Been coming here at least once a month for 2 years and it's the best inconspicuous Mediterranean spots in OC. For starters, Mike is a very kind server. His conversations are always genuine and gracious and delivers food promptly. The chefs in the back have been the most consistent with the food quality. I like my meat medium and it's perfectly medium every time. Their garlic sauce is fantastic. I can't think of another place with better garlic sauce. They sell them in jars as an option, which shows how well they sell. Lastly, their manager Jesus is a very kind man. Goes out of his way every time to make sure all is well with the food and service, and I mean every time. To top it off, the price is fair. A combination plate comes with humus, salad, garlic with two side options for just under 20. The dining in is just fine if you don't mind the relatively small set up. read more

The owner, Jamal, reached out and asked us to give them another try. I finally got to try them today with my daughter. Qais, our server, was great. It turns out he was the same server as our last visit and apologized for the misunderstanding. Mike (I believe he is the manager) also came and thanked us for giving them another try. We are so glad we did. The food is excellent! I ordered the beef shawarma plate with spicy hummus. The beef was tender and flavorful. The spicy hummus was legit spicy and good. The rice was also good. The garlic sauce is SO GOOD. My daughter got the beef kebab. It was big chunks of meat that very tender. She told me to give this place 5 stars and wants to come back! Walked in on a Friday night around 6:45pm and was able to pick our seat and we're served quickly. We enjoyed the covered patio, and appreciated being brought waters right away! Service was great. We got the chicken shwarma plate with the yogurt cucumber salad. Everything was so good! Big portions too. The price was right for the delicious, large entree! I do wish the pita wraps were available for dinner, but that's ok. The plate comes with pita bread so it's similar. I'll definitely be back, what a nice spot! read more

Family favorites include: -chicken shawarma plate ($13): grilled thinly marinated chicken -kefta plate ($14): grilled ground beef, lamb, onion + parsley -lamb side for $5 All protein entrees come with rice, one cold mezza, and pickled veggies. The pro move is getting extra garlic sauce for an extra small fee. For the mezzas, I like the hummus and the tabouleh. The tabouleh is nice and refreshing especially when paired with a protein. I can't say enough good things about Jamal and Dvine Restaurant. I am a professional wedding planner in Northern California and did long-distance coordination for a 220 person wedding at the Woman's Center in Orange. Jamal was great about communication, and was spot on time in delivering and setting up for the buffet service at the club. He went above and beyond with the rice pudding desserts, too, for later in the evening. There were loads of compliments on both the quality and the quantity of the food. This place sucks. They have terrible customer service and they swear that if they bring extra anything they have a right to charge you tip. We dined in with a large group and the manager had the audacity to argue with one of guest that went out to eat with us. The food was mediocre, bland, and the entrees took a very long time to come out. Not very accommodating and the bit that they were they manager called out in front of our entire party.
