Lots of mixed reviews so I will take a moment to give our experience.... Was excited to try this place since Amex gave us credits for Resy restaurants- unlike the other places we went this week - the people that work here are friendly! Yay! They greet you, let you pick your own table, seem to play as a team of workers instead of just on their own. Food was unique and not the same as most places. Enjoyed the pork appetizer, pasta, duck, and ice cream for dessert. Will definitely make a reservation and return! Thank you Amex for introducing us to a new place!

I have been hearing about this location for a while now. I figured since it was my friend's birthday and we all work in Marin that this would be a nice time to try Kitchen table. It was recommended to make a reservation and I did at the earliest they had and that was at 6pm. We arrived early, even before they opened so we waited and asked if we could be seated earlier than our reservation. The hostess said yes and we sat. I did see some of my favorites and asked "what was the current favorites or best on the menu". We went with some favorites and then some new choices. All great choices. service was attentive, and honest. When we asked about the uovo and if it was big enough to share with in 3 people, our waitress said yes, but we would want another. she was correct. The location has no onsite parking lot but there is a lot of street parking. Inside it's cute and modern without the cold feeling that modern sometimes brings. Food was delicious, and I can't wait to come back. food: Portside bread and butter raviolo uovo sausage pizza rigatoni tagliatelle french fries drinks prosecco ruby lemonade

Feb 2023 3.5 I'd say. We were out for a date night, and the space worked well. We were seated outside which was nice noise wise, service and water was spotty since we were away from the main area. Especially after the food dropped, but they helped with any questions we had at the beginning. Still, a heater was nearby so compatriot was warm so that was a plus during the time. We had ordered a raviolo uovo and bread and butter to share. I had gotten the mushroom ravioli. The uovo worked, I thought it could use just a touch of salt but was a little heavy otherwise. The mushroom ravioli was nice and rich, and not too much on the stuffing. It struck a nice balance in that respect. I did run out of sauce tho so the last bites were a bit lacking on that end but it is what it is. Still a nice night out tho for us. The food hit a number of good notes so we'll try to explore the menu more next time.

Is there a credit card processing fee added to the bill?

We had one added to our bill last night. It's illegal in California!! They are double dipping because the cc fee is a tax write off.

Is there a corkage fee?

Corkage is $20 per bottle.

Juan S. was our server for the night. Very knowable about the menu and the dishes. We started with a classic Caesar salad that we shared. It was plenty enough for us. I ordered the Petrale Sole special and my husband had the Pollo Pomodoro with vodka tomato sauce. Both were excellent choices. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, as were the mixed veggies. My husband loved the pasta as well. For 2 entrees, 2 glasses of wine, 1 Caesar salad, 1 bruschetta and a cannoli for later, our bill was $152, before tip. Well worth it.

After we were finally seated and put in our order for drinks, appetizers and main dishes, we waited quite a long time to get our food served. Quality-- not sure if we ordered the wrong things or went in on an off night, but for some reason everything we ordered was underwhelming and lackluster, from the: -drinks (cucumber mojito and strawberry balsamic mocktails) -bruschetta was average -meatballs were sort of flavorless -spinach ravioli with pesto was bland -parpadelle was also bland and portion was oddly small Overall, the food and service was unsatisfactory for the price we paid for the bill. We were excited to come here to celebrate our anniversary and left the restaurant feeling super unfulfilled with our meals. Safe to say we won't be coming back to this establishment, nor will we be suggesting this restaurant to friends and family.

From start to finish, he was beyond amazing--warm, welcoming, insanely knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about his craft. Every single drink was PERFECT. Not one miss. The **location is beautiful**, the atmosphere is fun, vibrant, and incredibly enjoyable--one of those places where you instantly feel relaxed and excited to be there at the same time. Great vibes, great energy, great people. This place is a MUST, and Víctor is the reason we'll be coming back again and again. The staff was very friendly and attentive and they had some great specials available that night but I mainly ordered from the menu except when it came to desert ;) Ordered: *Crostino del Vesuvio - Really yummy. Loved the freshness of the tomatoes but there was a small portion of burrata on the crostini and that made it a bit disappointing. *Salsiccia - Tasty BUT the dough was undercooked and couldn't hold up to the sauce, sausage and toppings. The pizza got soggy really fast and everything seeped in. After eating about 1/3 of the pizza I just started eating the toppings because the crust was gummy. **Let me mention here that my pizza probably sat a little longer than needed because they brought the appetizer AND the pizza out at the SAME TIME which made ZERO SENSE why they wouldn't space them out but that probably added to the sogginess of the pizza** *Cannoli - OUTSTANDING! Honestly the best cannoli I've had outside of Italy. I would come back because overall the food was good and so was the service but would definitely ask that they space out the appetizer and pizza AND that they make sure the pizza dough is cooked thoroughly!!
