I have been here so many times and I swore I wrote a review! My favorite (and only) place to get Vietnamese food that's delicious! Service is super friendly and there are plenty of tables inside for small or large parties. We always get the fried tofu, spring rolls and egg rolls. The house crispy chicken is great. We love the sauce that comes with it. The beef chow fun or chicken and vegetable with egg noodles are our usuals for the kids. Recently, our new favorite is the fish filet with tamarind sauce. So good! Highly recommend it!

Bun with grilled pork and egg rolls

Every now and then you get a dining experience that exceeds your already high expectations, and one Sunday in October, this was ours. The crispy chicken entree was popping with flavor. I didn't think I could love the deep flavor of flame broiled chicken skin any more than I already did, but Saigon Pho showed the possibilities. The spring roll with shrimp was fresh, but do not recommend taking home for a next day snack, as the wrapping gets rubbery in the fridge overnight. The bun with grilled pork and.egg roll was fresh tasting and satisfying... but it ain't about that left-over life either. There rave-worthy fish was the chicken curry pho, with broth so scrumptious, I finished all the broth straight from the bowl. The steak on the beef chow fun was wonderfully thin spiced and tender. Fantastic fresh, but once again, not for reheating, unless you enjoy noodles that glob. Killer Vietnamese restaurant, fresh ingredients, consume while hot!

This place is a staple in our home. Every time we're craving something welcoming and warm this is our go to place. Owner is on top of everything, very kind and friendly. Food is always amazing and service is so quick. You get so much food at high-quality for a great price.

#24 Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio (Grilled pork and spring roll noodles), $14.

Q: What's the WiFi password at a Vietnamese noodle shop? A: 123pho5 Writing this on August 22nd, ten years after my first review of this place. Check me out with my updated review. This will also be my 100th review for the year. Look at those synchronicities! I heard Saigon Pho & Seafood is under new ownership. While it still looks very much the same, and they still speak Cantonese here, the food quality is slightly better. Is this going to be my new favorite Vietnamese food spot? No way. Am I going to dig my heels as firmly when being invited here? Probably not. I got their #24 Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio (Grilled Pork and Spring Roll with Noodles) on my most recent visit and I was happy. For $14, it wasn't the biggest portion but it was the perfect portion for me. I even finished my whole bowl which isn't a normal thing for me. I've had their beef stew and pho in prior visits but I think the thing to get here is the bun. I do find myself eyeing their beef chow fun, the sweet & sour fish, and their crispy duck. It's a solid spot and I'm glad to have finally pop back into this neighborhood spot after so many years. Come here and support local!

Alice's beautiful birthday party! A wonderful time was had by all. Happy birthday, Alice!

The food was authentic and delicious! The service was fast and they recommended the best fishes for us to enjoy. The place is busy but everyone is joyful and enjoying themselves. Congratulations to the owners! This is a gem of a find

Their pho soup always tastes good to me, especially during cold weather. You also get the bean sprouts and Thai basil with it. There is also a couple slices of jalapeno. There are sauce bottles on the table like Sriracha. Their chicken can be a little dry, but I guess that's better than it being undercooked. I think their rice tastes great. The rice is not undercooked or dry. They have lots of different items to select on the menu. The owner is nice. I think he's the owner. It can get noisy inside when they are packed with people.

Great place to stop by if you are craving Vietnamese and Chinese food! They have lots of options on the menu with reasonable pricing. Pho Tai (Fresh Sliced Beef Rice Noddle Soup) was good and I liked the flavoring of the broth. Bun Bo Hue (Hue Style Beef with Rice Noodles) was okay. It wasn't spicy and not the biggest fan of the meatball they have. They gave a good amount of noodles. Minced Pork with String Beans was my favorite!! It was so flavorful and perfect with rice. The staff were super nice and attentive! They have lots of seating areas. You are able to bring big parties.

Salt and Pepper Fish

We are hooked to this place by their Salt and Pepper Fish and other favorites, AND by the warm and friendly service by Steven and Fung. Whaaat?!--warm & friendly service in a mom & pops Asian restaurant?! YES!! We've only been here 3X and have always enjoyed everything we've had - thanks to Steven's great recommendations! We often come here mid-day after pickleball at the gym and enjoy super casual dining as we devour each dish until all plates are spic n' span clean. We notice the smiles on Steven and Fung when they see us devour every morsel on our plates as they refill our water glasses time and time again. We love that this place is so casual, it feels like eating at grandma's--always welcoming, accommodating, and so satisfying.

Great Viet food in the middle of town! Pros: -quick service and easy come and go. -flavors are great -prices are good -they also have Chinese cuisine if you're craving that Cons: -parking lot is dark and it's not a very busy area.

House special fried rice
Alice K.

One of the best house special fried rice there is in Phoenix area. The fried rice is very flavorful and it includes Chinese sausage and shrimp! The ambience is very family vibe and very cozy. I also enjoyed the beef ball pho, it really a comfort food for me. Service is pretty good and the food comes out pretty quick.

Kristen L.

We had the beef pho with just sliced beef. It came with rice noodles inside. It also came with a small plate that had bean sprouts, jalapeño slices, a lemon slice, and Thai basil in case you did or did not want to add them to your soup. There were three sauces on the table that you could use to make your own dipping sauce for the beef slices. I think one of them was chili, one was soy sauce, and one was hoisin sauce. The soup came out hot, which was good. We also had the crispy basil chicken. I thought it would have a stronger basil flavor. My companion said that it tasted a little like orange chicken. It was crispy at first but due to the sauce quickly became not as crispy. It also came out hot, which was good. I like that the chunks of chicken were still a little moist and came out a pretty good size. The lemon grass chicken comes out really thin. It came with a plate of rice. The service was quick and the food came out fast. I think we arrived just after the lunch rush as many of the tables still had plates on them. If you call ahead, they have a voice recording stating that they are closed around the new year. There is plenty of parking in the plaza as the two restaurants next to them on their left and right are closed down.

My only caveat -- and it's a small one -- is the rolling cart used to collect dishes in the dining room. While efficient table clearing is important, the exterior of the cart and tubs should be spotless, since they're moving through the dining area while people are actively eating. That said, this didn't detract from the great food or service, and I would absolutely return, and recommend this place.

I got chicken cause that's traditional for Pho Ga. It was pretty good but not the most flavorful. The noodles were also a little overcooked. There was almost an entire chicken breast in it, I could barely finish it. Overall it was good but could use some tweaking in the chicken broth. Bun rieu - My son liked it, ate the whole thing up. No complaints. Short rib pho - So much meat, the ribs were flavorful and tender, the broth was a little greasy and did not taste super fresh but overall my husband was still satisfied. I also got the Vietnamese ice coffee with condensed milk on the side. It was strong, delicious and traditional. There is plenty of seating and the restaurant is clean. If craving pho in Chandler, this place does the job.

Amazing pho with homemade broth and 2 types of noodles…read more We came on a Sunday morning. At this restaurant, you order before you sit down. Pho with rare steak: (5/5) Comes with the option of thick or thin noodles. We tried both of them, and I prefer the thick noodles. Came with noodles, homemade broth (most pho restaurants use a standard MSG broth, but not this one), rare steak, onions, mint leaves, bean sprouts, a lemon wedge, and jalapeños. The beef was very tender and flavorful, it was not chewy or dry at all. The broth tasted much better than other broths, but I'm not too sure what is in it. All other ingredients were fresh. Service: (3/5) You order before you sit yourself at a table. You get your own water. They do bring the food to your table though. Ambiance: (2.5/5) The restaurant is a little bit cramped and the tables are mismatched. It can also get very busy but they also have outside seating. Overall I would recommend the pho here just remember that it's mostly self serve and the broth is very good.

Fairly busy, but there were plenty of tables left. Ordered at the counter and sat at our table. Food came out much quicker than I expected. I also ordered a couple Banh Mi Thit Nuong to go. Pho was delicious with a deep flavorful broth, perfect noodles, and plenty of good choice protein. Bo Ne sizzling filet mignon platter was decent, grilled pork rice plate was tasty, and the grilled pork sandwiches left me craving more. Friendly staff and great food. Will definitely be coming back. Wish I lived closer.

On my first visit to La Sen, I ordered the Bún Riêu ($13.99 - Crab Noodle Soup), an order of Gỏi Cuốn Tôm Thịt ($6.50 - Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls), and a Cà Phê Dừa (Vietnamese coconut coffee). It was decent. Their bún riêu wasn't strongest in terms of flavor so that was a let down. I did enjoy the spring rolls though (how can you go wrong with spring rolls?) and the Vietnamese coconut coffee was refreshing. It's a beautiful clean space with ample seating. The afternoon we were there, there was only one server so the wait time wasn't ideal but easily forgivable. While not a bad place for a meal, I don't think I would go out of my way to come back.

Lowlights: We had terrible service when we came, even though there weren't a lot of customers. I went with a party of four and we ordered two bowls of pho and two bowls of bun bo hue and after a crazy long wait, somehow the server only brought out three of the four bowls. We waited a really long time for the last bowl before asking the server if it was coming and she said the kitchen was still working on it. I don't know why they would serve food like this. There were only three other tables of single diners, eating at the same time as us and the other people all finished their meals before we got our last bowl. Huge pet peeve of mine is when the staff doesn't clean up the dirty plates after customers leave. To top it off, since it was a modern looking restaurant, the prices are higher and they give less sides like mint leaves and bean sprouts. I personally won't be coming back.

In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised by their growing menu and their willingness to better themselves by listening to Yelp feedback. You can really feel the spirit of home-cooking and the cozy atmosphere of a locally owned restaurant here. In the best way possible, service hasn't changed - it's still the same friendly owner greeting you with a smile and overall cheerful attitude. You can tell that they are actively growing as a restaurant and I can't help but want to cheer them on! Today, I had their banh mi pho with a side of Chinese donuts to dip into the pho broth. Absolutely delicious and great concept. My constructive feedback is if they can dial in their pho broth (which I already enjoy) to have more in-depth bone broth/spice flavor and less reliance on maybe the salty aspect. I'm excited to see the future of this establishment,

I really wanted to like this spot, especially as a fan of a well-balanced bánh mì. The sandwich was generous and good value, loaded with meat, but the execution didn't quite come together. The vegetables were tucked toward the back of the bun, making it hard to enjoy that classic balance in each bite. The mayo was far too heavy and the meat leaned overly sweet, which threw off the overall flavor. It also could have used more jalapeños and cilantro to bring some freshness and contrast. The bread was crispy, which was nice, but it was much larger in size and shape than a traditional baguette, leaning more toward a big roll than that light, airy texture you'd expect. Overall, good value but missed the mark on balance and authenticity for me. Saluti.

Not exactly appetizing... and she didn't eat it at all, it was completely untouched. They basically said it was our fault and still charged us for the untouched dish. So just to confirm: you can serve dirty dishes and still get paid? That is a interesting business model, I've never seen anything like it! Then they hit us with a 20% service fee, which is honestly kind of iconic considering the service was: * ignoring customers * denying what we clearly told them * and charging us anyway Like... thank you for the experience I guess??? And to top it off, after I actually ate there, I had the worst stomach ache and diarrhea. So NOT only do you pay for food you don't eat, you might also leave with a free health issue! LOVE THAT!!! As someone who is Vietnamese, this was just embarrassing. You expect better standards, better hospitality, and at the very least... clean bowls??? Overall, if you enjoy paying for untouched food, being gaslit, and risking your stomach, this is your place. Otherwise, I'd look for somewhere else to eat.

I also noticed they add a lot of noodles which I love but I also wish they added more broth. The meat is also very tender, I always go with the brisket and it always tastes great. I personally like my soup to have extra green onion, unfortunately if you do ask for extra there is a charge of $2. I also recommend the egg rolls, they're packed with flavor and honestly it's just a good appetizer to have before your pho. The restaurant itself is beautiful and very spacious.
