First time trying the food at Jeong's Noodle and it was a pleasant surprise to find how good their black bean noodles tasted. This restaurant is located in a food court inside H Mart in Mesa, Arizona. Yes, it is worth visiting, and yes I would recommend this place to others. Their menu seems to accommodate everyone, including spicy and non spicy options, and for people that prefer protein besides seafood like beef and chicken. If I have the chance to, I would like to visit again to try the other items on their menu. They offer plenty of parking spaces considering that it is located inside the H Mart! If you find yourself hungry before or after groceries shopping, please try Jeong's Noodle. In Korea, we normally eat black bean noodles, jjajangmyun after rigorous physical activity such as moving houses or helping our loved ones and friends move to a new location. Or it could be just usual lunch menu that is popular. Try and let me know what you think!
When my family came to visit last year, they brought over some items from Jeong's Noodle while I was working. The leftover sat in my fridge for a few days, and in between seeing them at their rental, and working I had my first jjampong. It was heaven. The crab was so fragrant in the broth and I never stopped thinking about it. But I never came out here because it's part of the food hall at H Mart. It's busy. The seating is rough. But my husband suggested we try and finally order it. I ordered it to go because the portions are HUGE! For both dishes, the noodles were bouncy and thick - definitely freshly made. The seafood portions were generous. The flavor: PHENOMENAL I am so happy we finally made it and have leftovers to enjoy!
I never expect much from anywhere in a food court, but Jeong's proved me wrong! Located in the HMart Food Court in Mesa, Jeong's does indeed produce a solid jjajjangmyun! We only decided to give them a try after reading the Yelp reviews, and once again Yelpers did not let me down! The noodles here are legit and the sauce was yummy! Definitely stop here if you're craving authentic Korean black bean noodles!
Jeong's Noodle is also known as Danny's kitchen. Should put both names on Yelp as it was hard to find under the other name. It's in the hmart food court. It can be really noisy and hard to find a seat there.
Try the jjampong with seafood. The broth is delicious and the udon noodles are nice and chewy. Would highly recommend!

I've been craving something spicy and savory for a few days and couldn't quite figure out what I needed to satisfy my craving. Wife said I needed jjampong-spicy Koreanized Chinese seafood noodle soup and she was spot on! Always listen to your wife. I've had it in the past but based on Yelp reviews decided to check out this place and my tummy is very happy I did. We got here around noon and were surprised to see how crowded the food court was. We barely managed to snag a table. They have 7 different kinds of jjampong and I chose #2, the original that comes with mussels, shrimp, squid, onions, cabbage, black fungus and green onions. The broth was very rich, savory and satisfying. I also enjoyed the chewy black fungus. While very satisfying, the soup is very oily and a bit salty but I still loved it. I'll be back again when the craving hits.

Solid Korean noodle spot in HMart. Over the last few years I've ordered the Jajangmyeon, Seafood Jjajang, and Jampongg. All quite good! They have the smoky flavor which I love. The portions are very generous, typically with a good amount of seafood. My most recent order of Seafood Jjajang had a lot of squid and octopus, a couple of shrimp and only one mussel; I'm not sure it that's typical but the amount of octopus made up for it. The noodles were good quality and bouncy, making for an enjoyable experience. I had a good lunch portion and took the rest home which gave me two additional, generous portions. With tax, this dish came to $20 but for the amount provided it was a good value. Ambience and service are what you'd expect from a food court; no issues or negative feedback there. 4 stars since I've had better from restaurants but absolutely a solid choice and well worth the value.
Best Noodles I've ever eaten in MY LIFE!! Oh my god, the generous amount of seafood , the juicy and tasty sauce and the humongous size of the dish had me sold!! Honestly I don't think I can ever eat noodles anywhere else. I don't have anything else to say I'm just in love!!!
We ordered Jjajangmyeon & Orange chicken. So yummy! From the time we ordered and waited- it was ready quick. The place can get packed and chatty and that's given considering it's a food court. Would come here again

This H-Mart goes crazy! I feel like the world has truly globalized when the best H-Mart food court you have ever seen is in Phoenix, Arizona. They had around 7-8 vendors, each one selling different foods which made me so happy. Jeong's Noodle was one of the ones that we decided to try. We ordered the Jjampong which was delicious! It's honestly very comparable and tastes even better than Paik's Noodle House in California. They should expand to more branches. The noodles were very chewy and the soup base was strong and flavorful. I appreciate how many different ingredients they put into it, especially the lettuce which soaked up all the delicious soup. The price point was also incredibly reasonable too! Overall, a very solid dish at Jeong's Noodle! Would come back if in the area.
I couldn't take my daughters to the Taste of Korea Festival because of work, so we decided to create our own Korean food adventure in the H Mart food court. Turns out, that was a fantastic decision. We ordered the Jajangmyeon and Tangsuyuk, and both were outstanding. The Jajangmyeon had the perfect amount of rich, fermented black bean flavor without being overwhelming. The Tangsuyuk was incredibly crispy, and the sauce struck that magical balance between sweet and sour that keeps you reaching for "just one more bite." By the end of the meal, nobody was talking much--which, as any parent knows, is usually the highest compliment a restaurant can receive. We'll definitely be back for the next chapter of our H Mart culinary adventure. read more
This place is my top spot whenever I'm craving for Jjampong and Jajangmyeon at H-Mart. The prices have gone up a bit recently, but honestly, it's still completely worth it. The portions are huge--I almost always end up getting two full meals out of one order. My only real complaint isn't even about the food itself, but the H-Mart food court hours: closing at 8:00 PM feels a bit too early when a late-night noodle craving hits. I understand they have follow the market hours. Otherwise, the quality and generous portions keep me coming back every time! read more
After grocery shopping, it's super convenient to stop here for a meal since it's located inside the HMart food court. They offer a variety of popular Chinese Korean dishes such as jajangmyun, jjampong, and sweet and sour pork. I have tried many different dishes from here and my favorite is jjampong, spicy seafood noodle soup. The broth is definitely the star. It's very rich, savory and deeply satisfying especially when you have a craving for it. It has lots of seafood including mussels, squid and shrimp. It's spicy enough without being overwhelming and I love the chewy wheat noodles. It does contain a ton of cabbage which is probably the only negative but it does add a natural sweetness that balances the spicy broth. read more

The food court was very busy with a lot of people, but we were able to place our take out quickly and receive it quickly too. They will call your order name/number so we found a seat while we waited. We got JaJang Myeon (noodles with black bean sauce), and it was delicious. I asked the cashier if there was any meat in the dish since it wasn't listed on the menu. They said there was pork in it. However, there was barely any pork and mainly just pork fat. It also comes with a small soufflé cup of yellow radish, my fave! Still good, but I would recommend an order of additional protein! read more

Jeong's Noodles offers great service with plenty of parking and seating, which is always a plus. However, the jajangmyeon was a bit too salty for my taste. Overall, it's an okay spot, but the flavor could be better balanced. read more
Located in the food court of H-Mart, you better grab a table if you see one as it gets crowded. Whenever we come to the Phoenix area, this is a must stop for my wife. She loves the seafood Jjamppong. It is packed with everything and plenty of it. Friendly staff and delicious soup that keeps bringing us back, definitely a go-to in the area. read more
Second time trying Jeong's noodle and decided to try their jjamppong, spicy seafood noodle soup. Got it to go and it was packed with care to prevent leaks, and with the noodles in a different container so they would get soggy. The soup came with lots of protein and was perfectly spicy. The noodles were chewy with the perfect amount of bounce. Prices are great and portions are big! read more
This restaurant is in the food hall of H Mart. Very clean food court and lots of options. Jeong's Noodle caught my attention with the portion that people got. I was going around the food hall area and checking to see what people ordered and the seafood jajang caught my attention. The plate is huge! Seafood Jajang size was great to share. I did think it would be better with some spice. I added some chili oil and liked it more! I love the texture of the noodles. The amount of seafood was great. If you do not like spicy, this is the perfect dish for you! I'm excited to try out other items on their menu. The service was great! read more

Located in Hmart's food court. My 3 year old and I had the jajangmyeon, it was yummaaay. Noods had a nice, chewy texture and the sauce was a good flava. The size was big enough for the both of us. Can't wait to come back and try their other dishes... The man and lady at the cashier were both friendly. The lady gave me an extra bowl and fork for my daughter without me having to ask. We sat at the table directly across from Jeon's and she saw me struggling to transfer noodles to my daughter's bowl bc they're so long. So she came over with scissors. I appreciated their customer service, it's def the little things:) read more
Well priced black bean noodles! We ordered the Korean black bean noodles with seafood and it did not disappoint. They were very quick to give us the food, probably no more than 10 minutes. The portion was HUGE! You could feed 2 people easily. The dish was super sauced, so we mixed the leftovers with additional ingredients. read more
Finally decided to come here and try the champong or jampong how ever you decide to spell it.. It's a Chinese/Korean spicy seafood noodle soup dish.. One of my favorite noodle dish I've eaten my whole life.. I've always gone to one in Asiana out of convenience... Well I'm glad I came here.. It was very yummy.. Way better than the other one inside Asiana. Soup had lot more flavoring.. Had more varieties of seafood.. Including 3 shrimps... Noodle was nice and chewy and fresh tasting.. I would definitely come back here again. read more

The store is inside H Mart in the Food Hall with a bunch of Asian eatery. The H Mart in NW Philly also has a store called Jeong's Noodle. So, I ordered my favorite Seafood Jajang Noodle. It comes with a huge portion, so be sure that you enough room in your stomach to take it all it. It is delicious! read more
Jeong's Noodle is located inside of HMart and my wife and I had decided to go here for dinner one evening. The ambiance at HMart food court is always busy, which is usually a good sign that the food is fantastic. Sure enough, we were not let down. Our food tasted amazing. My wife ordered the Jjampong, which is a spicy seafood soup and it tasted really good. I ordered the Tang Suyuk, which is fried pork belly that they serve with sweet and sour sauce. The sweet and sour sauce probably the best I had ever had. Our service was nice and I would recommend anyone to come here. read more

Jajangmyun is good. The sauce for the sweet sour pork is not too good in my opinion, only because I had a bunch in LA Ktown. Otherwise it is fine. Service is fast. This is in a food court so ultimately you serve yourself. This is my to go place when I'm back to AZ read more
Portions seem smaller this time around for the jajangmyun. In addition, the tangsuyuk had too much extra batter around the pork, was looking forward to more meat rather than the fried batter. I'll have to try Paik's soon down the street to compare. read more

The jajangmyeon from here is my go-to meal at the h-mart food court!! The noodles have great springy texture and the sauce is flavorful with a consistency that isn't too thin or thick. read more
Their jjampong broth is super flavorful, rich, and also has some hint of fire/grilled taste which makes it even more tastier. I had a crab jjampong, there were good amount of crab, squid, veggies, and some other seafood, the portion was good as well. Tried their black bean noodle earlier, and it was just ok, but jjampomg it is. This place is for jjampong :) Would try their fried pork and other jjampong next time! read more
Jjampong ang jjajangmyun were excellent. The noodle dishes were ample. The smokiness of both dishes enhanced the palate experience to the next level. Jjampong broth was a spicy and rich with the seafood infused flavors including from the crabs. I took spoonfuls of broth just to fill my mouth with the wonderful flavors. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, not overdone. Noodles were alienate and pleasant in my mouth. The Jjajangmyun had the rich smoky flavor and the platter presentation made the dish bountiful. read more
