Great find here on Yelp. The counter service was smooth and helpful, which made ordering easy. I had the chow mein with chicken and shrimp, and it was a big plate for lunch -- definitely something you could share. The noodles were good, the shrimp was cooked well, and everything had solid flavor. And the fountain Coke was perfect -- always a bonus when you find a place that gets that right.

    Bug in rice

I ordered my food through DoorDash since I was sick and I couldn't believe what I saw in my food. I noticed a rotten egg in my egg drop soup and a bug in my rice. I felt so grossed eating this food afterwards.

I live a few blocks away from My House and it's a great place for quick higher quality Chinese food. The food is almost always ready in under 10 minutes and they pack everything to go in a nice large carriable bag. The interior is very clean but only has a few tables for dining in. The few times I've dined in I didn't really like the larger chairs as they sat low and didn't quite fit the tables for a taller person. The food is usually quite good and plentiful. The lunch specials come with an entree, soup/side and pork fried rice. The one minor complaint I have is some pieces of chicken are very large and could be cut up into more pieces to make it crispier and easier to eat. Overall, it's one place I come back to every few months for a good consistent meal. Definitely worth a visit if you've never tried it.

Mu shu pork and pancakes with plum sauce

I had great service from the young man at the counter. I wanted to have my mu shu pork dine in, and take veg tofu home. He waited on tofu order so it would go home hot and delicious. My mu shu was great and against portion . Love this place!

This is my go to place for Chinese takeout. Good portions and good prices. It is also prepared quick and ready when you arrive.

Sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, cold noodles (IYKYK ) and lo mein.
    Stacy A.

This is hands down the BEST New York style Chinese food in Arizona. The egg rolls are crispy on the outside with crunchy cabbage inside . Sweet and sour chicken is spot on delicious. Lo Mein is super good with lots of flavor. I highly recommend this place if you are from the East coast and are searching for delicious food.

The best place man. I love this place so much. Get the beef sticks as an appetizer. Literally every option is good, the chefs are killer

Quality of chicken has gone downhill in a recent visit, but ths egg roll was crunchy and very good as well. Chef needs to wear chef clothes.

Burnt chicken teriyaki with refrigerator cold rice.
    Phaedra B.

Chicken teriyaki was beyond burnt. It's obvious that it had been reheated in the past, the sauce had been reduced to the point of being burnt molasses. Egg rolls were all cabbage, no pork to be had. Spring rolls are the generic wholesale version from bulk warehouse. Online menu is hard to navigate with items being listed in three different places and no real descriptions.

Pho with rare steak: (5/5) Comes with the option of thick or thin noodles. We tried both of them, and I prefer the thick noodles. Came with noodles, homemade broth (most pho restaurants use a standard MSG broth, but not this one), rare steak, onions, mint leaves, bean sprouts, a lemon wedge, and jalapeños. The beef was very tender and flavorful, it was not chewy or dry at all. The broth tasted much better than other broths, but I'm not too sure what is in it. All other ingredients were fresh. Service: (3/5) You order before you sit yourself at a table. You get your own water. They do bring the food to your table though. Ambiance: (2.5/5) The restaurant is a little bit cramped and the tables are mismatched. It can also get very busy but they also have outside seating. Overall I would recommend the pho here just remember that it's mostly self serve and the broth is very good.

Feels built for takeout, not dining in - Despite all the self-service, they still ask for a tip at the register; which felt off - Staff seemed disinterested; ask a question and you're treated like an inconvenience - Casual, no-frills vibe. Got a medium or large party? You're rearranging tables yourself or splitting up Bottom line: decent food, but the service model and the tip ask don't add up. Probably won't be recommending this one.

She asked me how my day was asked me how she could make it better & after we ordered the food I went and sat down for and waited for it to be made and she offered me a drink, and I told her I was OK, and at that moment, I noticed her effort of trying to keep a smile on customers faces and as I was leaving, I picked up my food and headed to the door and I heard her scream across the room. I hope you have a good rest of your day.. I just wanna say I think she's going an extra mile and she needs to be recognized for her service. She was super sweet greeted me. Make sure I was comfortable while I waited as as well as make sure that she said goodbye. If I can give her five stars alone, I would do so everybody needs a Shea in their establishment. I also love their beverage options, especially the coffee and iced tea. One thing I really appreciate is that they almost always have a curry-based soup on the menu, which is rare to find. And if you see the Mulligatawny soup--order it. Don't let the name intimidate you. It's absolutely outstanding. Rich, comforting, beautifully spiced, and something I've rarely been able to find in Arizona (or even outside the UK, for that matter). It's a real standout. I've had the veg sandwich several times, and if you love beets, it's a must-try. Fresh, flavorful, and unique. Their pastries are also consistently good, prices are reasonable, and the overall menu feels thoughtful and well-executed. This is the kind of place you happily add to your regular rotation--and we have."
