Inside - Interior of a casual restaurant with multiple tables and chairs, a wall-mounted TV, and large windows letting in natural light.

Tucked away in a strip mall, this is truly a hidden gem! Their prices are incredibly cheap especially considering the quality and huge portions. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!! We ordered beef chow fun ($12.99) and garlic chicken ($9.99) to go. A very nice young man took our order and I could hear our food being cooked. It was ready in about 5 minutes and I was surprised how heavy our order felt. Beef chow fun was very flavorful with just a hint of sweetness. Beef was tender and I loved the prominent smoky charred taste from the wok. The order of garlic chicken comes with white or fried rice. I chose fried rice and was surprised to find chicken skin, egg and green onions in it unlike most Chinese restaurants just pouring soy sauce on the rice and charging you extra. They also separated the sauce from the chicken so the chicken stayed crispy. Everything tasted so fresh and the portions are huge!! We were stuffed and still have so much left over. Definitely going back to try other dishes as I am so impressed. So glad I finally got to try this place.

Garlic Chicken - incredible - Fried chicken in a plastic container, garnished with chopped green onions and garlic, with a sauce underneath.

When they named this place, they KNEW it was true. It is forreal YUMMY! We were in the area last week, and I was HUNGRY for comfort food after a long, long, draining day of office work. Their menu wasn't very big, it maybe had less than 10 items? We picked Garlic chicken which came with fried rice and Chow Fun for pick up. They are located in the parking lot of Goodwill. When we finally took it home - OMG, it was so good. I think this is our new go-to take out spot. I HIGHLY recommend the garlic chicken!

Every time I visit az I go to yummy box. Food taste like it's homemade. The owners are super nice. They deserve all the business. Come support small business!! 10 dollar meals that are fresh and taste so good. My favorite hainam chicken in az. Amazing wonton soups. I really like the wok flavor in the beef noodles

Price is right I enjoyed the flavor of the beef But I do like a little more spice in the broth I also like a bigger noodles Will try it again for the chicken

To lunch servings for just $20! We couldn't finish it

The food is very tasty and the price is very affordable. Great place to stop by for lunch or dinner if you're too lazy to cook. This is a south serve restaurant

I don't know how this place isn't popular yet. Their prices are cheap for the quality of food offered. How do they even make a profit??? Hainan chicken 5/5. The Hainan chicken for $10 come with chicken-soup-cooked rice and 1/4 of a chicken. The chicken is tender and juicy like free range chicken. I think that's what they use. The ginger fish sauce is also so authentic. I can't believe that the price is that cheap! Hot sour soup 5/5 isn't too hot. But they give you a side of chilly sauce. I added just a bit and the soup turned spicy. The soup was served steamy hot. There are shrimp and beef in the soup. The crunch of whatever the crunch vegetables are and the mushroom provide such intricate texture that isn't just ordinary watery soup. Chow fun - the chow fun portion is huge! The chewy rice noodles with flavorful and tender beef slices provide such authentic chow fun. I'm surprised that despite all menu is in English, and the place looks like it is one of the Asian fusion, many of its dishes are so authentic! Orange chicken and fried rice 5/5 here comes an Asian fusion dish. The orange chicken comes out steamy hot. The chicken is crispy and citrusy. The fried rice's texture is dry, grains don't stick together! The fried rice is amazing for such low key dish. Overall experience with food is unforgettable. I have come here many times. It has been opened for a while maybe 3 years and I am sad there aren't many reviews about the place. Service can be slow and not the best due to its casualness but since it's a family restaurant where the dad is the cook and his kids work in the front, it can be forgivable. They mostly use disposable plates to serve. I have seen the kids work when they were tiny in middle school. Now I come back and they are all grown.

Had a craving for Chinese food and found this quaint hole in the wall restaurant. I looked at the pics that had been posted on Yelp and was so surprised at how large the portions were. The order got done very quickly and we took it to go. Like any to go orders you never know what you're gonna get until you get home. We ordered garlic chicken which to my surprise came with very good fried rice with pieces of fried chicken skin. It was amazing! Also ordered beef chow fun which had very good flavor. I thought the meat was too soft but my boo said it was perfect. I would highly recommend this place considering the quality, amount of food and price point.

Beef Stew Noodle Soup

Authentic Cantonese wonton noodle soup. The wontons were fresh and seemed hand made. The soup had authentic flavor with dried flounder. Beef noodle soup was a little salty. I would avoid it Strange thing is even eating in restaurant, they serve with takeout containers. This place will be my usual go to takeout place!

This is the true definition of mom and pop hidden gem. The food is fresh and incredible. Not your typical Chinese American takeout. They have traditional items such as Hainan chicken and beef stew noodle soup. Tucked away in a busy gilbert area. The prices are amazing, definitely the best bang for your buck and quality in Gilbert.

Quality food and great value. My Chicken fried rice was under $10 and could easily feed 3 people.

Yummy food! Really good sized servings. The seating isn't much to look at, but the takeout containers are cool cause they separate the food.

Included egg drop soup had a nice spice. Egg rolls were Thai sized and style, and crab Rangoon was crisp. Service was very friendly. Restaurant was clean. Plentiful parking. We arrived at 11:40AM and several customers were already eating. Looked like regulars. Odd and fun assortment of items for sale near the entrance. I never considered buying a scuba mask at a restaurant before. Quirky and fun. I'll return in the future and already know which friend I'll invite to join me. Recommended.

My girlfriend suggested this place and oh my gosh, it was a great recommendation! We spoke to the server and her name was actually Simi- her parents own the cafe. She was so personable and told us this restaurant has been in her family for many years! However, the inside of the restaurant does not look like it's been in the family for years as it's very well kept. All three dishes we got here were amazing and quite huge for the price! It's worth sharing with the table to try different dishes! The house pan fried noodles were soo good but it's best you eat them at the restaurant since the crispy noodles will get soggy if you order take-out. They also have an employee who makes pies and they sell them in house. The slices were huge for $7 or so! They had peanut butter chocolate and coconut!

When our grandsons and their Dad came by later that day, I asked them if they were willing to try Vietnamese food. We gave them a description as to what Pho was and let them know that there were other items on the menu besides Pho. They all were willing to give it a try. One grandson didn't come along as he has a part-time job and had to work that day. Once we all entered the restaurant, we were greeted and seated. I ordered my usual Pho Ga and my husband plus our son-in-law also had the same thing. One grandson ordered a Pho that had beef in it. The other grandson isn't a fan of soups so he ordered a fried rice and chicken meal. The Pho portion was very generous and the aromatics were fresh. Everyone who had Pho enjoyed their meal. Our grandson, who got the chicken and fried rice, liked his meal. The ambiance is that of a casual place with some artwork on the walls. If we lived nearby, we would gladly go here again. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

The next time we stopped by we came here because it was the only place that stayed open a bit later than other spots. Our pho, thai tea, & black tea were good but for some reason our appetizers (wontons & egg rolls) were way too greasy and not very flavorful.

My only caveat -- and it's a small one -- is the rolling cart used to collect dishes in the dining room. That said, this didn't detract from the great food or service, and I would absolutely return, and recommend this place.

I got chicken cause that's traditional for Pho Ga. It was pretty good but not the most flavorful. The noodles were also a little overcooked. There was almost an entire chicken breast in it, I could barely finish it. Overall it was good but could use some tweaking in the chicken broth. Bun rieu - My son liked it, ate the whole thing up. No complaints. Short rib pho - So much meat, the ribs were flavorful and tender, the broth was a little greasy and did not taste super fresh but overall my husband was still satisfied. I also got the Vietnamese ice coffee with condensed milk on the side. It was strong, delicious and traditional. There is plenty of seating and the restaurant is clean. If craving pho in Chandler, this place does the job.

Our tab had an auto 20% gratuity already added on to it. But when I was paying I wasn't aware and made a comment regarding the selections for tipping percentage on the iPad being low. Our server, I believe whose name is Thuy, heard the comment but don't say anything so I assumed tipping wasn't added and tipped 20% on top of that. Once the transaction is done, I wasn't asked if I want the receipt and he quickly tapped on "no receipt" for me. ‍‍ I later found out we tipped closed to 50 percent of the tab, which I have no problem with if it was great service. But all of these seem sneaky if not deceptive. Not sure if it's individual doing or the typical practice of this restaurant, but it was my first time here and sure won't be back. My aunt was served a bowl that was dirty on the outside (yes... the bowl, not just the table -- see the photo I attached). Not exactly appetizing... and she didn't eat it at all, it was completely untouched. We told the staff immediately, and instead of, I don't know.. like maybe apologizing or replacing it like a normal restaurant?.. They basically said it was our fault and still charged us for the untouched dish. So just to confirm: you can serve dirty dishes and still get paid? That is a interesting business model, I've never seen anything like it! Then they hit us with a 20% service fee, which is honestly kind of iconic considering the service was: * ignoring customers * denying what we clearly told them * and charging us anyway Like... thank you for the experience I guess??? And to top it off, after I actually ate there, I had the worst stomach ache and diarrhea. So NOT only do you pay for food you don't eat, you might also leave with a free health issue! LOVE THAT!!! As someone who is Vietnamese, this was just embarrassing. You expect better standards, better hospitality, and at the very least... clean bowls??? Overall, if you enjoy paying for untouched food, being gaslit, and risking your stomach, this is your place. Otherwise, I'd look for somewhere else to eat.

I also noticed they add a lot of noodles which I love but I also wish they added more broth. The meat is also very tender, I always go with the brisket and it always tastes great. I personally like my soup to have extra green onion, unfortunately if you do ask for extra there is a charge of $2. I also recommend the egg rolls, they're packed with flavor and honestly it's just a good appetizer to have before your pho. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very spacious. Every time I've gone there's never any wait. The service has also been great, I've had maybe 1 time where it wasn't as great but it was still good. The food always comes out fresh and very hot. Overall, I love this restaurant so much and I will continue coming back!
