We were so hungry we attacked it.
    Thomas B.

Well, I just happened to pick a day when school just let out for the summer and a place was jam packed with every kid in the state. Would impress me the most was that the employees were well staffed and the lines moved quickly. I ordered the number two meal deal which was a patty with cheese and fries and a Coke. I was looking forward to this as I had been one of their first customers and then I moved so it was nice to come back and complete the circle. I was wondering if it would be as good as it was the first time I ate here. My order arrived along with my wife's and my burger looked a lot smaller than it did in the photo. Also, the entire burger itself is a fairly small bun so that probably creates the optical illusion in a photograph. The patty was fairly thin and well cooked. Not very juicy. But I have to say it had great burger flavor. All the ingredients in the sandwich and the bread were all fresh and I could taste it and see it. It is actually very well put together because it has eye appeal when it arrives. With an incredibly crowded business on an especially busy day for kids, I was surprised that it took us 5 to 10 minutes to order and get out. I was curious how the food would look when the bag was opened and to my surprise, they gave us plenty of ketchup sandwich sauce. The burgers themselves were very satisfying as far as their size goes , and the french fries were very fresh and had a wonderful flavor to them. Not like they were mass produced and fried and old oil these refresh and delicious. I prefer mine a little bit more crispy and a little thicker but these were very tasty and did just fine. For the $12 that I spent on the mail, I think the whole thing was worth it considering what I could've gotten elsewhere. My appetite was taken care of and my wife was very happy with hers. She went for a number three meal. Neither one of us has complaints to make about The cleanliness or freshness of the business. And the staff we're all really really nice and helpful if they could be. We enjoyed the visit, though it was a little noisy had nothing to do with the staff for the restaurant. It had more to do with how popular they are, and the kids know it.

This is such a great In n Out. The people are so nice! Great service and food. Today I tried the secret menu Flying Dutchman. So delicious. It is incredible! And no carbs, 30 G protein, 380 calories. Wonderful!!

5/5 -- A Classic That Never Misses I don't know what kind of magic they put in these burgers, but wow. My Double-Double was perfection: fresh, juicy, cheesy, and stacked with crispy lettuce, thick tomato slices, crunchy pickles, and grilled onions that tied it all together like a love letter to fast food greatness. The bun was soft with just the right toast--no sogginess here, just golden bliss. Service was quick, friendly, and actually felt human (shoutout to the cashier who was hyping everyone up in line). Even during the lunch rush, everything moved smoothly. The vibes? Iconic. Classic red and white decor, chill music in the background, people from all walks of life just vibing with milkshakes and fries--it's basically the West Coast version of comfort food heaven. In-N-Out, you're the GOAT. Never change.

First stop off the plane when visiting was to a local In-N-Out Burger! We decided to share a Double Double Meal and it never disappoints. The burger was fresh and I'm glad I asked for extra sauce. The fries could have been crispier but they were hot. There was a long line but staff got through orders quick. We also shared their Signature Pink Lemonade which was surprisingly delicious!

Super busy but decent crowds waiting for their burgers late Saturday night. Always methodical taking and filling orders. Friendly I&O employees. Food was good and fresher and expertly packaged to go. A must do when in Marin County. About a 10 minute drive from GGB.

Stopped by to grab a vanilla milkshake around 6 pm on a Thursday. Line was going out the door, this spot doesn't seem to have a drive thru. Even though the line was a bit long, it went by quick. Since I only ordered a milkshake, they made it as soon as I ordered so I didn't have to wait for everyone else first. Shake was a 5/5. Would come again if in the area!

When in California you have to go to In-N-Out Burger, right? So we went. It was fun to get in on the hype and be able to say been there, done that. The burger was okay. It wouldn't be fair to rate it as a "burger" when it's fast food. But as far as fast food goes, it was a decent burger with the fixings on it. Those are very fresh. The bun was fresh and tasty. I wouldn't go again, but it was worth the one trip.

We came to California so of course we had to be sure to hit the In-N-Out burger. I had a plain cheeseburger with fries. The burger was good. It was fresh with a nice soft bun. Fries were okay. Nothing special there. We came for the experience and I'm glad we did.

First time at an in-n-out burger and I was not disappointed. We went to a location outside of San Fran so that it wouldn't be as busy. We had our food in less than 10 minutes. I do truly understand the hype, the food was delicious. I give everything an 8/10. I should have tried the "animal fries"; maybe next time.

Good and trash on the floor - everywhere!

Visited August 29, 9:30... the place was filthy... food all over the floors, dirty tables... I don't know why folks think this chain is good... the fries are soggy, food nothing special, and a long wait... many better options ...

The classic Californian Burger variant in the well kept location in Mill Valley with plenty of parking. The codeword for the gluten-free low-carb seed-oil-free burger is protein-style.

On my way home from the city, so easy. Much less crowded than most I&Outs. No drive through But I applaud that, no emissions! Always a reliable burger choice! Extra pickles and grilled onions for me!

    Double double! The best! :)

This review is for take-out…read more My first time ever in Mill Valley and was visiting friends. I saw that I could order dinner for takeout... $70 of disappointment. Though the staff were very friendly and the speed/ timeliness for my pickup was great, the food was sub par. The fried chicken bucket was supposed to have two pieces of breast, thigh, and drums. I got three drums, three thighs, and a drum-thigh. I didn't expect the batter to have a weird seasoning (reminded me of Shake and Bake) as opposed to a restaurant-quality fried chicken batter recipe. Then sad flavorless, soft slaw (instead of crisp so likely not made fresh) that was missing the jalapeños and salt and some sugar. Mashed potatoes had good texture but tasted sour! Corn bread muffins were a bit undercooked in the middle. The warm chocolate chip cookies were delicious and chock full of chocolate chunks, but that's about it. The Brussels sprouts were burnt and tasted burnt... soaked in soy sauce. The peach cobbler was insanely sugary and tasted like chopped canned peaches baked into extra sugary, pound cake-like bread pudding. $12 for what looked to be like a mush in a bottom of the cup (see photo for the ridiculous portion). It was disappointing to have to throw out more than half of this order. *The indoors and outdoor seating look really cute though.

Our kids sucked down there super small cokes that come in the combo while they waited for their food. As soon as we got our food, we pulled over and started eating the fries or some of the worst coldest driest rubbery fries I've ever gotten from any drive-through. The chicken sandwich was a joke. The bun was so dry and crumbly, I had to peel all of the rock hard edges off just to bite into the sandwich and when I did, the grilled chicken was rubbery, stale, and lukewarm I can't believe we waited so long and the food wasn't fresh. It tasted like it had been sitting there half the night before they gave it to us. I'm all for paying high price for quality food. If it's worth it, this sadly was not. all four of us got home and complained individually about our experience. Pretty sad for a $75 drive-through order which consisted of three combos and an extra hamburger. Definitely will make efforts to avoid this place in the future. I feel bad, giving poor ratings, but I also do not like when restaurants rest on their laurels have high priced food yet the quality and the experience don't match.

Then an order of garlic fries and an IPA for about $30 total. We ordered at the kiosk while our other friends ordered from the counter. I'm glad we ate in as the burger and fries would have been soggy if we took it to go. I also ordered water but had to go get it myself. Why even put it on the menu? Also, the pickles had some heat which is good in my book.

Now part of that is the physical set-up of it which was done YEARS ago and never updated (assuming they even could fix it). I asked the order taker what the price was for a Big Mac Value Meal and she shouted that she wouldn't know unless I placed my order and then it would tell her. Really, because I'm pretty sure that order is the number one thing they sell so she should know the price by the second day she worked there. Btw, how is it even legal to not display your prices? Every McDonald's has different prices so you really need to know. The other thing, apart from corporate malfeasance, is that the staff is exceptionally rude and constantly get your order wrong. I asked for a Dr Pepper and on the order board it said "Coke" so I had to correct them. Then when I got my order they gave me ice, when I had asked for none, and didn't give me ketchup and salt on the side like I asked for. All the while being shouty at me, just because I corrected them politely. I've learned my lesson and am never coming here again, and I suggest you do the same, unless you're a masochist and like to be abused.

That's a testament to both the portion sizes and the quality. You're getting real value here. The menu has a wide variety of burger options, and they've put some thought into the kids' menu. They also do catering for birthdays with sliders and different options, which is a nice touch for families. The space itself is versatile.
