It was another burger test. Who's got the best in Marin County? It's not even close. Super Duper wins. Not just in taste, but in quality, communication, cleanliness, and overall this place beat out many others that have certainly done a good job, but not a great job at making the best burger. Included in this list was In 'n Out, RH, Roam, Gotts, Hamburger in Sausalito, and a dozen others that make burgers, but none as good as Super Duper. I like the fact that they communicated very clearly at the order counter. I prefer no salt. No problem here. The burger came out hot and juicy. Cooked perfectly. The french fries were not greasy and tasted fresh. Even their homemade dipping sauce had a nice tang to it. Homemade pickles were delicious. Other communications in the restaurant explain their history and their commitment to quality and organic products. If you're gonna have a burger, this is the place to go. And it's about a dollar to two dollars less than the other fancy places. I would recommend them. Tip: Read their well-designed newspaper. read more

As well, I asked for the onions on the side and the young girl with black hair said she can't add anything on the side of seasonal menu items. But if I order a regular burger, I can?! The Super Duper in Corte Madera serves fresh burgers in a clean new spot, but somehow left me feeling relatively neutral. As a fan of Super Duper Burgers, I was excited that they were going to take over the old Amy's Drive Thru spot. Most of the same architecture including the living roof still exist! The dining area is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. I at least make it an annual tradition to eat at Super Duper because I have always felt the calories were worth it. I was surprised to find that my last visit made me feel a little lukewarm. Here is what I ordered: The Super (3.5/5): As the name suggests, these were hefty and filling. I always enjoy that they have fresh ingredients that don't leave you feeling gross. However, they did feel a little bland? Definitely don't want too much salt, but these didn't have the same satisfaction that I remember. Not sure if it is because with expansion they are not doing the same quality control checks? The Bird (3.5/5): The fry on the chicken was great with not too much breading. However, similar to The Super, this felt a little bland. I did decide to have the sauce on the site, but I felt like I had to use the whole sauce to make it have any flavor. There are ways to order with a person or on a screen. They also have a drive-through. The service was pretty quick. There is plenty of parking in the lot, but the signage can be a little confusing in terms of entering and exiting. While I did not have the same satisfaction from the food from other Super Dupers, I did still enjoy my experience overall. I love super duper in Mill Valley. I eat super duper about once every two weeks. The Corte Madera location isn't as good. I don't know if it is because it is bigger or newer, but the thing that is most noticeable is the buns are not as soft here. Ate here twice because it on my way to a rehearsal I do once a week, and both times I was left wondering why the bun is so dry. Hopefully they will get it together here. read more

They've taken over what was a healthy eatery, thank goodness! And it is a drive through right along the highway! Also does combo meals which some don't offer. Good alternative to the Mill Valley location as it is right off the Northbound direction. This was originally a Denny's then a veganish type fastfood restaurant, and now Super Duper. Only 3 cars in line and took me about 5 min from order til food. Only difficulty there is no easy legal way to get back onto the 101. read more

Me and my friend got chicken sandwiches here and the chicken was raw and gristly on the inside. Super scary and gross. I have never had this happen at other locations. I'm not sure if people were just training or something, but I will not be eating here again. read more

Super Duper Burgers was an amazing experience from start to finish! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I ordered the Philly Burger, and even though I'm not a fan of jalapeños and understood that certain items couldn't be removed because it was a seasonal burger, the staff was so helpful in figuring out a way to make it work for me. I really appreciated them taking the time to listen and accommodate where they could. The burger was absolutely delicious, and we also got a strawberry shake to share with my wife, which was the perfect addition to the meal. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made the experience even better. Overall, amazing food, amazing staff, and great service. This is the third time I have order from Super Duper in Corte Madera for delivery and the third time they have not included the full order or got the order wrong even though I was charged for what I actually ordered and the receipt taped to the bag had the correct order. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from Super Duper Corte Madera store again. Three strikes and you're out. read more

My go-to super duper has always been the one in Novato, but this place might just be my new favorite spot to grab a bite! The location is stunningly beautiful, clean, and just overall really nice. It's spacious and creates a great atmosphere for enjoying food with friends and family. As always, I highly recommend the chicken sandwich with hamburger buns and a side of fries (my favorite). The shakes are never disappointing; the cookies and cream flavor is always the best. Oh, and my first time trying their lemonade drink was an absolute wow! read more

I believe it was the gran opening, once was an Amy's Drive-thru, now a Super Duper. The place very bright, clean, and inviting. The staff very friendly and for being brand new they get the food relatively quick. The drive thru looks busy, so easier to order inside thru a kiosk or in person. The burger was amazing, looks freshly made and ingredient's Are grade A quality. It's a pretty good spot to have a Super Duper, I do recommend to stop by and check them out if you never been. read more

I was invited to go to a soft opening for a new superduper location in Corte Madera. I have been to other locations and like them so this was an easy thing for me to do. The promotion for us was a chance for us to come in and try their food, but also for them to practice going through the motions of normal business before their grand opening tomorrow. For the two of us we had an allowance of $40 which was enough money to pay for two sandwiches drinks and fries, including upgraded options like garlic and milk, milkshakes, etc.. This location has a drive-through which is unique for Marin County being an area that does not have many drive-through restaurants so it is good for the restaurant and good for the people to be able to go through quickly if they were on the road traveling one thing that people will have to do when coming here if they don't know, the area is to use navigation because of the way the streets are here. It can be tricky to find a way back to the freeway. Food wise, there is definitely quality here. The burger taste fresh with a lot of flavor from the meat and from the way it is cooked very well balanced with all of the ingredients the garlic fries where as you expected. The milkshake was really good and being as rich as it was a large size was not necessary some of the things that were nice, was being able to drink out of real glass, and actually having glass jars of freshly made pickles to take to your table to enjoy where a big plus I recommend this place if you want a fairly quick place to come and get a burger or chicken sandwich with all the usual accompany mints read more

Went through the drive through this afternoon around 12:30. The guy taking the orders was great, but after driving off and taking the garlic fries out of the bag I ordered (I rarely order fries) I was shocked at how greasy and dripping with oil the fries were. And they were soft and mushy, as well. Quite disgusting! The 2 napkins that came with the order soaked up the oil along with oil dripping onto my pants. The fries were so drenched it was really bizarre that they would give customer's a bag of oil rather than fries. At least that is what it seemed like. I have never seen fries drenched in so much oil. Do your customers a favor and make sure the fries are drained of excessive oil before serving them. The super burger was ok, but not that exciting. Won't be going back any time soon if ever again. Okay, we've been here 3 times now, and I really wish the food was better because we wanted to like this place. Honestly, the best things on the menu are the regular fries and the ice cream cone. The ciabatta bread on the burgers is thick and dry, and the chicken sandwich was undercooked. We also asked for sriracha twice and both times it was forgotten. Receiving a drink in a thick broken glass & serving that with no apologies for the shards of glass on the drink followed by one of the service guys say, "do you want a new glass after being shown dramatically the broken glass was bad enough! Delicious!!! Haven't had super duper in nearly a year, but I had that garlic fry craving. I think this location is on the newer side a boy do they make some great food! I had a double double w/ciabatta bread, garlic fries with xtra garlic (though it's more like xtra cheese really) and a naked bird. Is this SF Bird's spice recipe?! Beautiful location too- high ceilings, bi, open and standalone, even a drive through! Wish I lived closer, would happily return. read more

I went here when after a fast so I was REALLY hungry. Waited in the drive-thru line which was my mistake, I should've gone in, because I know how long it takes here & it was a long line. When I got to the speaker I asked about a particular burger & if it had any mayo or sauce on it. She said hold on let me check & came back to tell me no. I ordered that & fries then waited. & waited. Maybe it just felt longer because I was so hungry, maybe they still were getting it together because they were new. Picked up my food & drove to my next location so I could inhale it. Only to find that, yes...there was sauce on the burger. So no food for me. Great. I let them know & someone named Miriam said she would like to refund my order. That was a month ago. I'm not a huge burger eater anymore, but when I do, it's Super Duper. The hamburgers are awesome. The only things I do not enjoy is every time I have been there--seven times in all so far--the garlic fries are always cold. Yes. Seven out of seven. Not just "not hot" but the top is cool (maybe a tiny bit warm), and the fries are only semi-warm at the bottom. I always end up not eating them. I use the drive-thru, so I don't bother returning to ask for warmer fries. And it's also not because I waited to taste the fries. As soon as they hand the bag to me and I turn out of their driveway, I reach in the bag and sure enough, they're cold. So when they serve them through the window, they're not very warm at all. However. The burger is always piping hot and delicious. The other thing I don't like about the place is if you pay with a credit card, they always hold it out there for a tip. It just makes things uncomfortable. I am a die hard tipper, but I'm sorry, I have a problem doing so at a drive-through burger place, and they shouldn't make you feel uncomfortable for choosing to not do such. Update 07-18-26. Oh my gosh. Horrible experience there this evening. Unfortunately, I am never going there again. We were driving home to Santa Rosa from SF tonight. We decided to go to there again. I was hungry for a burger and I would even give their garlic fries a try again. We did the drive-thru. We turned out of the driveway and when we opened the bag, we noticed it was completely the wrong order. So we drove back and I went inside. I informed them of the error (about seven minutes had passed since I had been given the incorrect bag). The person said "oh sorry", took the bag, and walked away. He came back about 45 seconds later and said "here's your bag". I opened up the bag, and it looked all wrinkled and tossed through (like the customer who had received the incorrect order had riffled through it (as we did ours when we received the wrong one--mostly in confusion, looking for at least a vestige of our order). The Department Of Health prohibits this, as well as I don't want it. The food was totally cold, as well as touched and looked through by a customer. I'm not a germophobe or anything, but who wants a bag of cold food who someone else has gone through? I asked for a new order. The manager came out, and had a sardonic attitude from the onset. "It was only a few minutes..." she said when I told her it was cold. Candidly, she was mean. Very sad. It was upsetting and sad. I truly will never go here again, and will tell others about them when asked. It's not a pleasant place to trust and eat their food with confidence.
