ chicken 1/4, 3 baby back ribs, cornbread, and the Mac and cheese. And when you depart - they give a nice goodbye and thank you! Color me impressed!

Worker being extremely rude refused to share his name.

My sister ordered a kids brisket for her 1 1/2 year old and they gave us a peace that was 70% fat. We nicely explained that to the worker and he was very rude and refused to give us another small less fatty piece, mind you we're ordering for a toddler not like he's eating much. This is a cute mall where people bring their kids and no worker should be treating their customers like him. Hope to hear from management as this behavior is unacceptable and refusing to share your name when calmly and respectfully asked is crazy!!!

Absolutely the best bbq North of the Golden Gate and BEST customer service in ALL of California. Brisket AND sandwhich are on POINT! Pared with a half sour barrel pickle And for under $20 BEFORE TIP & $30 after. Its definitely worth it. I will be getting pulled pork next time

Fast service (QR code ordering at tables or staff service at bar) and a modern/industrial ambiance. The waitress told us the pulled pork, the brisket , and the macaroni and cheese were the best sellers. The macaroni and cheese (3.5/5stars) was above average for a run of the mill barbecue shop, but it was a little bit on the overcooked side, and didn't taste much different to me than a box of white cheddar Mac from a grocery store. I thought the brisket was good (4/5 stars for my husband, he requested & loves wet cut brisket) but I was disappointed by the available sauces (about four bottles of hot sauce, and three flavors of runny barbecue sauce - regular, spicy, and mustard).

It's inside a mall, and I did not see any directories to point the way. Once we found it and sat down, I noticed the sign telling us to scan the QR code on the table to order. Honestly, that almost sent me right back out the door. I wanted an actual menu, not a tiny phone screen with lots of scrolling and submenus, especially since I had questions about the food. The atmosphere felt a bit impersonal at first, mostly because of the mall setting and the QR-code ordering system, but the friendly staff helped make it feel much more comfortable once we got settled. The two people working the front were both very pleasant, answered my questions, and made the whole experience feel much more welcoming. They had a decent IPA selection and a variety of bar foods (pizza, wings, appetizers). We ordered the arancini, fried cauliflower, and a pizza. The fried cauliflower was the surprise hit for me, especially with the garlic aioli. The arancini and pizza were also very good. The QR ordering setup still feels more frustrating than inviting, but the friendly service and surprisingly good food turned things around. In the end, I left glad that I stayed.

Penne for Your Thoughts…read more Cal-Italian restaurant in the quaint town of Larkspur that's celebrating its twentieth anniversary this year. Picco blends the best of California with locally sourced and fresh produce with classic and modern takes on Italian dining. They are also Michelin recognized, as they've been Bib Gourmand winners ('21-23) in the past, and are currently "Recommended." The Good: * Reservations via OpenTable * Free street and City-owned lots available but there are time limitations, so check the signage. * They also run a pizzeria (Pizzeria Picco) literally right next door if you'd rather have a pie than pasta. * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * Waitstaff was fantastic and friendly. * Also has a bar if you just want to come in for a drink or three. * Local brews on tap, as well as a full oeuvre of alcoholic beverages. * They're known for their changing seasonal risotto, and after one bite, it was easy to see why! It was simply fantastic, as the rice was cooked perfectly and the fresh spring flavors in ours shone. * Carissa loved her King Salmon and veggies, as the fish was cooked perfectly. I ordered a daily special with house-made pappardelle noodles and smoked beef short ribs, and while it looked like a hot mess, it was fantastic. The noodles were thick and held up well to the assertive smoke and flavor of the beef--just a perfect dish in my opinion.. The Meh: * The Polenta-Crusted Artichoke Hearts appetizer was just OK. I liked the crunch and how they tried to present them as chicken wings, but they ate a little dry and the coating needed more seasoning. Fortunately, their concomitant aioli was able to save the day. The Ugly: * Not the biggest restaurant, and with the brick walls, it can get raucous in there fairly easily, especially if a large post-wedding party shows up to the bar to get sauced. Conclusion: Fantastic spot for a date night or any other occasion with great ambiance, service, and, most importantly, food. Highly recommended.

The fries were not really British style of chips but a signature style for the restaurant which was very nice. The fish was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. The side of slaw was light, refreshing, and delicious on a bed of lettuce. Exactly what you'd want with the heavier fried fish. There are a few things that hold this place back and may ultimately seal its fate in closure. They have nothing to do with the food or service which was very good as noted above. This review if 5 yelp stars for good reason. But, if Bazille wants to survive and thrive it may want to consider some modifications in concert with the Nordstrom store itself. This isn't really about the prices. They were not out of line for local dining of similar far. However, in a department store setting you want the dining experience to be a loss leader / lead magnet to get shoppers in and keep them longer. And, inside there should be SOME link to the store. Why did no one offer to help me find the purse my wife was shopping for that day? Why was there not a thank you coupon for dining good only for this visit (kind of like parking validation but for shopping). We were not offered a coffee or tea. For the fee this would cost nearly nothing an make the upscale Nordstrom experience, which we LOVE, all the better. The franchise is leaving a lot off the table here and there's no reason economically. Why are the sales people on the floor not offering a free desert to try out the restaurant? I think you get my point by now. The experience is disconnected from the Nordstrom experience. Much more can be done. The experience, and it is meant to be an experience like the Nordstrom experience. It does fall a little short there. Look at Restoration Hardware's efforts. You literally sit in their furniture which you could purchase on the spot if you wanted; for example. You dine on their dishes... etc. Back to the prices. I could go to any restaurant nearby for similar prices and fare. So, subsidizing with accoutrements or just money would fill the seats. The place is nice. The staff is nice. It's just bolted on the side as an after thought and that may be its undoing over time. That would be a shame because the intent is clearly something more.

A bit overpriced as expected, the grilled cheese, cup of tomato soup, and cookie treat didn't…read moredisappoint though when I stopped in to this little cafe after a meeting nearby last week. The staff were nice and helpful in choosing the menu items that spoke to me that day. The dining vibe though - takeout as part of one's week day routine or to enjoy at an outside table. Short, concise, semisweet.
