I've always thought of Farmshop as a reliably great spot -- and after our most recent visit, I'm glad to say it still hits. Their wood-fired pizzas (especially if cooked crispy style) remain a highlight. The pepperoni version is my go-to: nicely charred crust, good balance of sauce and cheese, and enough crunch that every bite feels satisfying. Their Avocado hummus served with crudités (and lavash) also stands out -- it's something special, rich and creamy yet fresh, a perfect starter or light share if you're not overly hungry. Though the staff this time was "adequate" -- friendly enough but not especially memorable -- the food itself made the meal worthwhile. The kitchen still knows what it's doing, and there's a clear consistency to quality that keeps pulling me back, even after a period of visiting less often. If you're in Larkspur or Marin, it's a reliable pick for a casual meal that always delivers.

The food is still great but the people working there are less attentive than ever. From Check in and server etc. that part is frustrating to look acrosss the room of workers and no one is looking to see if someone needs something. Took a while. Side note- we brought our daughter here for a momentous occasion and had it in the notes at booking. They not only didn't give us an indoor table it was just missed. I asked at the end if they had Birthday note in their reservation- she said NO. So something is wrong with Reservation app and when you come in and what they see. Definitely call in if an important milestone. *Missing our daughters' 21st birthday celebration meal is quite the faux pas at "their favorite restaurant"! (They used to ask are we celebrating something special but also booking notes also helped them-no so anymore) Ambiance is chill as usual and pleasant - for not getting our requested seat "inside" -which was empty, we were "inside at the outside" which the seating guy thought fit the bill for not having a seat inside. I say it is just kinda how the times are- a disconnection- even at your favorite eatery.

Everything we ate was delicious. We shared multiple items for lunch because so many of the offerings sounded so good. We had the Caramelized Meyer Lemon Pizza, Avocado Hummus, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Zarate Farms Winter Chicories, Brioche French Toast, and Vanilla Meringue Creamsicle. Everything was very good, but I especially enjoyed the Caramelized Meyer Lemon Pizza and the Vanilla Meringue Creamsicle. If you like pineapple on your pizza, you'll like the slightly less sweet Meyer Lemon Pizza. The flavor and multiple textures of the Meringue Creamsicle was incredible. Although it was a busy Saturday lunch time, service was prompt and welcoming at this casual eatery. The noise level was medium-high but nothing really that impacted conversations.

Service is efficient although somewhat somber. Ambiance is great we sat in front by the front door so the noise wasn't a problem as it can be sitting inside The food was good - I didn't like either pizza - the lemon I feel overpowers the pizza and the pepperoni I'm just not fond of little cups of oil - but the avocado hummus and the fritters never disappoint. The potatoes were good.

Excellent service and delicious food. My friend and I enjoyed our dinner here and would happily come back. My tomato salad was so fresh, I really appreciated how many vegetarian options there were on the menu. Had a great time overall and hope to try the lemon pizza next time!

Visited this place for brunch with friends. We didn't make any reservations and were able to get seats, but I recommend making a reservation because the restaurant got very busy later on. So, the food was delicious; everything we tried was amazing. Service was slow, but it was compensated for by the attentive service and good atmosphere, along with the wonderful food.

It had been awhile since we ate at Farmshop. (Covid keeping me from my usual commute which made it convenient) We decided to give the place a try when shopping locally, and we're really glad we did. Seems like they really stepped up their brunch game. The pizzas were as good as they always were, but it seemed like there were more options now, like the delicious mushroom frittata we tried. The service and ambiance haven't changed at all, and that's a good thing. We won't wait quite so long before coming back.

Very aesthetically pleasing restaurant with yummy food, refreshing drinks, and kind service! We had five appetizers and two pizzas for seven people, it was the perfect amount of food!

This was my go-to place while staying at the Marriott across the street (walking distance). So good! And even when packed (which it usually is) I could eat at the bar. I had Saturday dinner, Sunday brunch and... Sunday dinner. 3 exceptional meals! Excellent service too! First dinner was the homemade pasta with lamb sausage and broccolini. OMG it was heaven - such a perfect, mild spicy sauce. The Sunday brunch was amazing: perfect smoked salmon with pickled onions on cream cheese-spread home-made whole grain bread with roasted pine nuts. And then the pièce de résistance : A homemade pastrami platter sitting in a Devine sauce with poached eggs on top. Slop that onto the chunks of farm bread and I was in heaven again. Then the final dinner: Homemade pasta again but with short rib fallen off the bone in the middle, all in a Sherry sauce with those little tree mushrooms - to die for. I splurged with the key-lime merengue desert, which was over-the-top merengue, but what made it work were razor-thin slices of candied, yet tart lime sprinkled across the merengue "helmet" over a super-tart pie. Perfect cutting of the sweet! Man-o-man - this place made my weekend in Marin (and I'm a former local). Five thumbs up!

Cheesemonger Board with house made grain bread

An old friend who lived in Marin county told us about this very special eatery and shopping market. We didn't have reservations, but they were able to seat us in the outdoor covered patio, which was perfect! We enjoyed a comfortable corner table and the natural cool breeze. Our server Paul gently welcomed us and answered some questions about the menu. We shared the cheesemonger board, which consisted of local farm cheeses, fruits, honeycomb, and house-made bread. It was just enough to enjoy our main dishes. I had the smoked salmon, which was so beautifully curated that I was hesitant to eat it! But I did and it was the best taste combination imaginable. The combination of the house made bread topped with a creamy tangy cheese, capers, pistachios, picked red onions and sliced salmon was nothing short of heavenly! My husband enjoyed the pastrami and perfectly poached eggs, accompanied by spicy red peppers and broccolini and served with a slice of grain bread and a slice of locally made fresh butter. He also loved his zero-proof gin mocktail! Apparently, our personable server, Paul, is also a local middle school teacher, and shared a funny story with us. What a memorable brunch experience! I'm so glad we took my friend's advice!

What's great is that there's parking and cute shops in Marin Mart formally known as Larkspur Landing. Farmshop is fresh and dark and great to have a dinner. The music in the dining room is slightly too loud. We ordered the mushroom pizza, salad for me and soup for my mom. The pizza cane out first. They try to be rustic by serving the pizza with scissors. The scissors are really dull and we couldn't cut slices. When a food runner came by we asked for a sharper pair and he offered to cut the pizza for us. I asked where the mushrooms were and he said he just washed his hands and proceeded to pick him fingers into the pizza to show us a mushroom piece. My chicory salad was pretty and yummy. It came well after the pizza. My mom had the cup of soup but thought it was a bowl because it was $17. It was the size of a mug. The steam reflected how hot it was and she burned her mouth. We told our server that it was really hot and he offered that they have it during family meal and it needs to sit for "a minute" and then suggested he get her ice for it. She waited for it to cool and it was good once finally cooled. Ice would have ruined it, Matt.

Really nice location with a boastful outdoor eating space. Thank you Cindy for a great visit and lunch

Tasty pasta and salad could feed two people. Beautiful patio area and nice bar. Pasta has a great spicy flavor, salad and toasted bread was great as well.

First off, kudos to our server who was knowledgeable with all the dishes and was attentive. The best meal we ordered was the pizza. The pasta is ok, small portion and the steak is average. What makes this review 3 stars is additional charge called Small Business Charge around 4%. I know about San Francisco's health charge but Marin? I have not seen this before. Is this a mandated charge? I hope management clarifies what these charges are for... maybe post before people walk in? In the menu at least? I think yelp should also have this as one of the category after "accept reservations" the next line should say "add on tax in bill". Just a suggestion!

It's inside a mall, and I did not see any directories to point the way. Once we found it and sat down, I noticed the sign telling us to scan the QR code on the table to order. Honestly, that almost sent me right back out the door. I wanted an actual menu, not a tiny phone screen with lots of scrolling and submenus, especially since I had questions about the food. The atmosphere felt a bit impersonal at first, mostly because of the mall setting and the QR-code ordering system, but the friendly staff helped make it feel much more comfortable once we got settled. The two people working the front were both very pleasant, answered my questions, and made the whole experience feel much more welcoming. They had a decent IPA selection and a variety of bar foods (pizza, wings, appetizers). We ordered the arancini, fried cauliflower, and a pizza. The fried cauliflower was the surprise hit for me, especially with the garlic aioli. The arancini and pizza were also very good. The QR ordering setup still feels more frustrating than inviting, but the friendly service and surprisingly good food turned things around. In the end, I left glad that I stayed.

When we arrived, we were shown a table by the front door that sat 8 people and was told that our table wasn't available because a party has been sitting there since 3pm. One woman dragged 3 extra chairs in from the patio and we crammed into the table for 8. I said that we would make it work since I was ready for a beer. After 35 minutes and trying to get their attention, not one person came over to take a drink order or even drop off waters. I called over to another local restaurant and they accommodated us with incredible service. Too bad since I had planned to make a large beer purchase for our event the following night. This salad was worth the trip and we'd return just for this! It was such an interesting and delicious fusion! We also had the fish and chips which was traditionally prepared with a side of delicious fries. The fries were not really British style of chips but a signature style for the restaurant which was very nice. The fish was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. The side of slaw was light, refreshing, and delicious on a bed of lettuce. Exactly what you'd want with the heavier fried fish. There are a few things that hold this place back and may ultimately seal its fate in closure. They have nothing to do with the food or service which was very good as noted above. This review if 5 yelp stars for good reason. But, if Bazille wants to survive and thrive it may want to consider some modifications in concert with the Nordstrom store itself. This isn't really about the prices. They were not out of line for local dining of similar far. However, in a department store setting you want the dining experience to be a loss leader / lead magnet to get shoppers in and keep them longer. And, inside there should be SOME link to the store. Why did no one offer to help me find the purse my wife was shopping for that day? Why was there not a thank you coupon for dining good only for this visit (kind of like parking validation but for shopping). We were not offered a coffee or tea. For the fee this would cost nearly nothing an make the upscale Nordstrom experience, which we LOVE, all the better. The franchise is leaving a lot off the table here and there's no reason economically. Why are the sales people on the floor not offering a free desert to try out the restaurant? I think you get my point by now. The experience is disconnected from the Nordstrom experience. Much more can be done. The experience, and it is meant to be an experience like the Nordstrom experience. It does fall a little short there. Look at Restoration Hardware's efforts. You literally sit in their furniture which you could purchase on the spot if you wanted; for example. You dine on their dishes... etc. Back to the prices. I could go to any restaurant nearby for similar prices and fare. So, subsidizing with accoutrements or just money would fill the seats. The place is nice. The staff is nice. Picco blends the best of California with locally sourced and fresh produce with classic and modern takes on Italian dining. The Good: * Reservations via OpenTable * Free street and City-owned lots available but there are time limitations, so check the signage. * They also run a pizzeria (Pizzeria Picco) literally right next door if you'd rather have a pie than pasta. * Outdoor dog-friendly seating * Waitstaff was fantastic and friendly. * Also has a bar if you just want to come in for a drink or three. * Local brews on tap, as well as a full oeuvre of alcoholic beverages. * They're known for their changing seasonal risotto, and after one bite, it was easy to see why! It was simply fantastic, as the rice was cooked perfectly and the fresh spring flavors in ours shone. * Carissa loved her King Salmon and veggies, as the fish was cooked perfectly. I ordered a daily special with house-made pappardelle noodles and smoked beef short ribs, and while it looked like a hot mess, it was fantastic. The noodles were thick and held up well to the assertive smoke and flavor of the beef--just a perfect dish in my opinion.. The Meh: * The Polenta-Crusted Artichoke Hearts appetizer was just OK. I liked the crunch and how they tried to present them as chicken wings, but they ate a little dry and the coating needed more seasoning. Fortunately, their concomitant aioli was able to save the day. The Ugly: * Not the biggest restaurant, and with the brick walls, it can get raucous in there fairly easily, especially if a large post-wedding party shows up to the bar to get sauced.
