I ended up getting a menu on my front door and wanted to try a new place. Looking at the menu, they have something for everyone's tastes. I ended up getting a few items, including a potato appetizer that was served with a very sweet sauce, too sweet for me from what I learned. I got egg rolls, wonton soup, the potato appetizer, cream cheese wontons and street noodles. The egg rolls were big in size and very filled. They seemed mushy vs crisp but maybe that's how they're supposed to be. The street noodles were a big portion as well. The flavor wasn't working for me, I was hoping for more flavor since I normally order this entree when I order take out. The wonton soup was lacking in flavor in my opinion and had. What seemed to be mini wontons vs full size wontons I'm used to having in the soup. The cream cheese wontons were probably the item I liked the most. They were sweeter than I'm used to but I did enjoy these. Overall, I do appreciate the portions or and prices.

Happy Hour deals 4:30 until 8:00 p.m. Several tasty options. Beer is cold, Sake options pretty good, and prices competitive. Portion sizes are plentiful. All servers have been super nice and come by regularly to refill drinks and/or take additional orders. Every appetizer and entree has been good and plentiful. Frequently get too much because everything just sounds so good. Great sashimi, good Ramen, love the Kama, and we enjoy the entertaining video clips played on TV by hostess stand.

I had this place saved for some time as it nearby, and I have to say "thank you" to all my Yelpers as the food and the service matched at the positive feedback. Parking was fairly simple as it's located on the corner of Dobson and Guadalupe, and once inside, the staff was very welcoming and provided the menu. The TVs were some Pet channel full of cuteness (that's the only word that comes to mind for me to describe), while the other had something similar but maybe of bloopers. Either way, it was cool and blended in with the stylishly cool decor. As for lunch, I decided to go with the Bento box that included Beef and Broccoli as the main dish. It came with a side of rice, spring roll, a crab ragoon, and 4 sushi pieces. They did bring out a courtesy salad, which was nice. I went with a fountain drink but they do have Sake, Beer & Wine. Service and speediness of the food were good, and as you can tell by my photo, it was steaming hot when it arrived. Overall, everything was on point, and I think I'll come back and try another Bento box lunch special.

We were a party of 12 visiting on vacation, and none of us are from the area. We ordered spam musubi and a chicken skewer as appetizers. Both appetizers arrived well after our entrees had already been served and we had essentially finished eating. Each time we asked about them, we were repeatedly told, "They're coming." Mind you, these are simple appetizers that should not take anywhere near that long to prepare. When we asked for the third time, we finally asked that the appetizers be cancelled since we had already finished our meal. At that point, the gentleman working the front area , tall, with red hair, loudly yelled from across the restaurant, in an extremely rude and confrontational tone, "It's already on the grill!" There was absolutely no reason to speak to paying customers that way. His response was unprofessional, unnecessary, and honestly created a very hostile and uncomfortable feeling during what should have been an enjoyable dinner, especially while our group was on vacation and simply trying to enjoy a meal together. When the appetizers eventually came out, we left them sitting there because we were already done eating and ended up taking them to go. He eventually told us they would be removed from the bill, which we appreciated, but that did not excuse the way the situation was handled. Again, the food was good, but good food does not make up for poor service and especially not for an employee speaking to customers in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Management should seriously address how customers are treated, because the interaction with this particular employee overshadowed what could have otherwise been a good dining experience for our party of 12.

The service was exceptional--friendly, kind-hearted, and attentive to every request, always with a smile. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. There is truly something for everyone. If you're looking for a comfortable spot with great food, delicious drinks, and outstanding customer service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Possibly the owner? The Dancin Duck is like a riff on Peking Duck and a sushi roll with some extra fusion -- fitting the restaurant name! Duck, avocado, cucumber and salad greens are rolled in a soft and flaky phyllo-ish wrap, served on hoisin sauce and a little bit of what I think was a spicy mayo. This was a little messy and a LOT delicious. I hope they have more duck items on the menu. Looking forward to trying more here!

Apps were the Chinese long beans which very good and the avocado ragoon. They were crispy and tasty. The inside was a golden yellow which seemed a bit confusing for avocado but it still tasted great. Anyway, Clever Koi came to the rescue and it was a great experience! I have been to the location in Phoenix, but it was a dinner visit and the restaurant was very dimly lit. This time it was lunch, so it was nice and bright. The service was wonderful!! I did not catch their names, but the the gentleman and lady who served us were very helpful. We ordered 3 of the Steamed Buns: Pork Belly, Hot Chicken, and the Bun of the Moment, which happened to be Drunken Shrimp, I believe. I didn't taste the Hot Chicken, but the other two were super tasty!! Portions were great and every morsel was devoured. The Krazy Fries were damn delicious!! Packed full of flavor and very filling, it's a great dish to be shared. I can't pass up pork belly!! Lol I forgot what drink my friend ordered, but I had no shame and had the Pornstar Martini, yessir!!! It was quite comical when our server mentioned that most people are embarrassed to order it because of its name, but I proudly said it loud and clear! That drink was perfect for brunch/lunch! Overall it was a great visit, minus the twitching fly that was on our table after we were seated. We didn't know if it was half dead or what, but my friend just swiped it across the table until it fell off. I'm not sure they have any control over flies coming into the restaurant as people enter and exit, but it was off putting to have to shoo them away while you're having a meal and trying to converse. Other than that fly issue, the visit was solid. Prices aren't bad and there's a big parking lot outside the establishment as well as a public parking garage not far away. I highly recommend Clever Koi if you've never been!
