Salmon with Mediterranean Salad (salmon well cooked and delicious)
Jana H.

Excellent experience, including both food and service! We felt very taken care of by the servers who happily answered all of our questions about the menu, made great suggestions, continually filled our water without asking, and did not rush us out. The menu boasts a variety of delicious sounding options and everything we ordered was delicious, flavorful, and made very well. They even happily substituted pita for cucumbers. FOOD *Foul: although it just looked like refried beans, the flavor was excellent with heavy, but not overpowering, garlic. It was an excellent addition to add to the plates and ave as another dip *Hummus: deliciously creamy and smooth flavor *Lamb Kebab (w/ Beet Salad): lamb had great flavor and was cooked really well. Great portion of beet salad. *Salmon plate (w/ Mediterranean salad): salmon was excellent and cooked well! Generous portion. I would absolutely be back and absolutely order many more options. Would recommend!

Hummus With Chicken Shawarma

I came here on a Tuesday night for dinner and there was no wait. The indoor seating area is not very big but they do have a larger outdoor seating area. It was a bit windy outside so we chose to sit inside. We ordered the following dishes: Beef kabob $22 Chicken kabob $20 Kefta kabob $21 Sea Bass $25 Hummus with chicken shawarma $21 All of the entrees come with choice of one side. For the price of the meals, I think they should serve a little bit more pita bread. Each entree only comes with two small pieces of pita bread. However, the rice was a generous portion. My friend wanted to order a wrap but was informed that the pita pockets and wraps on the menu are served only until 3pm. My friend was very disappointed. I think the restaurant should serve those items all day long. Why stop serving those items after 3pm? Overall, we all liked our food. The restaurant was nice and clean. Service was quick and efficient. I would come back to try other dishes.

Chicken Shawarma

Their chicken shawarma was delicious and very flavorful. I also liked the taste of the spicy hummus, but the texture was... interesting? The best way I can describe it is that it looked a little watered down and didn't have the typical look or texture of hummus. Still, I really liked the flavor!

We LOVE DVine in Brea! Theo serves us often but the owner and all the staff... just AMAZING as a team! Everyone is so welcoming at this location. I love that they build a relationship with you as a customer and treat you with upmost respect and kindness. The food is amazing here. We have gotten pita pockets, most of the kabobs, most of the apps... it's all so good and we've never had an issue or had our food come out wrong. We have been here so many times and the atmosphere is calm, relatively quiet, but they always have light music on / something on TVs indoors and everyone is always happy. I highly recommend coming here if you have not already.

arabic style Beef Shawarma and Chicken Shawarma

I wanted to try a new Mediterranean spot and also this was nearby. I ordered the chicken Shawarma with fries and the beef Shawarma arabic style with yogurt salad. The beef Shawarma was very juicy and tasteful. The meat was moist and the chicken was good and had decent flavoring, but it was still perfectly fine the way it was with the rice. The yogurt salad was very refreshing and.i will definitely order it again. One of the best places i've had recently and service was great! sat outdoors and enjoyed the breeze and watched the tv. If you're in the area, u should def give it a try

New patio ambiance

The food is good as always and the recently updated patio furniture adds a nice touch of comfort. A great place to sit outside during a warm evening. The service was very accommodating when we got one of our orders slightly wrong (our fault not the servers).

Beef Kebab with hummus

The food here is literally divine! Ordered the lamb pita and it was so much food that I ate it over 3 meals! Some of the best land I've ever had. And the French fries are battered and addicting. I had to move them away from me across the table so I would stop eating them!

Patio seating

First time here with a friend. They have a lovely outside patio alongside an inner seating area with bar. Service was pleasant. We had the chicken kebab plate. It was tasty (6/10). I have been to multiple Mediterranean restaurants and this one was average. There was no "wow factor" for taste, presentation, uniqueness, or flavor. It was good but not great.

Amazing food, and amazing service, I recommend the lamb chops, unbelievably good.. will definitely return!

Lamb Kebab

We stopped by Dvine after a visit to the Brea Mall and loved that there was the option to sit both outside and inside. We sat outside and were promptly given the menus. We got the dual protein lamb and shrimp kebab plate with potato salad as well as the chicken and hummus plate with baba ganoush. It was more than enough for us three to share, and everything was so flavorful. The lamb was grilled just right and every side was great to pair with the pita. We'll definitely be back for more someday!

Tyler T.

First time trying Dvine. Nicole was our server and gave us excellent service. food was good, we got beef loaded fires and chicken shawarma with hummus.

Ask the Community - Dvine Mediterranean Experience - Brea

Your 40 dollar family dinner feeds how many people?

That is per person with a 2 person minimum. So, plan on at least $80 for 2. After drinks and tip, plan on around $150 for a couple. You will leave content, but IMO, it's not a deal by any means. I remember when it was like $25 per person.

Is there gluten and dairy free option ? Also what is the operation hours for new year eve?

Looking to have a birthday celebration do you add a service fee to larger parties and if so after how many people?

Hello Janice, yes you can do your birthday with us we have a good prices. Can you please provide us with your phone number so we can contact you, Also you can contact our manager Jamal on 5626765421.…

I noticed you have a patio. Are little dogs allowed?

Hello. Is your phone working? I've been trying to get through for the past hour and it goes straight to an auto message.

I can't get through either. Message says voicemail has not been set up on this number.

Is this place open for indoor or outdoor dining?

Both

There are entrees that have yogurts and cheese but are labeled as vegan. Are those vegan yogurts and cheeses? The ice cream is also labeled vegan, is that true? Or is it meaning to be labeled vegetarian?

Does anyone know if there are gluten free options?

It'll be our first time there, and any recommendations of soup? Thx!

Hello, and thank you for deciding to stop by D'Vine! Our Lentil Soup is a must have, as it's so fresh and bountiful! Squeeze some lemon in there and enjoy!…

Do you serve halal meat?

Our restaurant is not halal, sorry.

What day and time do you have entertainment?

In Fullerton, Brea, and Corona we have a belly dancer at 7:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

If I have a bottle of champagne for a special occasion, can I bring it and pay a corkage fee?

Yes, of course! It's $15

It has fresh Mediterranean food and the interior is nicely decorated. It is located in a strip mall with a large free parking garage in the back. Very convenient. I ordered their beef and chicken kabob plate with a side of mushrooms and potatoes. The kabobs were tasty but the beef one was quite dry surprisingly. The chicken kabob in fact was quite tasty. The mushrooms and potatoes were cold and over salted. My friend ordered their lamb burger (medium rare) with a side of salad. Unfortunately the burger was well done and didn't taste as good. The side salad portion was good and you can tell it was made fresh. As for the service it was quite interewsting. While we were looking over the menu several different staff memebers asked if we were ready to order. Let me just say that this place was half empty and I can tell they were antzy to our order started. As for the rest of the meal , our waitress took forever to refill our beverages which was diet coke and ice team. Mixed review on service. Overall, I would give this place another chance and order another item to try.

There is plenty of parking around the restaurant. We dined inside, but they also have a semi-enclosed patio in front with fans and heat lamps. Their inside dining room is the smallest of the other local Panini locations I have visited. I had the Beef Koobideh Kabob plate with two skewers, the Mediterranean salad, and basmati rice, $20.99). It only cost $3 more to get two skewers instead of one, a no-brainer. This is a huge plate of food! There is a lot of meat which is cooked perfectly and very flavorful. It also comes with a skewer of roasted vegetables. The salad is big, with lots of feta cheese on top, and the homemade balsamic vinaigrette was delicious. The serving of rice is huge, and has a little saffron on top. The side of tzatziki is also a generous size. I ended up taking a half skewer of beef and a lot of rice home to enjoy later. She had the Fresh Norwegian Salmon kabob plate, also with the Mediterranean salad, and basmati rice, $22.99). She had a side of the spicy red bell pepper hummus. This plate comes with the same large serving of salad and rice, and one skewer each of salmon pieces and roasted vegetables. She also enjoyed her plate, and also had plenty left over to bring home. Our server Lestat (yes, he is named after a vampire and is asked about his name often) was very friendly and provided great service. Several other staff members also checked on us often. Their food is healthy, delicious, and a good value. We will continue to order delivery and/or dine in here.

But where Pita Hot sets itself apart from those places is the community. When you walk in, you're greeted with smiles, a question about how your day is, and if you've been there a few times, a quick "how's the wife and kids?" Although some people may see the price tags and wince, they do not skimp on portions. They will fill your plate to the absolute brim, give you one huge pita, and send you on your way. The flavors on the food are nothing to scoff at either. The hummus, tabbouleh, and beef skewer are absolute hits. Flavorful bites with the perfect amount of balance between the acidity of the tabbouleh, the light and rich hummus, and the meatiness of the beef. The shrimp skewer is tasty as well but not something I think I'd get again. The rice pairs well with everything, and as I've mentioned before, the humongous pita they give you is delicious as well. A three skewer plate is enough for two people! All in all, Pita Hot has been around this long for a reason. Their business model and recipes are tried and true. Overall, 9/10.

Since this is an all-you-can-eat restaurant, I initially expected someone to seat me, but I was simply told to find any available table and start eating. That was perfectly fine with me. The food selection included several salads, meats, and other dishes, but unfortunately, nothing really stood out. Overall, I found the food fairly average. The main reason for my two-star rating, however, was what happened when I paid. My bill was around $36.50. I paid cash with one $20 bill and four $5 bills, for a total of $40, and told the cashier to keep the change. What made me uncomfortable was that almost immediately after I handed her the money--while she was still saying "Have a good day"--she pulled out a counterfeit-detection pen and started checking my bills right in front of me. I understand that businesses may have policies for checking cash, and I have no problem with a restaurant protecting itself against counterfeit money. However, the way this was handled felt unnecessarily uncomfortable and somewhat insulting. She could easily have waited until I had stepped away before checking the bills instead of immediately testing them in front of me as soon as I handed them over. I was not rushing out of the restaurant or behaving suspiciously in any way. Of course, I have never knowingly used counterfeit money. The whole interaction simply left me feeling as though I was being treated with suspicion for no apparent reason. If checking cash is standard procedure, I can understand that. But customer service also matters, and there are more discreet ways to handle it without making a paying customer feel accused or embarrassed. Between the average food and this unpleasant experience at checkout, I can only give this restaurant two stars.
