Love this place for a quick but healthy and nutritious meal! This is my friend and I's go to for after workout replenishment. They have varieties of options be it: hearty salad or protein rich bowls! The place is situated in the heart of Bon Air shopping center where its close to other shops! Very convenient location and a good amount of space indoors! Service can be hit or miss! Some are friendly & welcoming and some are just not quite welcoming. Other than that, I would recommend this place and will always come back for quick healthy meals on the go!

Caramelized Garlic Steak Seasonal Bowl with miso garlic, pesto, and spicy sauce. So delicious! (Ubereats)

I ordered the caramelized garlic steak seasonal bowl with 3 sauces Miso, Pesto, and Spicy. I didn't use all of the sauces at once. It is nice to have options. The steak bit like filet mignon, not tough to the bite, tender, flavorful. The wild rice was nice. Not bland, perfect Al dente. Spicy broccoli wasn't even spicy. It was crunchy which was fine. The tomatoes were tomatoing but the star of this bowl is the roasted sweet potatoes. Let them soak up the sauce and enjoy. I couldn't eat the entire bowl in one sitting, but it was perfect because I ate half with the miso ginger sauce and the other half with the pesto sauce. I poured the spicy sauce all over the entire bowl when I first got it still piping hot. It's not easy for me to find gluten free, dairy free, delicious AND healthy takeout. This is one of my shameless repeats. Oh wait. I meant guilt free. Shameless is appropriate for another use case. Ubereats delivered this to my house so I could work uninterrupted from home until it came. I also don't like going out too much so this was helpful. Fiver. Deserved. Done.

I have to say I am shocked this place doesn't have a higher rating on here. The food is so good, the serving sizes are substantial and left me full and happy without being weighed down. The staff was SO friendly! They were happy and helpful and I appreciate each one that I interacted with! I also love that almost everything was compostable at the end of the meal.

My first experience at Sweet Green was very pleasant, as two friends treated me to lunch there. The place was immaculately clean, and the staff welcoming. I ordered the steak, with baked sweet potato, sliced tomatoes, and warm mixed grains, with a pesto dressing, plus a can of Kombucha. The steak was cut up in small pieces, which I appreciated, as it made it easier to eat. The taste of the food overall was a bit bland, and could have used a bit more seasoning. It was a very plentiful serving, and I took half home to enjoy for dinner. Seating is limited inside, but outside there was lots. Fortunately, it was a lovely day, so we dined al fresco. I intend to go back to try something else. The food is already prepped, and, depending on what you order, ranges from $15-18. Located near CVS in the Bon Air Shopping Center in Greenbrae, California.

Absolutely addicted to the Buffalo Chicken Salad... blackened chicken, pickled veggies, blue cheese, hot sauce and Caesar dressing... add a lime squeeze and you have got the perfect salad.... If you haven't tried it. You should. But get ready to be addicted... the cravings are REAL

Sweetgreen is a national fast casual chain of healthy salad bowls. Call it Sweet Tomatoes meets Chipotle in concept. Build your own salads the way you like them. Like other "Puzzle" food concepts, you put the pieces together, starting with a base and adding toppings, dressings, textures and flavors. You know that $5 clear plastic box of mixed greens or spinach you get at Safeway? Start with about 1/5 -1/6 of that in a paper bowl, roughly medium Pho bowl size, as your base, or mix with a carb, like wild rice. You get 4 toppings free, and that combo starts at $9.95. There are a lot of premium toppings that cost $1-$3 more each (I.e. avocado, grilled tofu, etc). You can pick your salad dressing, which comes in those plastic mini containers that is about the size of the Tempura dipping sauce I get from the local Japanese restaurant for takeout. They have on the overhead digital menus 5 Warm Bowls set for you, like Harvest, Crispy Rice, Chicken Pesto, Shroomami (mushrooms), or Fish Taco ($15-$17) And 5 set Salads: Guacamole Greens, Kale Caesar, Super Green Goddess, Hummus Crunch, and Buffalo Chicken ($11-$15.50). I had a mixed green and wild rice base, toppings of raw beets, avocado, carrot shoe strings, cucumbers, some almond bits, with a hot honey mustard dressing, Rosemary Foccacia bread, and a Healh-Ade Kombucha, all totaling $27+. Not cheap, but this is Marin county, nothing is here. And being Marin county, 90% of the clients are pale, 90% of those working are POC. Sweetgreen has well over 100-200 locations in mostly Blue State urban areas, and was founded in DC by 3 recent grads of Georgetown business school in 2006. In 2023 based on Q1 financial results, it is projected to have revenue close to $500 million, but an annual loss of perhaps $100 million. In fact, it hasn't made a profit in 17 years, ever. So even though they serve healthy food, use local farming, has a compost program for waste, etc., they may not be around forever. Perhaps there investors, like Naomi Osaka, the Black/Japanese tennis star who invested, will lose out, and of course the people working at Sweetgreen's many locations. We'll see. They have a new "SweetPass" frequent eater program, where you pay $10/month, and you get $3 off your bowls, how often I am not sure. They are also testing their first fully automated kitchen in Illinois. So this might help save money toward a profit eventually, either way, this may not be a long term career option, lots of greens but not a lot of greenbacks.

The service is amazing, I love the portions and a worker their names Kamya always greets you with a smile and undivided attention. Thanks Sweet green I will continue to definitely come to this location.

The SO is totally in love with the roast turkey and stuffing hash. Given the opportunity, I think he'd eat it every day. (He did have it both days this past weekend.) I was a bit disappointed in the buttermilk-cornmeal griddle cake that came with my Farmers Breakfast. The taste was fine but it was tough. Chewy is just not an adjective I ever want to apply to a pancake. However, they more than redeemed themselves with the BAT Scramble. I'll need to try a few more items on the menu, but that could easily be my "go to" breakfast. Portions were generous. I took my scone home since the scramble and potatoes were more than enough. The SO had great things to say about their chai. The space is bright and airy, and tables are not so close together as to feel like you're part of your neighbor's conversations. If there is any problem with this restaurant it is with the service. As far as we could tell, there was only one server working the entire space - both indoors and out. Although she was very personable and was doing a more than admirable job considering, it was just too much for one person. (Management, take note! She's great, but could do with some assistance.) Comforts has taken the spot of our favorite breakfast spot in Marin.

Both were fried to perfection and we loved how the sauces complimented the meal so well. The chicken's sauce was spicy, savory and you could really taste the Calabrian chili kicking through. The rockfish's sauce was tangy and was perfect with the fish. The salad was also the perfect side for the meal. Portion were huge and we were able to eat it for another meal.

The food is often sold out by the time I come but I finally got to taste Lou's and I'm blown away. I got: 1. Fried Chicken Spicy: Sorry I don't know the actual names of what I ordered but it was with the orange sauce on top of katsu like fried chicken. This was a bit spicy but not bad at all and this is coming from a wimp who can barely tolerate siracha. The chicken is so crunchy and juicy. I'd compare the sauce to almost like an indian curry like (but not really). 2. Fried Chicken Green sauce: This sauce tasted more like carribean or coconut-y style. Both this and the spicy one was delicious but I actually liked this one more. I loved the coconut/creamy flavor of the sauce and it went so well with the freshly fried chicken. Overall, hands down the best asian food in Marin. There isn't even a question or comparison. The portions are huge, the flavors are fresh and innovative. The service is also great. The shop itself can it a bit hard to find as it isn't really labeled. Its just a small shack in the parking lot of Scotty's Market.

My "Soft Scramble" was a pile of astonishment. It was so unrefined that it was an insult the the ingredients. There was nothing soft about the eggs, they were overcooked. The only thing soft on the plate was the watery run-off from the vegetables they heaped into the eggs: Too many chewy mushrooms and HUGE. Too many cherry tomatoes. I had to dig to find the eggs. The leeks were strips of inedible ribbon. The toast? I think it had been toasted yesterday and left on the top of their oven overnight and then reused today. I had to get up from the table and ask for butter to make it edible and still I worried whether I was going to break a crown. The pickled vegetables? Again, HUGE, hard and barely pickled. I will refrain from criticizing the service because they are all unaware of the nightmare in which they are working. Bless their hearts. I was so sad and annoyed. People think they can buy a restaurant with recipes and wholesale accounts and staff and just run it, "business as usual" but they are wrong. I went in and asked if they had sold the restaurant and was told, "yes." I imagine some tech-bro's wife or some hedgefund community doodler wanted a pet project with zero idea about food or food quality or how to treat and retain employees because what happened to MHBB is astonishing. It's rude and insulting to anyone who opened this restaurant and put in their best to keep the name and claim to be catering to the same people. But then again, this is par for the course or, from my vantage point, everything wrong with what's happened in Marin in a nutshell. Faux authenticity. Zero care. This is now all about the money.
