    The Bird and The Super
    Patrick S.

The Super Duper in Corte Madera serves fresh burgers in a clean new spot, but somehow left me feeling relatively neutral. As a fan of Super Duper Burgers, I was excited that they were going to take over the old Amy's Drive Thru spot. Most of the same architecture including the living roof still exist! The dining area is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. I at least make it an annual tradition to eat at Super Duper because I have always felt the calories were worth it. I was surprised to find that my last visit made me feel a little lukewarm. Here is what I ordered: The Super (3.5/5): As the name suggests, these were hefty and filling. I always enjoy that they have fresh ingredients that don't leave you feeling gross. However, they did feel a little bland? Definitely don't want too much salt, but these didn't have the same satisfaction that I remember. Not sure if it is because with expansion they are not doing the same quality control checks? The Bird (3.5/5): The fry on the chicken was great with not too much breading. However, similar to The Super, this felt a little bland. I did decide to have the sauce on the site, but I felt like I had to use the whole sauce to make it have any flavor. There are ways to order with a person or on a screen. They also have a drive-through. The service was pretty quick. There is plenty of parking in the lot, but the signage can be a little confusing in terms of entering and exiting. While I did not have the same satisfaction from the food from other Super Dupers, I did still enjoy my experience overall. Worth checking out if you are in the mood for a freshly made burger!

They've taken over what was a healthy eatery, thank goodness! And it is a drive through right along the highway! Also does combo meals which some don't offer. Good alternative to the Mill Valley location as it is right off the Northbound direction. This was originally a Denny's then a veganish type fastfood restaurant, and now Super Duper. Only 3 cars in line and took me about 5 min from order til food. Only difficulty there is no easy legal way to get back onto the 101.

My go-to super duper has always been the one in Novato, but this place might just be my new favorite spot to grab a bite! The location is stunningly beautiful, clean, and just overall really nice. It's spacious and creates a great atmosphere for enjoying food with friends and family. As always, I highly recommend the chicken sandwich with hamburger buns and a side of fries (my favorite). The shakes are never disappointing; the cookies and cream flavor is always the best. Oh, and my first time trying their lemonade drink was an absolute wow!

Super Duper, just open in Corte Madera

I believe it was the gran opening, once was an Amy's Drive-thru, now a Super Duper. The place very bright, clean, and inviting. The staff very friendly and for being brand new they get the food relatively quick. The drive thru looks busy, so easier to order inside thru a kiosk or in person. The burger was amazing, looks freshly made and ingredient's Are grade A quality. It's a pretty good spot to have a Super Duper, I do recommend to stop by and check them out if you never been.

I was invited to go to a soft opening for a new superduper location in Corte Madera. I have been to other locations and like them so this was an easy thing for me to do. The promotion for us was a chance for us to come in and try their food, but also for them to practice going through the motions of normal business before their grand opening tomorrow. For the two of us we had an allowance of $40 which was enough money to pay for two sandwiches drinks and fries, including upgraded options like garlic and milk, milkshakes, etc.. This location has a drive-through which is unique for Marin County being an area that does not have many drive-through restaurants so it is good for the restaurant and good for the people to be able to go through quickly if they were on the road traveling one thing that people will have to do when coming here if they don't know, the area is to use navigation because of the way the streets are here. It can be tricky to find a way back to the freeway. Food wise, there is definitely quality here. The burger taste fresh with a lot of flavor from the meat and from the way it is cooked very well balanced with all of the ingredients the garlic fries where as you expected. The milkshake was really good and being as rich as it was a large size was not necessary some of the things that were nice, was being able to drink out of real glass, and actually having glass jars of freshly made pickles to take to your table to enjoy where a big plus I recommend this place if you want a fairly quick place to come and get a burger or chicken sandwich with all the usual accompany mints

Mini 4 cheese burger, garlic fries. Great!

The people are so nice. The ambiance is great, lots of comfortable tables with upholstery. The food is always delicious! Highly recommended!

    2 napkins soaked with oil

Went through the drive through this afternoon around 12:30. The guy taking the orders was great, but after driving off and taking the garlic fries out of the bag I ordered (I rarely order fries) I was shocked at how greasy and dripping with oil the fries were. And they were soft and mushy, as well. Quite disgusting! The 2 napkins that came with the order soaked up the oil along with oil dripping onto my pants. The fries were so drenched it was really bizarre that they would give customer's a bag of oil rather than fries. At least that is what it seemed like. I have never seen fries drenched in so much oil. Do your customers a favor and make sure the fries are drained of excessive oil before serving them. The super burger was ok, but not that exciting. Won't be going back any time soon if ever again. Photo is of the 2 napkins soaked with oil.

Lots of seating inside as well as outside. It was a nice day but a little too warm so we opted to sit inside. You have to order at the counter/register before you find your seat. Salad was a big portion, came with lettuce, beets, chickpeas, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, quinoa, feta, hummus, the falafel of course and a tahini dressing. Super refreshing. I'd order it again. Everything paired well together. The poke tacos order came with 3. The spicy mayo was a nice touch. Again, would order this again. For our drinks, i ordered a Paloma and my friend got a margarita. Drinks were refreshing. Not that strong but still good. Even though you have to order up front, they have someone coming to clean the tables and he even came while we were still sitting down, which was nice. Staff was friendly and pleasant! Will definitely be coming back to try other things. They have a lot of things to choose from, plenty of drinks (both alcoholic and non), as well as desserts! Can't believe I work so close and am only getting to this spot now. Check them out if you can!

A few folks outside some inside. This made ordering quick and easy, and the food was prepared quickly; a benefit for us, perhaps not for the business. The place is still attractive and clean, with plenty of tables outside and inside. I did not that, as my last visit, there is no shade really provided for the outside seating, save ONE small umbrella. Ugh - not sure what the issue is, and being it was a sunny day, we opted to sit inside as much as the patio called to us. The inside is nice, too, though, and there is easy access to the soda fountain machine and condiments. There are still self-ordering kiosks, large digital menus, and of course, you can also order through the app (even if standing inside!) or at the counter. We ordered a bit of each - side, main, and dessert! There was a portabella "'Shroom" burger (with a crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun), cheese fries, a mac 'n' cheese, chicken bites, and a Key lime shake, a special offering! Damn the calories, full taste ahead! The food was indeed prepared quickly and served hot. The Shroom burger was my favorite last time, and for taste and texture this time was also delicious and good. The cheeses inside were melty-gooey, and the mushroom crispy. It was, though, much smaller than I remember - it fit within my hand! A con, against the price, for what is a nice option for veggies or anyone wanting a change in their burger. The chicken bites were smaller than expected in size, more like nuggets, but tasty. The mac 'n' cheese was also tasty, but also a bit small for the price. The fries are always good, and in this case, you need to dig to the bottom early on to scrape some of the melted cheese that dripped down back onto the fries. Very yummy. But the best part was the Key lime shake, a flavor I just love (cheesecake is my favorite iteration of this flavor) but this milkshake satisfied me greatly. A little pricier than their everyday shakes, but how often so you find a unique flavor like this! A win! Overall, a solid 4-stars for food flavor and quality, and also for ambience and environment. Price wise, it was about $40 for two of us, so not a great bargain, but given the economy today I have the same financial shock at other places as well. Still, a nice treat and we left happy.

Curated furniture are displayed on the first and second floors. The third floor is where the magic happens, with its iconic chandeliers, elegant fountain, and olive trees creating a stunning ambiance. No matter where you're seated, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the Corte Madera outdoor mall and surrounding hills. The warm welcome at check-in set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. We were seated inside, and the views didn't disappoint. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I ordered a glass of white wine while my partner enjoyed a mimosa. The restaurant doesn't offer a full cocktail bar, but that wasn't an issue for us. The menu offers a great selection, but I already knew what I wanted after browsing it before our reservation. I ordered the whole grilled branzino with grilled broccolini, and my partner chose the lobster roll. Both dishes were beautifully presented. My deboned branzino was cooked perfectly--moist and flaky with just the right amount of crispness on the outside. The seasoning was simple, just the way I like it, allowing the flavors of the extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon to shine. The broccolini was perfectly cooked with a bright citrus finish. Even my partner, who isn't usually a seafood fan, really enjoyed both the fish and the broccolini. The fish was incredibly fresh with no fishy aroma, and the broccolini had the perfect al dente texture. My partner's lobster roll was equally impressive. The lobster was sweet, tender, and generously portioned, served on perfectly toasted brioche that complemented the filling without overpowering it. The portion sizes were just right. We didn't need a to-go box and we left feeling completely satisfied without feeling overly full. Although we skipped dessert, we were celebrating a milestone, and our thoughtful waiter surprised us with a warm chocolate chip cookie. It was absolutely delicious--fresh from the oven with melted, gooey chocolate in every bite. It was the perfect ending to an already wonderful meal. Service throughout our visit was prompt and friendly, and every staff member we encountered was welcoming. The restaurant was well maintained, including the restrooms, which were clean and well attended. Overall, RH Rooftop Restaurant in Corte Madera delivered an exceptional first experience. Between the beautiful setting, delicious food, attentive service, and breathtaking views, it's a place we'll definitely return to.

This is my second visit here, but this is my first review (I forgot to review my last visit!). But…read morethis time there were more of us! This place is very nice all around. Good location, plenty of parking across the street in a public garage, nice décor and ambiance, wonderful staff, and a good menu, although it is light on vegetarian options; but if you are not a picky vegetarian, you can still leave happy and fed. There is plenty of indoor seating, and even a nice side patio protected from sun and wind; however, being alongside 3rd Street, a rather busy street, it can be a bit noisy. As nice as the day was, we opted to dine inside so we could chat. They have some good appetizers, and we chose the onion rings and the must-try Ooey Cheesy Balls (5 fried potato balls, mozzarella, parmesan, parsley, house-made smoked jalapeno aioli). The onion rings are plentiful and not at all greasy, a great start to the meal, but the anchor of the apps (for me at least!) are the Cheesy balls. They are different: basically mashed potato balls with cheese inside, deep-fried, and delicious! The house-made smoked jalapeño aioli is awesome too, and it's my preferred dip for the onion rings. For the entrees, I tried a pizza for once, after seeing many good reviews. I tried the Blue pizza (Garlic & herb olive oil, mozzarella, blue cheese, spinach, artichoke, mushroom, red onion). We also had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich (Butter lettuce, tomato, fresh slaw, pickle slices, house- made smoked jalapeno aioli (mild), brioche bun), the Chicken Salad Sandwich (Poached chicken, celery, parsley, dill, lettuce, tomato, pickled red onion, mayonnaise, focaccia bread) with an added mashed potatoes for a side, and a Chicken Pesto Panini (Pesto, roasted bell pepper, spinach, provolone, mayonnaise, focaccia bread). All the meals were very fresh, and the food was great! The Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich was a tower to look at, with two breasts as the main feature. The other sandwiches were well liked as well, but I know I was the lucky one with the pizza for lunch. If you like blue cheese, this is a great pizza you don't often find elsewhere. The toppings were just right, though I wouldn't have minded a bit more blue cheese, and the olive oil base instead of a red sauce was perfect for letting the flavors really come through, with the cheese, meaty chunks of mushrooms, and onions all balancing each other. The crust was a separate delight, a very thin sourdough type with a crust worthy of eating on its own - and it was! Sadly, between the appetizers and the entrees, there was no room for a dessert, and we all took home some of our lunches, and two of us brought home food for others! Always share the goodness . . . Can't wait for the next visit!
