I've had this pizza twice. Once for a pizza party at our house and once at the restaurant with the fam. Both experiences were awesome. I thought I'd be turned off by the corn in the veggie pizza but it was so good because it was real corn not canned which gave the pizza a freshness. Their pepperoni is delicious. As is the sausage combo. I haven't tried the pastas yet so this review is only for the pizza. I'd love to order for pizza parties again! I'm so happy they're here in Tiburon. Really good. read more

Stopped in this pizza joint for a quick lunch in between meetings and was not disappointed! Nestled alongside the part of Main Street almost right before the ferry entrance, a few cafe tables outside in front of the restaurant and a couple white awnings introduce Waypoint Pizza. The pizza slices are reasonably priced and large. And the slice of pepperoni was absolutely delish! The staff were also polite, friendly, and quick in taking and serving my order. It was pretty awkward when no one said "Welcome" or asked us if we were to dine-in or take out. The people looked at us & said nothing. So we initiated it & told them we needed a table for 4. They then told us to sit where ever we wanted & we did. Just as we sat, a server came with menus, a bottle of water & glasses. He even took our drink orders. He was friendly & attentive. This is our 2nd visit & we really enjoyed the food the last time. We just remember how delicious the sausage was & the freshness of the salad. The Gourmet Sausage Pizza was exactly as we remembered. It paired well with the Transpac Salad. This time we tried The Walk the Flank Between the Sheets. It looked yummy but we had to ask for instructions on how to eat it! It's fold over pizza, like a taco with pizza dough. The steak was perfectly seasoned & flavorful with the veggies. It's a little messy to eat but so worth it. When visiting Tiburon for a day, hunger drove us to find something closest to us and there was Waypoint Pizza. We didn't expect much of it, but since pizza is a safe bet usually we decided to give it a go. Interior is very casual diner-like. Really happy with that decision! We got a table by the window so it was good for people watching. We ordered a half & half pizza, with pomodoro one half and grilled vegetable other half. Both pizzas tasted really good. I've walked by this little pizza joint in Tiberon, but just haven't made the time to stop in. On this occasion I was craving a slice of pizza and said why not. This place is relatively small but big enough to handle a good size groups of people along with bar seating. What's an adder to this place is they have a TV at the bar counter if you want to grab a slice while taking in Sunday football. The menu you can choose from their specialty pizzas, soups and salads, pasta. On this visit I went with a Pepperoni pizza slice. The slices are quite oversized, which was a very pleasant surprise and loved it. I'm a thin crust guy and the dough was crisp and tasty. Waypoint also serve's wine and soft serve ice-cream. I Went here recently with my little sister and girlfriend and had a pretty bad experience. There was stuff floating in our water, and when I asked for a replacement, the owner brought it back rudely and didn't even include ice. When I asked for ice, he responded with sarcasm asking if I wanted a "big tub of ice." On top of that, I noticed bugs around the place, which is really concerning. We noticed our table didnt have any pepper or parm so we had to go physically take it from another, still dirty table. Pizza comes, oddly not super hot. They gave us plates, cutlery and didnt check in on us after even though they were walking around serving others...okay. The Pizza was pretty dry, lacking moisture in dough or sufficient sauce, the bell peppers and onions were only warm, almost as if thrown in as an after thought. The sausage packed flavor, parm and pepper to the rescue? Nope. We had two slices and waited to see if they would come back. They did not, had son go grab a box, they came with check immediately and box after. Didn't even inquire as to why we ordered a large pizza and barely touched it. Decor was cute, service was not great, cleanliness(even floor) needed attention and the pizza was not worth the price. Lacking all flavor. The one thing I've never had in a "perfect pizza" is where it's thin and NONE of the sauce/toppings are falling off. That's my version of perfect! Pizza ! This place was right in our face after our hike at Angel Island. We got the America'a Cub and Veggie pizza. With this place we took a risks we were hungry hot and cold at the same time either my boyfriend and I wanted to take our phones out and do a Yelp review. We don't even know what the food looks like we decided to just wing it. The pizza! Came out after 15 minutes later the wait wasn't too long. Our Caesar salad was delicious!! We kept on talking about how fresh the leafs looked and that dressing! Then after 4-5 minutes later our pizza arrived and it was big! I will say after looking at it looked really pleasant. After 1-2 bites I was amazed how delicious it was. I usually don't do corn on pizza but the taste really felt as if I was eating a really good healthy pizza. Love the taste of the broccoli in it. Definitely coming back their sauce, cheese was on point it wasn't overly cheesy or salty or sweet it tasted clean. Staffs were welcoming and friendly. When ownership changed from an older couple of several decades ago in good standing to a high-charging, anonymous owner about 6-7 years ago, this restaurant went into steep decline. The pizza is still around a "B", but the service is an "F" because no phone orders are accepted; few internet orders are honored; and a very competent high school graduate, John W., is sadly handicapped by his employers. YUCK! Food is comically bad. Pizza slice was soggy with very low-quality ingredients. The veggie plate is incredibly gross. Instead of fresh veggies, it was some sort of weird, greasy stir fry. Nobody ate any of it, such a waste. The location is lovely and the actual restaurant is cute. It's a shame the food is so terrible and expensive. A revamp of the menu and some cooking lessons for the chef (who doesn't seem to know how to make anything or even how to warm/crisp a basic piece of pizza) could really help. read more

I think this restaurant's owner is not self aware, doesn't eat the horrible pizza, doesn't care about the experience of the clients and yet doesn't mind to come and tell you to turn off the phone when you are talking to your mom in a perfectly already loud space with no customers. We were at the Tibureon Classic Car Show and wanted a non-meat option that was relatively quick for lunch. We also had our dog, so outside dining was key. My husband grabbed an outside table and I went inside to order. There are no modifications allowed--no room to add something to a pizza or salad. We waited outside while others loudly complained about the lack of seating. I'd offered to switch tables, but they wanted us to give up our table. I wasn't going to do that--we had food coming. My husband's pizza and my salad arrived. It was super windy and my salad blew off of the plate into the street. The server shrugged. We waited for about 10 minutes for our sodas and water, utensils, etc. Finally, my husband went inside to ask. A server came out with drinks and dirty plastic ware. He put down napkins, which immediately blew into the street. The large group that wanted our table was out-of-control with kids shrieking and yelling. My husband's pizza had cheese melted on it, but the rest of the toppings were raw and cold. All in, I'm not sure why we are giving 2 stars. My salad, which was less than 1 cup of lettuce and maybe a half a tomato, before it blew away, was $13 and the raw pizza was $7. Others looked less annoyed, but we won't be back. read more

We ordered a pesto chicken pasta which is probably the worst tasting pasta I have ever had. The pizza was eatable (we were really hungry). Such a cute little pizza place, super photogenic and everything. Don't get me wrong, this place serves up actually really good pizza, but the service is where everything went wrong. First the pluses, the pizza was amazing! In general, the crust is very good, kind of flaky and burnt so you get that nice bit of char flavor. Also, there is an abundant of cheese which makes an amazing cheese pull picture. The BBQ Chicken was pretty good, chicken bits and the sauce carried a hint of smokiness, but I wish there was more, especially for the price ($21.25). Grateful that they mixed up the Caesar salad completely beforehand, saved a lot of trouble. Okay, now for the concerns. I expect pizza to be received later, but not garlic bread. We asked for garlic bread and kept going back to the cash register and they told us that they would get us it immediately and that it was still baking? 40 minutes later, they finally decided to tell us that they ran out of the bread used for garlic bread so they just replaced it with pizza bread. I don't know about you, but I'm here to eat garlic bread and your excuse was that there wasn't enough staffing and that the bread was baking? Also, so confused how the food came out at rationally different times, like the first one came at 20 minutes, then the second at 40 minutes.
