    Steamed egg, tofu soup

06/06/2026 Tried this Korean BBQ spot for the first time for my cousin's graduation. We had the entire section on the south side of the restaurant for our party. There were 8 tables, each with their own grill. Our server offered to help us cook the food, and I'm glad we said yes because she was so much more efficient at it. She was very friendly and helpful. My table of four ordered the Smoking Tiger Combo A and a seafood pancake. The seafood pancake was delicious and had a nice crust on it. I really enjoyed the brisket and pork belly. The combo came with a tofu soup, steamed egg, and corn cheese. They also gave us five side dishes and a salad. Overall the food was great, and we had a good time. I would definitely go back!

Ok so I was told that we were going to go out and have this amazing dinner that I didn't have to cook lol. Well 1 of the 2 was true. This place is super fun so first of all let me say thank you to the servers they were super helpful and nice. The ordering here is very easy to follow, the meat is fresh and you end up going home with another meal at least the portions are definitely worth the price that you're going to pay for two. I have to say that the kimchee was my least favorite I'm not a fan and my favorite had to be the beef soup it was heavenly delicious. The cucumber salad i wish came in a larger size that was really good as well. You get nice thinly slices of meet to cook up yourself we were really full by the time we left there. This place is perfect for date night. Birthday or company function.

Very good Korean Barbeque. The meat combo's here offer two people PLENTY of food. As with all Kbbq spots, you can cook yourself, although our server did it for us, keeping the food and drinks coming. Our 3-party did the "A" small combo ($80) consisting of Wagyu sliced brisket, pork belly, pork collar, and wagyu beef belly. That included the usual sets of pickled Korean veggies, as well as steamed egg, corn cheese and soybean soup. We also ordered the seafood pancake appetizer ($18), its large enough to share with 3-4 people, and the Stone Bibimbap ($18). I've had better Bibimbap, but the amount and types of meat in the combo was a winner.

I came back to Smoking Tiger Korean BBQ and the food is still absolutely delicious since the last time I was there a year ago. The staff are still amazing with helping me with grilling the meat. Their drinks are so good, got the white tiger and K-town girl. Their Korean dumplings was amazing, really crispy dumpling. I was in a food coma after I had dinner. I took a 4 hr nap because I was so stuffed. I'll be back!

Tasty Korean BBQ place. This is first time for us here so still getting familiarized with the offering. We took simply separate menu items, but next time, we'll go for the grilled options as the tables are prepared for those. Meanwhile, the Stone Bibimbap was absolutely fantastic, and the complements (potato salad, gimchi, radish, sauces, etc.) were all tasty. Service was friendly and courteous, and the place in general is very nicely decorated and preared for the barbequeing. Will come back soon.

Food was great. Service was spot on. They were out of burnt ends, but the brisket was amazing. Loved the southern style potato salad. And the peach cobbler was to dream for! Not a lot of seating but it had good music playing.

Lemme tell you my favorite dish here as a regular! Hass! To be the heavenly wagyu beef. Moist, juicy, and straight-up extraordinary! every bite was favor poppin' in my mouth. My girl and I stumbled into the Smoking Tiger Korean BBQ July 19 around 7 pm. Pleasant atmosphere, still bustling and loud even though it was pretty slow. The service was on point too, friendly without hovering, and the timing was perfect. May I please say more about this beef, although a pricey cut from Korean BBQ. Just a pinch of salt is all it needed.. Didn't even need sauce, but when I added it, that smokey buttery flavor with a hint of cinnamon took it over the top. Plates swapped fast, refills came smooth, and the staff stayed attentive the whole time. Only real downside was near the bathroom, kinda stinky, and the pans looked a little old. Still, the food and vibe made it totally worth it. I'd come back just for that wagyu, it was that good. Thanks for reading be sure to rate! Overall service and food was TOP! However for the price. There are far tastier and cheaper options. As this menu is very confusing and misleading. Could spend more than wanting to as I did.

My sister and I decided to try this place as we'd never been and it is a newer restaurant. We walked in and there was only about a 5 min wait... They just had to get a table ready. Once the table was ready, we got seated and started. The menu is mainly combos, but you can order ala carte. We got the small beef combo which came with brisket(chadol baegi), marinated short rib (galbi), marinated rib eye (bulgogi), beef soon tofu soup, egg souffle, and cheesy corn. It was all amazing. I usually don't like the egg or the corn but it was well seasoned and had a lot of flavor! The meats were also super delicious. The soup had great flavor and just enough spice! We ordered some lettuce, japchae and gyoza as well. The japchae had the perfect blend of seasoning, veggies and meat. It was amazing. Some of the best I've had in AZ. Usually we like most things but there are a few we don't... Not here... My sister and I couldn't decide what to keep eating next because everything was so. Good. The presentation of the meats, banchan, and place setting was also super well done. The servers all share the tables and every single one that came to our table was extremely nice. One gal got us started and chatted with us as she put the meat on. One thing I forgot to mention, they bring some beef Tallow out to get the grill oiled before putting on the food. So good! I will say that when you enter, the smoke from all the grills is very evident in the restaurant. It didn't bother me but I did notice it seemed a bit more than other Korean BBQ places. Another table had a unique thing at their table, so I took a pic. Turns out it was a beer keg! How unique! Overall I highly recommend and want to go back soon!! Way to go!

I wish I had tried this place sooner. Right away we were greeted by friendly staff and sat at a table. It wasn't a weekend though so I'm unsure how busy they can get. We chose the 3 person combo and it was very filling. Maybe not so much if there are heavy eaters in the group but everyone was filled at the end. The meat was so tender I really enjoyed the beef rib the most but all of the options were delicious. This is a pricey restaurant so if you come here, you will be spending 80+$. There were so many tables spread out too so the ambiance was great and we didn't feel too close to other tables.

My first visit here with mom for Mother's Day. The food, atmosphere, and service were all very good. I will note that we took boxes of meat home with us. The combos are a great deal for a larger party but I wish they provided half combos for smaller parties at a lower price point. Overall I recommend for celebrating an event but a bit pricey for every day dining.

We love Korean BBQ and have tried almost every spot in Arizona. This time, we decided to check out Smoking Tiger Korean BBQ, and it didn't disappoint! We got there around 6:30 pm on a Friday night, and luckily, we didn't have to wait for a table. By 7:00 pm, the place was packed, with people waiting at the door. Definitely glad we arrived early! The staff was super helpful and attentive, and the vibe reminded us of Korean BBQ spots in California. We ordered the large Combo C, which was perfect--it had a little bit of everything, so we got to try it all. The food came out quickly, looked super fresh, and was nicely presented. Everything was delicious, and we were stuffed by the end but managed to finish it all. It's a bit of a drive for us, but we'll definitely come back when we're in the area. If you're into Korean BBQ, this spot is worth checking out!

I really liked Smoking Tiger and can't wait to go back! I'd say this is one of the better Korean BBQ restaurants in the area. It might be a little more expensive but it felt open (not crowded like some spots), clean, and the food quality was great. I went with two girl friends and we shared an appetizer and the Combo C platter with soup and rice on the side. This was more than enough food for all of us! The seafood pancake was one of the best that I've had, including ones from South Korea! It was really crispy and had a good ratio of fillings. I am not normally a fan of Korean chili flavor, but I also really enjoyed the beef soon tofu soup. It had great flavor and a bit of a kick. For proteins, if you're looking to try a bit of everything, Combo C was the way to go. Each of us got at least a few bites of brisket, Kalbi, pork belly, shrimp and ribeye; I liked all of these pretty equally! Again, with all the Bonchon, sides and our appetizer, I was full after this!

I absolutely love this place. The staff here is beyond friendly. Every time we come we are greeted warmly. They always offer a little tutorial if you are a Korean BBQ novice. There are plenty of tables for two, so this is perfect for a date night. Our go-to is the Combo C (brisket, short rib, shrimp, bulgogi, pork belly). You will get meat wasted. All combos come with soup, eggs, and a delightful dish of cheese and corn, plus plenty of banchan. They offer a waitlist online, I love that you can check out how busy it is before heading over. We definitely try to go on weeknights at an off time, it can certainly get busy on the weekends.

Bring on the BBQ and try a new to me location! What I ordered: - Baby Back Ribs: very delicious and tender - some of my favorite ribs recently - Green Chili Mac n Cheese: fairly average Mac n Cheese, and something I'd order again as it complimented the ribs - Cowboy Beans (Pinto): not a fan, and I should know better as team baked beans (skip next time) - Green Chili Corn Bread: pretty moist and a good flavor - green chili is a tasty addition - Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding : SKIP THIS ITEM - mushy and ended up putting in the bin I didn't eat all, and had as leftovers the next day. The ribs were surprisingly just as delightful as the first day! This order has intrigued me to take a trip to the establishment to see the ambiance of dining in, and the service the staff provides. Though, Uber Eats did make it convenient and they were exceptionally friendly dropping off. If you are in the mood for BBQ, I recommend Waldo's.

I don't think I've been so obsessed with a food item until now. Just thinking about it now has mouth is watering. The first time I visited was on July 4th, we got there right at opening and the line of service they have going was a well oiled machine. Their setup is a walk in, get in line and order almost similar to Subway, but better tasting. I got a side of Mac and cheese and cornbread (not pictured, I ate it too fast). It's self seating and they had a ton of options! The second time I visited I ordered at the to go window and got the baked potato again. The window service was fast and the wait wasn't long. If you can't find a spot, there is plenty of free street parking and surface lots around. Ambiance (4.5/5): This is a good-looking BBQ joint. Spacious, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, clean, well-maintained, and it gives off a contemporary, country vibe. I sat at a booth. They also have free WiFi which is a nice touch. Service (4/5): You order at the counter, cafeteria-style. While there was a line, I got through it quickly. They had all of the items I wanted, and I didn't run into any issues. No complaints. Drinks (4/5): They have their own beer which is pretty cool. With that being said, I wasn't in the mood to drink so I got one of their homemade lemonades. Free refills. Food (3.5/5): I am most definitely a BBQ snob. I'm from Houston which has some of the best BBQ in the country. As a result, I have high standards. I went with the meat plate which comes with your choice of 2 meats, 1 side, and cornbread. Pickles, onions, several types of BBQ sauce (spicy, regular, and gold), and honey butter are available free of charge in the soft drinks area. I went with brisket, ribs, and mac and cheese. Out of the two meats, the brisket was my favorite. Fatty and moist, easy to cut, this is how you want your brisket. It's what Texas is known for and they do it well here. The ribs, while flavorful, with a nice marinade on them, were quite small. Especially for a BBQ joint. And the mac and cheese was solid though it didn't blow my socks off. An above average meal but relatively small portion size. Usually, at a BBQ spot, you leave stuffed. Here, you'll leave full. The best BBQ I've had in Phoenix is located in Gilbert... but it's not Joe's. That honor goes to Caldwell County BBQ. With that being said, still solid. And another nice thing is that if you come in on your actual birthday (you have to show them your ID), they will give you $15 off.
