Chen's is our goto Chinese restaurant near our house. We get takeout here regularly. The staff is always super friendly and very fast. Usually takes about 15 minutes for our food to be ready. The restaurant has a classic American Chinese food feel to it. Food is always delicious. Wonton soup is my wife's favorite. I love the orange beef and chicken chow mein.

A very unfriendly Chinese woman controls the counter and doesn't really seem like she wants you there. After eating the food, i don't want to be there either. First off, the soda was flat. The sesame chicken was drowning in a tasteless soy colored sauce and the pieces of chicken were too big and chewy. I got brown rice instead of egg fried rice and the egg roll was cold. 24 years of bad food and service here.

My son wanted some Chinese food yesterday while we were in between sports so we saw Chen on the way and stopped by. He had orange chicken and I had a cup of egg drop soup and shrimp with lobster sauce. It was pretty good. The Food is served in pretty plates (China) which I thought it was nice touch too. The portions are big so we have left overs each for probably two meals but we also normally don't eat a lot in one sitting. Still found the portions very generous/huge. The egg drop soup was good too but I think I needed a bit of soy sauce, which I didn't ask nor was offered. Service was quick and they weren't too busy. It met our needs for quick service and simple but good Chinese food.

Local family owned Chinese restaurant, good food and generous portion sizes. The place is clean and the food came to the table quickly. Overall I'm happy with my experience, we always get the food to go. some of my favorites are the lo mein, pepper chicken, egg rolls and wontons. Cheers!

Good service and food was super delicious and fresh. Definitely worth stopping by if you are in the area!!

Sweet n Sour Chicken (They give you alot) sadly, I didn't eat it all after eating my small bowl of it.

Food was edible but the taste of the beef was low quality and was slightly slimy and tasted boiled in the Mongolian beef. Very disappointed.

This was my first time here and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place. If you are a fan of pandas, you would love the decor here because they have everything imaginable that is panda based. And every so often the musical entertainer puts on a panda mask and sings for the crowd. Tonight was not one of those nights that we got to see her wear the panda mask however she did entertain us with many classic hits from Barbra Streisand, Carole King, Liza Minnelli, and many other popular standards that you have all come to love and enjoy throughout the years. She also gave us a bonus treat in having her niece Jennifer come up and sing a couple of 70s disco hits for us. As busy as the night was the service was pretty good and we were pleased. There were 24 of us in our group and we each got waited on without most respect and happiness. I ordered the chicken lo mein and really enjoyed it. That is usually my go to for most Chinese/Asian restaurants. I will have to come in on a day off and try their lunch special because it is reasonably priced whereas the dinner prices are more. TIP: they include your gratuity (tip) in on the price of your bill so you don't have to try and figure out what to tip the wait staff. There is also a separate tip jar for the entertainer. I will be back again as I said to try the lunch special and maybe a special night out again. This was fun and a great way to and a Friday eve (Thursday).

I went with the lunch special, but was surprised to learn that the soup wasn't available for takeout--I had to eat it on the spot inside the restaurant. While the food was enjoyable overall, especially the hot and sour soup, I had to rush through it since my main order was already packed and ready to go. The owners appeared rather distant and not very engaging--almost robotic in their interaction. While there's nothing major to complain about, I would suggest that in a service-oriented industry like this, a bit more warmth and attentiveness toward customers would go a long way. The ambiance was just ok.

Four of us came here recently to celebrate my mom's birthday. Salt & pepper calamari, beef chow fun, spicy shrimp hot pot, and some kind of pork kidney dish was ordered. I've been here once before but I forgot how good the salt & pepper calamari was. The beef chow fun was also amazing. They cook was gas and wok here so you know that "wok hei" is on point here. You can never make chow fun or fried rice with the same smoky flavor with electric. I will say that the peppercorns here aren't tongue numbing. I like this place though. I can't believe I forgot about them until now.

Sticky rice was pretty tasty with a lot of chicken. The shrimp dumplings were not very fresh but fine for a quick dim sum. They even have happy hour from 2pm - 7pm and the selected dim sum is only $3.99. Everyone I've encountered here has been very kind. It's a good spot to grab some fast Chinese food after shopping.

The peanuts were fresh and more like a topping, not soggy and cooked into the dish. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly, not soggy at all. The fried rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked. I barely ate 1/4 of my plate, because I got full off the yummy wontons and potstickers. The staff were intent on serving your drinks and food promptly and swiftly. Clearly I wasn't going to finish my plate. I was presented with a to-go box and offered a to-go drink as well. The restaurant is clean and has booths or big tables to eat with your family. I will definitely come back. This is the healthiest, most delicious food money can buy for about $10/dish.

A couple other things I've tried and would repeat are the teriyaki chicken and the cream cheese puffs. On the other hand I've had better chicken potstickers, and the walnut shrimp was terrible (thankfully for me, not my order; unfortunately for my family members, they thought the same). I would not recommend it because it was extremely sweet. It was almost like syrup. And there was no spice whatsoever. Something else may speak to me, but I'm still looking for a good quick Chinese restaurant in the desert.
