Family favorite tucked into a little corner sort of the size of a small diner. The service is astronomically quicker than I could've ever expected and really don't bother you at all. Authentic Chinese Szechuan style cuisine despite the look from driving past. I was very pleasantly surprised. Take out seems to be very busy but they also have very large tables (as seen in the picture) with lazy susans for your typical family celebrations!

Not sure how I feel about this place. I would say it's pretty authentic with its flavoring, like the sweet and sour and the orange flavor are somewhat bland in flavor but making things real sweet I think is more of an American concept. But I think I like the sweet more sweet because it also adds flavor. Don't get me wrong, the food was ok but the orange wasn't real orangy and the sweet and sour just didn't really pop. The egg drop soup was ok but again, it wasn't super flavorful. The egg rolls were pretty good. Like a lot of genuine Chinese restaurants that I've found, the service is kind of "matter of fact" not super friendly but not bad either, if that makes sense. I always feel like the people working in this type of, what I would say is, pretty authentic restaurants always seem to act like your up to something when in there or like maybe you're spying (which I kinda was to get my yelp pics, lol) but to be honest, I think it's mostly because there is a real language barrier. I think they do a pretty good job of communicating but that suspicious feeling probably comes from them just really trying to concentrate on what I am saying and I probably talk to fast to make it very easy. The restaurant seemed clean and it was nicely decorated and that's always a plus. Anyway, not a bad place, just not very "Americanized" if that's what you're looking for. I started out giving them 3 stars because I was on the fence but I'm bumping it to 4 because I believe they are pretty good at doing what THEY do.

This restaurant serves delicious, authentic Cantonese food. Their menu is expansive and the portions are perfect for ordering multiple dishes and eating family style. My favorites were the beef chow fun and sizzling spicy intestine.

This place has one of the best ma po tofu's I've had. A lot of flavor and not too oily. The consistency is great every time I've ordered it. It pairs great with yangzhou fried rice as it's also flavorful. Definitely one of my favorite spots for Chinese food without any frills. The service is great and usually quiet here.

Last night we decided to try a new Chinese restaurant. It was really good. We ordered the beef lo mein, orange chicken, wonton egg drop soup, with a side of egg rolls. Everything was so flavorful and yummy. My other go to spot might have some competition lol. The service was excellent and portions were to my liking. I finished the lo mein for breakfast. I'll be back.

Pro-tip: Rice is complimentary - which seems rare these days! Highlights: It's very authentic Cantonese food and even Chinese parents enjoy the food. We enjoyed all the dishes. Lowlights: It's priced a little higher than other authentic Chinese places Ive been to. The service was so bad. Our whole party hadn't arrived yet, but they didn't offer us any drinks for the longest time, and after we got the food, they didn't check-in on us, didn't refill our waters until the meal was over, and we had to waive them down to get the check.

Green Tea Bistro caters to Americanized and authentic Chinese food lovers alike. I find myself more on the Americanized side being an ABC lol. Previously we ordered dry beef chow fun but I wasn't sure what it was on the online menu. It can be so hard to find! I remember it having good wok hay. All entrees came with white rice or brown rice. Egg fried rice is a $2 up charge. Kung pao chicken, $12.29: It's marked as spicy on their menu but it was not spicy at all. Less "spicy"than Panda Express lol. The sauce was a touch sour (which was odd) but not overpowering. This was my least favorite dish we ordered and I would skip it next time. Pepper steak, $12.99: Standard black pepper beef with bell peppers and onions. Saucy enough to pour on my rice. I would order it again in the future. Double Sauteed Pork with Cabbage, $11.79: Think thin slices of pork almost like bacon but chewier in texture. Cooked with cabbage, bell peppers, onions, green onions, and soy bean slices. This was a touch spicy and also saucy enough to pour on my rice. This was the second time we've ordered this! There were a few dishes that I had my eye on like the Chong Qing Spicy Chicken so we will most likely return!

8/1/2020- Covid mask wearing days. Did a to-go order as there were no dine in at this time. Hand sanitizer and napkins were available. Ordered our usuals: boiled fish with preserved vegetables, chong Ching chicken, and fish fillet with tomato. They said order would take about 40 minutes. Went there on time and took additional 20 minutes and ac was not on because I was sweating. They offered me a free drink and same with others that were waiting. Busy is good and bad at the same time. Dining area was closed off. To go orders and delivery was only available. Workers were were constantly busy and courteous. Food was delicious as usual and curbed my hungry stomach!

Pretty delicious and authentic Chinese food! Definitely check out their Chinese menu. We ordered take out and everything tasted really great. We got the yang zhou fried rice, spicy cabbage, fish fillet with black bean sauce, eggplant with minced pork, and chicken in hot chili oil. The fried rice was fragrant and legit. The cabbage wasn't too spicy and had a little kick. Fish and eggplants were decent. Chicken in hot chili oil was spicy and has numbing spice, but sooo delicious. There was a bit of a wait for our food but we didn't mind and would return!

Very good real Chinese food! They have a big variety of food. I really liked the fried noodles, fresh and delicious! With reasonable nice price! This is a good Chinese food restaurant to come with friends, order lots of food and share!

I came here for a lunch with a friend. We ate inside and no one else was in the restaurant. We were greeted with friendly service and 3 menus. We got a traditional Chinese menu and a regular menu along with a drink menu with smoothies, teas, etc. Everything looked really good on the menu. I've been trying to find my favorites that I had back home in MN here in AZ so I had to order the egg drop wonton soup and triple delight. Both items really hit the mark. The wonton egg drop soup was a bit thicker than I'm used too although it was flavorful, full of egg and 4 wontons. I would have thought more wontons would have been added for that much soup. The large order is huge (not pictured). The triple delight had meet that was juicy and great quality, especially the shrimp. And I was able to get ir with broccoli and mushroom only. It was so good. I highly recommend. I also wanted to try a Chinese dish so I got the shredded pork and cumin sauce. There isn't much sauce although the pork and seasoning is pretty tasty.

Food was quite authentic! We ordered the water boiled fish which was not overly spicy for me. It wasn't that numb as well. The fish was not as soft as I've had before but good enough. Chicken in chili oil was delicious! My mouth is salivating as I type. It was savory and not too spicy for us. Very flavorful, salty but just nice however definitely unhealthy lol. The stir fried cabbage was also tasty and cooked just right. Everything was greasy but that's expected with Chinese food. Service was great. The female server was very friendly. The only negative would be that everything was pricier than most Chinese places we've been in AZ.

Food is great. But it's a bit overpriced which means you can find the same quality of food somewhere else with a cheaper price.

Love the pork buns, they're big and the pork is tasty (and they're only $3.50!). Owner is nice and his employees are attentive if dining in.

The decor is minimal but that's totally ok, but a little background music would be nice. I was a little nervous when all the tables had non-Asians. Typically not a great sign. lol We ordered the pork egg rolls. Two to an order for around $3.50. They are not very big, but they are good! Super crispy, not greasy and came out screaming hot. We asked for spicy mustard and they brought some little packets. It's not very spicy so add in some chili oil if you like it hot. The noodles came out at the same time. It's a big portion with beef, chicken, shrimp, calamari and bok choy. Beef, chicken and shrimp were all great. The calamari was a bit chewy and the bok choy overcooked. The sauce was a little thicker than usual. Maybe a little heavy on the corn starch. It definitely needed the chili oil to add some zip. Overall, the food is good and again the service was fantastic. This is the place to go for your Cantonese Chinese food fix.

Parking 5/5 Very busy lot, however; we parked at store-front between two places of interest. Atmosphere 5/5 Small quaint women owned Chinese restaurant celebrating 17 years! There were ~ 4 booths on the sides, we sat at two tables pushed together which could accommodate four. Service 5/5 Call-in order and table service. There were several pick-up customers during our lunch who appeared to be regulars based on their conversations. The owner brought us menus from the counter and took our beverage orders giving us a chance to look over the menu. After returning with our drinks she asked if we had any questions and we did. She was very pleasant and helpful. My wife ordered the Egg Foo Young, fried rice and small egg drop soup. I picked the Sweet & Sour Pork, fried rice and the large egg drop soup. Service today was amazing and friendly. Food 5/5 Oh my, all your favorites are on the menu. Our Egg drop soup hit the table in short order and both of us approved, excellent Egg Drop! Onto the entrees My wife's Egg Foo Young arrived first and her plate had several large and fluffy pieces that looked very tasty. It came with the traditional sauce on the side, and fried rice. The owner encouraged me to try some and my fork obliged. OM Gosh, perfectly cooked, wonderful texture and flavor! My dish is my regular go-to when trying new Chinese cuisine. The pork was perfectly cooked, slight crispy which I enjoyed. The S&S sauce was nice as well. I added some of my rice to the mix. Based in both our entree selections I will order these again! Our cook came out to clear our table and we thanked him for a great lunch. $48.35 plus tip for our visit today and we had leftovers too. Egg Foo Young my friends-SYOY!
