Just moved to Arizona and was looking to try a local Chinese spot--Iron Chef was such an amazing surprise. The food was way better than I expected. The Mongolian Beef was the best I've ever had, and the General Tso's chicken was absolutely fire. The meat and veggies were super fresh, and the portions for both dishes and rice were huge. Insane value for the price. The staff was incredibly patient and thoughtful. Since my kid can't have gluten, they recommended the Singapore Mai Fun and took extra care with prepping the meat and seasonings. Reliability good Chinese food. Good staff, quick service. There are two tables there, but I've never seen anyone sit at the tables to eat. Sauces are on a sideboard, so don't forget to pick up whichever sauces you need. If you don't eat rice, remember to tell them No Rice or you'll automatically get it with your food. Two stars because SOMETIMES its good. But most of the times recently it has been horrible! We normally order from Postmates or UberEats; and their food quality is much better when delivered. The wonton's in the soup are typically good but the broth is very greasy. The dumplings are lacking meat, and of you get them steamed; they're super gooey but fried is too dry. The noodles... ohhh grosss the noodles... the chow mein noodles are not memorable, and the chow fun noodles (wide) were all glue together, flavorless, and overcooked. Tasted old. Solid no. The eggrolls are greasier than average, not fully stuffed, whatever stuffing there is tastes old as well. Their fried rice is served to a minimum amount. Wow! This is by far the best Chinese food we've ever had in Gilbert. We were picking up and the place was very quick/seemed clean. The Crab Rangoons were the best I've had in a long ass time. The BBQ Spare Ribs? Delicious. My General Tsos Chicken was a bit soggy (likely due to it being takeout), but the flavor was excellent. The chicken and green beans were sooooooo good. Our local go to Chinese food place. Easy to order online and never had an issue with getting exactly what we ordered. We come here for take out at least monthly Authentic Chinese food with quality ingredients Menu has lots to choose from. We haven't needed to stray away from our staple go tos for the most part. Boneless BBQ pork, won ton soup, kungpao chicken, moo gai pan, and beef with broccoli. Never disappointed and we always have plenty for left overs. read more

Not as good as it used to be. Called for take out around 4pm and order was taken quickly, not very friendly. Picked up meal and headed home. The breading on the chicken was mushy and the chicken was very dense tasting. Did not taste fresh. Definitely better options in the area for General Tsos chicken. read more

To all of the vegans out there, this may not be a place for us. I ordered the Ma-po tofu Szechuan style, which is not good. I had to throw it away. Made with what I assume was steamed too, and they mixed it with stew like vegetables of peas and small tiny cubed pieces of carrots and mushrooms. In addition, I ordered the vegetable spring rolls that had this mushy jelly type of stuff with what appeared to be chopped vegetables. Threw these away as well. read more

Presented very well, good portion of meat with 2 broccoli crowns. I had the fried rice, you can choose that or either white/ brown rice is offered. Unfortunately, the broccoli was cold. The rice was bland and not to a standard serving temp. The chicken was battered and fried, but a little over cooked in my opinion, it was the hottest item (temp wise) on the plate. The sauce was flavorful. Could taste the fresh garlic & green onion. My friends has the Kung Pao Chicken. That was a little disappointing! Chicken chunks aren't breaded and or tempura fried. Sauce is nothing special it's what they refer to as a gravy? Both friends opted for vegetables instead of rice. Dishes had chopped celery, cube carrots, baby corn & peanuts. "That's it"! Would have been better with other options: like broccoli, bok choy, sprouts, onion. "You know, like the standard stir fry has"! Prices reasonable! NO Restrooms! ALL utensils in plastic bins near the back of a booth. Along with all packet condiments, napkins & fortune cookies. The veggies served with this dish is cooked perfectly and not over cooked like some other Chinese food places. The fried rice with veggies and chicken was great also.
