We had never been here before and we were so pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was!! We felt that the amount of food for the price was generous and we had enough to bring home for a whole other meal. My husband had the 1/2 roast duck and was raving. He was going to save some to take home but ended up finishing it off before we left. He couldn't get enough. I had the orange chicken and I have to say, I have never had orange chicken as delicious as this one. It was thin chicken pieces with the perfect crispness from being fried and the sauce wasn't super sticky and gooey, it was excellent and my mouth has been watering just thinking about going back for this dish. My son had the teriyaki chicken kid combo and he loved it. The combos are a great value, coming with a soup starter, an appetizer with 2 crab puffs and a spring roll, then the entree has 2 sides, lo mein and fried rice. The service was great and you could tell from those who walked in that this was a place they frequented, knowing some of the employees well and having nice conversations with them. Had an appointment in the area, we planned on Chinese food, so did yelp research and found this place. Ordered online, food was ready when I arrived in 15 minutes. Even after the 35 minute drive home, food was delicious. Had: Orange chicken, and it was very good. Good quality chicken, not over sweet sauce and even a few slices of orange peel in the sauce. Beef chop suey, good size pieces of beef, perfectly trimmed, tender. Could have used some more vegetables. Bbq pork side, good portion of tender tasty pork. Chicken lo mein, Wife rated 5 out of five! Crab puffs crisp and tasty. Egg rolls the usual mediocrity. Good amount of food for the money. Packaging could use improvement over their styrofoam boxes, which leak. This is the absolute best Chinese food spot in the East Valley. My family of 6 (& extended family) have been coming here for years. The service is always friendly, at lunch time there is never a wait (which is very surprising,) & the food is fresh & delicious. We've been here 50+ times & it's always consistent. Their lunch specials are the best & include your entree of choice, a side of rice, fried rice or upgrade to lo mein, plus you get a crab wonton & an egg roll. Ok so check this out... I was omw home from my sister's house and had a mad craving for Chinese food, specifically the eggplant dish that most Chinese restaurants offer. I called about 2 places while I was on the road trying to find it. Those first 2 places didn't have eggplant anything and they didn't know what I was talking about. Now how in the hell do you not have it let alone not know what I'm talking about?! Needless to say, I can't remember what the names of those places were, but clearly they are not worth remembering. Moving on along here... Wei Wok Chinese Bistro was the 3rd place I called and thank God they had it!! I placed my order so I could pick it up before going home. They even had a house special fried rice that has everything in it. Check out the big shrimp they throw in it!! No skimping here! When I got to the restaurant, they had it ready and it came right out of the kitchen. I paid for it and couldn't wait to devour it when I got home. Let me tell you, this is the real deal and I was so damn satisfied I think I may have danced around my kitchen island, lmao!!! The weird part is, I never liked it in my younger days, but now I am all about it! Thank you, Wei Wok, for your awesome service and fresh food. I've been here a few times and wanted to leave a review. Solid Asian food, great prices and portion sizes awaits you at Wei Wok! Whether picking up and eating in, the staff is super friendly and helpful as needed. The highlights for us were the Orange Chicken in particular-- it wasn't some over fried breaded chicken with some Orange sauce-- the chicken was slightly breaded which really made the flavor come out. The noodles dishes are also worth a try as well. What made this also amazing is a family of four ate comfortably for $50, the prices are very reasonable. Stopped by with my family on Sunday for dinner and we were quickly seated. The server was beyond friendly from the start and we felt welcomed. We ordered four dinner combos: Shrimp with lobster sauce Mongolian beef General Tso Chicken Chicken with black bean sauce Side of shrimp with walnuts All combos came with fried rice, chicken lo mein, 1 spring roll, 2 ragoons, and a small soup. Great lunch specials, everyday including weekends. I generally don't like orange chicken because it's covered in thick breading. HOWEVER theirs has the slightest breading and is absolutely fantastic. I've been on the hunt for some really great Chinese takeout and I think Wei Wok might be it. I was craving shrimp lo mein so I placed an online order for pick up. The process was seamless and the prices were reasonable- when I came to pick up my food I was warmly greeted with hot food. Continue to love this place - I'm not even a fan of Chinese food, to be honest, but there are days I literally CRAVE Wei Wok! The hot and sour soup is unmatched - it's hands down the best in the valley. The eggs rolls are crispy and delicious, the veggie lo mein is delightful, and the orange chicken is definitely the best you'll find in AZ! I did take out Order small wonton soup it came it wasn't even a cup and. Two small wonton in chicken bouillon water. I ordered the moo goo gai pan and that comes with a spring roll, crab cut cake, lo mein and fried rice. The lo mein tasted old no flavor fried rice never laid near fried rice. It was just rice with soy sauce no egg no vegetable nothing and then it said it was supposed to be chicken lo mein there was no chicken that was just soy sauce so for me this place is a no I will never go back. nice people I wouldn't recommend. read more

We're from outta town but i had a taste for chinese so I looked up places near our hotel and found this place. I got the lunch special orange chicken and Mongolian beef because I wanted to tey more than 1 thing uncas wi never came back. My mom got the duck. The orange chicken was amazing. I loved the crunch on it and the sauce was delicious. The beef was okay but the chicken stole the show. My mom also enjoyed her duck. I'll definitely be back. I forgot to take pictures before and there was nothing left on the plate to take pictures after. I love when a Chinese restaurant offers weekend lunch specials, which is offered everyday until 3pm! Each lunch meal is served with fried rice, soup of choice, egg roll & crab Rangoon. I opted for orange chicken, my cousins had beef orange chicken and an order of chicken fried rice. Orange Chicken Lunch: I'm not a fan of orange chicken but anytime I'm here, it's my go to! I love the way they make it- extra crispy and fried to perfection- not overly breaded like most places. Excellent sauce as well. Fried rice served with the lunch was not very good and quite bland- only 1 very small scoop given-no veggies just pure rice. The crab Rangoon was good in flavor but severely lacked any stuffing. Orange Beef Lunch: My cousin had this just like my orange chicken, it was delicious! Very crispy, fried to perfection and great tasting sauce. Hot and sour soup was just okay, but I e liked that it was not goopy and had a good amount of thickness. Chicken Fried Rice: This was good, but definitely no wow factor. Generous portion was given and had a good amount of veggies and chicken. Service was good, staff was kind & attentive. Wei Wok has the best ratings in our area, which is why I came here. I wanted Szechuan shrimp, sadly it was not on the menu. So I ordered Szechuan green beans and added shrimp. Just a note for anyone in the future that adding shrimp means that you will receive 3 shrimp. When I asked if I could order additional shrimp, I was told it was not an option unless I wanted to order another dish. I really don't understand why the inflexibility but as you might imagine, I am frustrated. Next time I'll need to be more specific if wanting to add shrimp on to an entree! This is the only Chinese restaurant in Gilbert I've found that can make so many dishes truly vegetarian! Most places use chicken broth or oyster sauce in everything, but they're happy to leave it out and accommodate dietary preferences. It was really good for 19 we got soup, 4 appetizers, the choice or steamed rice or pork fried rice, 2 entries. The food came put super quick, the host was super sweet. Their menu features the usual items you'd expect, including orange chicken, sweet and sour, etc. I've always placed orders online and they're usually ready within 25-30 minutes, which is very convenient. They have lunch and dinner combo specials which include rice, lo mein, a spring roll, crab rangoons, and the entree of your choice. It's quite a bit of food! The items I've enjoyed the most here have been the kung pao chicken combo and broccoli chicken combo. If you're in the area and in the mood for Chinese food, this is a solid choice. Wei Wok has quickly become one of my go to lunch spots - great service, delicious and well priced lunch menu and fast. The Orange Chicken is unique and is so good. From the pictures I saw I was a little skeptical and I thought the chicken would be really hard to eat, but looks are deceiving! It's soft and drenched in sauce. The Sesame Chicken here isn't like sesame chicken at other places. Instead of a honey glaze taste it has a more tomato ketchup taste, which isn't bad but it's different. So be aware if you order the Sesame Chicken. It does have the same texture as the Orange Chicken. The crab puffs are decent and I will have to try and order something else in the future, but so far I am obsessed with the orange chicken read more

The service was very friendly and inviting. The food came fast! I ordered crab puffs and lemon chicken. The crab puffs were light and crispy. Delicious! I special ordered my lemon chicken to match the style of the general tso chicken. It was so light and crispy! Last, but not least, they had Kdot playing on a small radio by the front desk area which definitely scored a half point extra in my book! The other thing they may want to work on is the restroom cleanliness. It was pretty bad. We chose this restaurant because I finally found a restaurant that cooks crispy roast duck! Flavors were spectacular...exactly the way I grew up eating this one dish. Took me back to the time I remembered growing up in Hawaii, eating this favorite dish my father always ordered. We visited on 11/07/2024. They were very busy with dine in orders as well as to go orders. It was obvious they were shorthanded but did their best to give all guests the attention that was needed. My son ordered the sweet and sour fish combo that came with lo mein, fried rice, veggie rolls, egg flower soup, and crab rangoon.(That's a mighty meal for one person) My husband ordered the salty shrimp with white rice, egg flower soup, and 2 pork rolls. I most definitely ordered the crispy roast duck with white rice. And I couldn't help myself, I ordered the spicy eggplant that also came with white rice. The dinner was amazing!
