Happy Jade was a great choice. I was in the mood for Singapore rice noodles and ordered an order for pickup, and it did not disappoint. The noodles were really good and the portion size was huge. Easily enough for leftovers. The flavor was on point with a nice level of spice, and it was not overwhelmed by that strong yellow curry taste that some places go too heavy on. Everything tasted well balanced and cooked right. Since I ordered pickup, I cannot really speak on the dine in experience, but the food was ready and packaged well. If you are craving Singapore rice noodles, Happy Jade is definitely worth it. I will absolutely be ordering from here again. read more

We have driven past this place many times and finally decided to try it. It doesn't look great from the outside and not much better on the inside, but these places sometimes have the best food. We ordered takeout online and had to wait a few minutes for it to be done when I got there. This was no biggie as I knew it would be fresh. A few minutes later, I had my order and was on my way. We ordered two egg rolls, wonton soup, Mongolian chicken, and Kung pao chicken. On my way home, the food smelled so good! When I got home, we opened the food and discovered they gave us Mongolian beef instead of chicken. We were a little disappointed about that. Nevertheless, the flavors were on point! The Kung Pao chicken could have been a little spicier but it was really good. The wonton soup was good and had some veggies in it. We got fried rice for one of the dishes, and it was the least flavorful thing we had. Even though we were given the wrong meat in one of the dishes, I would order their food again based on the great flavor. Got my order delivered quickly. Unfortunately, the sauce was spilled all over inside making everything nasty. The soup was good (wor wonton and egg drop) as was my Beijing beef. But my wife's Mongolian had too much onion to other ingredients. My son's chicken fried rice had five pieces of chicken and he said it tasted boiled and bland. This is my go-to Chinese takeout spot. It's a very small space, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend dining in, but for takeout, it's on-point. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff is super polite. The veggies and tofu are cooked to crisp perfection, and the dishes can be ordered to your spice preference. My orders are always ready really fast, and the food is always hot when I pick it up. We've passed by this spot several times and finally decided to give it a try. I ordered the Orange Chicken with a side of Lo Mein. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size of the Orange Chicken. The meat itself was delicious and I would return to try the other meats on the menu. As for the side, it was lacking a bit. The Lo Mein serving was pretty small, which this alone was okay but the noodle itself wasn't the best and it had a heavy garlic flavor, I personally like garlic but it was a little too much. I wanted to try this place because I saw there were good reviews and they had lunch specials. Plus super convenient location less than 5 min from my job. I ended up getting stuff off the regular menu. I didn't pay too close attention to the portion sizes mentioned in the reviews. If you opt for meals they are largely portioned. Perfect for family dinners to order a few entrees and split in my opinion. Pictured here is Singapore noodles with pork and shrimp, SMALL side of egg fried rice and SMALL Hot N Sour soup!!! If Panda Express was actually ethnic FANTASTIC, FLAVORFUL and FILLING! Three fs that I don't say a lot! There are SO many options, but I went with my classic Orange chicken! Each FULL entree is sold with white rice and I ordered a chow main which came with your choice of protein or veggie. All for $25 I was disappointed that I Didn't see the dinner specials which would've gotten me a little bit more for my money even if it was half entrees! Warning: I've been sick for 24 hours after eating here. Yesterday was my first time here, and it was a terrible experience. Just a heads up to others -- pay close attention when you order. I came in at 3:20 PM and the menu clearly stated lunch specials run until 3:30, yet the employee told me it was already too late. I had to show her the menu and the time on my phone before they honored the lunch price. Even then, the portion I received was noticeably very small. The food was absolutely disgusting. There was barely any beef at all, and what little was there looked gray and old. The fried rice tasted like old clumped-up rice mixed with some slightly newer rice, but honestly it was all nasty and inedible. The egg and rice were completely gross. I only ate a few bites before throwing it away, and I ended up with food poisoning. I never write negative reviews, but I felt it was important to share this as a warning to others. read more

He told us to pick a table and he brought us water right away and the menus. We ordered one Thai tea, one large chicken noodle soup, one happy family, one shrimp with vegetables, and one chicken chow mein. The wait wasn't bad and the soup came out right away. The soup was delicious. It had noodles, chicken, cabbage, and broccoli. We shared it and it was enough for three. Our entrees were greaaaatt. They were flavorful, hot, and decently sized. We ordered three main dishes which we shared and they came with white rice. We even had leftover for today, yay! Service was great and he was very attentive. Well, this place has potential. The flavor of their food is good. I've given this place a few chances since it's near my place and sometimes I don't feel like driving far get a meal. I do feel like they cut corners in quality and the portions are very deceiving. Last time, I ordered I thought I was getting a decent food portion. I ordered delivery from this place. I had Kung Pao Chicken and House Fried Rice. I've had better and I've had worse. The thing I didn't like was the styrofoam containers it came in. The Kung Pao Chicken was on top and leaked all over the other food. It was a mess. Styrofoam is useless as far as I'm concerned. You can't reheat leftovers in it without it melting and it's not even recyclable. To me it's a signal that you're trying to cut costs, and it results in a bad customer experience. Level up on your to-go packaging and raise your prices to compensate. This is America. We pay for quality and don't complain about it. read more

Most amazing orange chicken i have ever ate in my 22 years of life. The owner Ken is extremely welcoming and kind, he explained how all the food they make was home made and from scratch, no frozen stuff at all. He proved this with the meal that was served and man when I tell you it was amazing, it was AMAZING! Also it felt so homey in there as well, it's small but feels cozy. We came here after passing by one day and looking at the menu online. We got the sesame chicken dinner combo, a happy family, and a small egg drop and small seafood wonton soup. The meal was hot and fresh with some good tasty flavors. My only issue was the broccoli was too crunchy for me (soup and happy family). Other than that, the meats were cooked perfectly and seemed to be qualify meat. The sauce wasn't too thin or too thick which was perfect for me. The soups were both good although the seafood wonton soup didn't have more than one shrimp in it. I wouldn't get this soup again. I use to go here when it was The House of Eggroll. It was my favorite and seems to not have changed since the name change. I think it is different management but staff is super friendly. I wish they had their own delivery person. I would order more often if so. Sweet and Sour Beef and the pork egg rolls are my favorites. Update: I'm changing my review from a few days ago. I asked to have the Sweet and Sour Beef and the chef won't make it anymore. What? How hard is it to put sweet and sour on beef. Plus it was delicious. Super happy with my order. Was especially intrigued with the reviewers who kept calling this NY style takeout (or the closest thing to it they could find here). As an AZ native, I have no idea what NY style chinese takeout is. I guess it is a difference in flavors. There were other reviewers that said this place has a lot of flavor too. They also were not wrong. I ordered the chicken and vegetables ("spicy, please"), the fried rice, and an egg roll. The fried rice didn't come with the usual peas and carrots I'm used to (as a hick Arizonan I guess lol) but it was still excellent flavor. The chicken and vegetables ("spicy please") were fantastic too. Not as spicy as I'd hoped but they heard me and added some spice... at least a single chili pepper of it anyway. It had a wee bit of burn. My fav part of the meal though... definitely the egg roll. That thing was soooooo crispy! And it had the faintest flavor of spicy mustard. Not at all enough to shoot through my nasal passageways like a full on "hit" of spicy mustard does but definitely enough to make me mow that thing down and wish I had ordered a whole plate of 'em. It was soo good. I'll definitely be ordering form here again and trying more items on the menu (looking at you hot n sour soup, egg drop, wonton, kung pao, lo mein, bbq slice pork, pot stickers, egg foo's).
