As a plus, they were open on Easter Sunday so off I went with my Wife and baby. We were the only ones for a long time. They had a wall where apparently some customers could draw on it? Bizarre but I guess they're going for "youth". Service was fine...they had some college kids there but they did well. My Pho was fine, good broth, hot broth. It's what you'd expect at a Vietnamese restaurant. My wife ordered some veggie dumplings and they were exactly the same as the frozen dumplings we buy from the asian supermarket. This place was good! It's located in Harmon Ranch Shopping Center and there was a shaded area to sit outside. My friend and I met up here for lunch around 12 on a Wednesday. It wasn't too busy, lots of available indoor seating. I really loved the chalk board in the back with all of the interesting photos drawn on it! I ordered the chicken pho and it was pretty good. I am disappointed that the quality of the food is no longer the same. This is the second time I order one of my favorite dishes and it's slathered with too many big chunks of garlic. Today, I kindly asked the server if he can please ask the kitchen if they can ease off of adding too much garlic. He said sure, it's not a problem. We tried to place a big order for Mother's Day again this year and discovered they no longer had all the gluten free options we enjoyed a year ago. Came for a family meal of pho and had a delicious meal. My husband and I both got the brisket pho and enjoyed it; kids loved their chicken and rice meal. The staff was kind and food came out fast despite it being a busy evening. The decor is cute! I was out doing errands and needed some food so I stopped in here to give it a try. It was early evening, so only two other tables eating here. The restaurant was nice and quiet and if you dine in, it's a fast casual place with wait service. Service was quick and friendly! I wanted to eat some veggies so I ordered the papaya salad and as a guilty pleasure, I ordered the truffle fries with homemade jalapeño sauce on the side. Both dishes were great! Papaya salad was well seasoned and the papaya was marinated well. I wasn't expecting to order truffle fries in an Asian spot, but to my surprise, it was very good and the jalapeño sauce was very good and normally I don't like like any kind of white sauces. I was greeted by both servers as soon as I entered. It's a sit down restaurant and when I was there some 90's music was playing. It wasn't too loud and I like the 90's. The server answered all of my parties questions about the menu in a friendly way. I don't normally enjoy Vietnamese food, but they're doing something right here. To get me to enjoy Pho is a challenge. I got the Pho House Special. From the vegetables to the meat it was all delicious. Everything seemed reasonably priced for what you get and tastes good. We like coming here for the pho noodles and vermicelli. The best thing on their menu is the fried tofu! The veggies are fresh and the soup broth is pretty good! Looking for new place to try I came across this place. I thought the name was funny and had good reviews. Restaurant was clean, cozy and fun. I was greater by really friendly waitress with a big smile. Kind of smile that makes you feel like she's been dying for you to come and that she is happy that you made it. The prices on the menu was very reasonable. Not overly priced. Ordered Goi Cuon for starter and decided to try the spicy beef noodle bowl. I must say it was the fattest Goi Cuon I've ever seen at a restaurant and it was one of the better ones I've tried. The spicy beef noodle was a good size. I just wish it had little more noodles. Only complain I have about the dish is that fish sauce was very over powering. I don't know if they accidentally put too much or that's how it comes. I am not the biggest fish sauce fan. But over all broth was nice and clean tasting. Over all both dishes were very yummy. I also noticed the waitress "Dominique" remembered the orders for few of the customers that came in. I had a nice time trying Fu Belly this past weekend. If there's an opportunity to eat some good Asian food, I'm going to take it. The first positive was the panda bears that I saw as part of their branding and decor. I love pandas! Now for the food, we got some spring rolls for an appetizer and they were delicious, fried perfectly, and flavorful. I ended up getting the wonton soup and my boyfriend got the chicken pad Thai. My wonton soup had shrimp wontons that were noticeably more high quality than other varieties I've tried. I loved it. The pad Thai was also more high quality and authentic than some other varieties I've tried in the past. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly! In the area at nearby Pickle Kingdom, I knew that my family needed to eat before all of us got hangry... I found that Fu Belly was still open and called to order take-out. The staff was super helpful on the phone as I figured out my order of spring rolls with tofu, spring rolls with shrimp, fried rice with chicken and a kids rice bowl with chicken. I picked it up 15 mins later and brought it home... Not only was the meal priced well for what we had, but everyone liked it too! The above fed our family of four and we even had a bit leftover. I left the restaurant hungry because all I got was 5 small pieces of tough chicken, undercooked onions and peppers, and a huge ball of awful tasting rice. Ordered the Garlic Parmesan Noodles with the Shaken Beef (as others have raved about). The Shaken Beef came with plenty of steamed vegetables. The meat was very tender and flavorful. Since we ordered to-go, the container of shredded parmesan cheese was packaged inside the container of hot noodles which made the cheese melt and clump together. Trying to pry apart the resulting block of parmesan was not pleasant, so the staff could be a little more thoughtful when packaging orders like mine. Had lunch there today and it was a horrible experience. The Pho...amazing. Fried rice...ok. Chow mein...disgusting. Sweet lady brought out the chow mein and set it on the table. My husband looked at it and said, "that's a really small portion". I took a bite of the noodles and the sauce was like a cheap teriyaki sauce. Had a bite of the chicken that was gross and ate a whole piece of boy choy. I couldn't stomach it, it was pretty awful. I asked the waiter to take it away. I could overhear him talking about me saying that if someone doesn't like something they shouldn't continue to eat it. I didn't...I tried it and was done. I asked for the bill and they charged for the chow mein that I literally took 3 bites of. I questioned the waiter and he said I touched it and ate half so I have to pay for it. Half?!?! Maybe if he was the one who served it to me and he could have seen what I was given to begin with, he would have realized I only took a few bites. I've never felt so embarrassed and to accuse me of lying is what really upset me. I was so upset that I had to ask the other waiter if they had cameras to see that I barely even touched my food.
