Well...it's a very tough rating for me on this round because to my pure honesty, my rating is 3.5 stars but since the app won't let me cut half a star off and because it's Asian cuisine (Always support Asian food), I give it a 4 stars. Way to go, pal!!! Things I don't find appealing were also mentioned by other Yelppers already, the price isn't exactly to its right corner but only just slightly more expensive. I could see a bowl of this should be around 9-10.75 and more than that is challenging the food quality. But they are actually good. 7 out of 10 good in my opinion. But....but the noodles are very tasty, satisfactory texture and chewy in a breakable way. With the sauce mixed well it's quite delicious. Chicken is yummy. Kind of a light teriyaki with light spice kind of taste. And would you look at how beautiful the bowl looks by the pic! Gyoza is a little hard...I mean...they were served warm but I just couldn't figure out why... If I have to be straight forward, I think they are just pulled out from the freezer and got reheated in some ways. Still taste like Gyoza but definitely not fresh. Still I'll give it a soft 6 for the progress to make. Overall I did have a good experience dining in. Space is welcoming and service is sweet. Well it's the self-serving kind so I would say it's just more to my favor. This little narrow place is wedged between Chase Bank and a parking garage, very urban atmosphere so of course I loved it. It is really close to my office so when I have to show up I took a chance on it. Fun decor and friendlier staff (they were amazing) let me first say I am new to Korean BBQ! So I didn't know what to expect, so please forgive my naive order....I'll get more adventurous in time. I wasn't overly hungry so I ordered the Mandoo Bop bowl with fried potstickers, translucent noodles I can't name, rice and cabbage. Holy cow! Big serving I was surprised the potstickers had a meat inside them I don't know if it was chicken or pork. Heat level? From 1 to 10 I am a wuss so I opted for a "2" while people in front of me were ordering 6 or 7. It had several sauces on it with sesame seeds. The sauces had a sweetness and my heat level 2 still had a nice mild burn in the back of my mouth. The best part was despite the potstickers being coated with sauce they maintained their crispness and the meat inside was soft and moist. Noodles were very good as was the cabbage. Their soda machine however had better days I tasted it on the way back to the office and it didn't taste like Diet Pepsi maybe a syrup issue who knows.....definitely want to go back and try more proteins! read more

Stopped by on a Sat at 6:30 before a show and this place already had a line. They were quick to take our order but ran out of noodles. We didn't want to wait and tried #1 with beef and fried chicken, #6 and #8. Spicy levels 7 is great! And my kiddo would handle spice level 3. I just have issue with the retention program with those cards where you "Buy 10 bowls" get 1. This is the second time I went to treat someone to some food. I got the card the first time and wasn't sure why I started with just one punch when that transaction was 3 bowls. Went today and I got one more punch and I bought 2 bowls. I asked and I was told it is per transaction. So you really would like me to make separate purchases to make full use of this card? Encourage the idea of not promoting your business because I would rather go somewhere else to treat. I don't really get the idea of buy 10 bowls statement when it's by transaction. I ordered food from their website around 11am, for pickup at 12:05pm, I get to the location as I arrive to the door, two female workers approach me by the door(outside the location) They start to tell me the location was closed, that no food is ready, no one was there working at the location, I asked if I could get a refund and they starting talking to themselves and then they walk in and I overhear them say I was rude for asking for a refund for my food. They also were saying that I wasn't going to fight them as well, I eventually walked away, without a refund or food. That is awful #ghetto of them. Walked over from the Hyatt. Rice was undercooked/still a bit hard, noodles were also undercooked/still a bit hard. Fried chicken was mainly batter and the bowl was drenched in sauce. The gentleman that took my order was very welcoming and cordial. When the food was being assembled by the lady, she asked "do you want spicy?" I said yes, please. She gave me a blank/irritated stare as if I owed her something. This was my first and last time here bc she couldn't be bothered to explain that there were levels of heat that I could choose from. The food here was good! Solid fast fresh Korean cuisine. The experience was ruined for me and my family by the service. We had come here for the first time, and even though we were the only ones in the store, we were rushed to order. The servers also seemed bothered when we had questions about the menu. Overall it felt like they were annoyed we were there which was very off putting.
