I'd noticed this place before but felt a place that had ramen, stir-fries, and sushi probably wasn't great. A friend mentioned loving it so we set up dinner and it was great! Its in a building at the edge of a strip mall so seems like plenty of parking. There's a fun light display with the logo outside the front door on the sidewalk. Inside is very cute! They've definitely made an effort on the ambiance.There's also a nice side patio that looks like it has bamboo shades to make it less "strip mall". The staff here are very warm and welcoming. Great service! Throughout our dinner and our long sitting and chatting after, our waitress was friendly, checking in and offering soda refills. We had the shrimp tempura -- really good! A friend had sushi and loved it (and comes here regularly), and the rest of us all had stir-fries, which were all very good. I ordered Mongolian beef and asked if they had chili oil and our waitress asked if I wanted it in the dish or on the side and I said both, which was no problem. This is a great neighborhood spot to enjoy a relaxed dinner (or lunch!) with friends (or yourself, whatever). It wasn't noisy and we felt very welcomed there. Food was great and its really a great option if you want sushi and others dont. They also have happy hour pricing on some of the appetizers, sushi and boba but I don't think they have alcohol. Stopped by Bloomy Kitchen after driving by looking for a place to eat. We were greeted by friendly staff and told to sit wherever we liked. The parking lot and restaurant were full which was a good sign. I ordered the Pork Belly Buns as an appetizer and my partner ordered the Shrimp Tempura. Both were very good, especially the Shrimp Tempura. For my entree, I ordered the Tantanmen Ramen and was beyond satisfied with my choice. The ramen was extremely flavorful and the marinated egg was the perfect addition, providing a slightly sweet taste. My partner ordered the Hot Spicy Ramen which was good but wasn't a favorite. Service was great, food was delicious, and prices were fantastic. We haven't been back yet but Bloomy Kitchen is definitely a place I would recommend. read more

As usual, the food is very good. The sashimi gets my vote with it's cool, fresh, clean taste. But it's difficult to decide my favorite this evening between White, Yellowfin, or the regular Tuna OR Salmon. The Edamame is well garnished with what I suspect to be Sea Salt. It certainly enhances the flavor. This evening we also ordered a side of rice which promptly arrived, hot and with good cohesion. Our server always takes good care of us. Routinely checks on drinks, asks if we would like something else, and just takes good care of us every time we have dined here. Tables seem to turnover at a reasonable rate. Even when it appears busy I've not seen anyone have to wait to be seated. Tables are promptly cleared and made accessible fairly quick. Ambiance is simple, casual with pop music playing, one large television that plays mostly sports and a smaller TV with a TikTok video compilation that sorta resembles Chive that's near the Pick up area. I have been wanting to try this place for a bit and had the opportunity to meet up with a friend here. We were immediately greeted by a nice lady and told us to sit wherever we wanted. It's a simple medium size restaurant that appears to be clean. Once seated, our waitress took our drink orders, then followed up to take our food order, we ordered: spicy edamame, pork belly baos, volcano roll, tokoyakai balls & bloomy roll. While everything was prepared well and quick to come out, the only items we were not impressed with was the tokoyakai balls. They appeared to be under cooked, don't believe they should be so runny with doughy consistency, but they were seasoned well. Presentation for all their food was nice. Fairly inexpensive during Happy Hour. Our meal came with a complimentary salad too. If in the area, check them out, I know I will be back. read more

Checked out Bloomy Kitchen with friends on a Saturday night since it had good ratings on Yelp and Google. It was our first time, and we were curious to give it a try. The place is super festive, all decked out with Christmas decorations--it definitely gets you in the holiday mood! There's a small front area with a few tables, a bigger seating area to the left, and some outdoor tables too. Very cute setup overall. They've got Happy Hour from 5 to 8 PM, which is longer than most places, and the prices are pretty reasonable. We ordered some rolls, appetizers, buns, and ramen noodles. Honestly, the food was just okay--nothing special. The tuna, in particular, wasn't fresh or great quality. But for the price, I guess it's fine. The service, though, was awesome. Gyoza - delicious. Nothing out of the ordinary, but tasty nonetheless Crab wontons - omg so good. We could have eaten trays of these and they're super well priced for happy hour. California roll - basic but refreshing and delicious Tootsie roll - we loved it. The crunch on top was just right. Word of the Day: Kuchisabishii - a Japanese word that translates to "lonely mouth." It describes the feeling of eating something, not because you're hungry or the food tastes good, but simply for the sake of eating something. Don't sleep on their Happy Hour menu. It was more than plenty of food and we had leftovers but hey, who is gonna say no to biting a salmon collar? Why choose the bear when you can be the bear? Nom! Everything we ate was good. The interior is cute and clean with ample seating. I'd recommend this restaurant after 2nd time this week. First of, the staff were super friendly! The food was pretty good. They have happy hour from 4.30-8pm with some items $1 to $3 less than their regular price. What my family and I love - udon stir fry, crab puff, eel roll, salmon maka. We went to Bloomy on a whim for lunch as we were craving bao buns. Bloomy is a small quaint restaurant. We were seated immediately and our servers checked on us often. I ordered their spicy garlic edamame, pork belly bun and their spicy Shoyu ramen while my mom ordered their hot and spicy ramen. Their ramen is delicious with a nice heat that builds without compromising other flavors. They include a hearty amount of pork belly and their marinated eggs are perfectly cooked. We had enough to feed us as leftovers that night as well. I HIGHLY recommend their spicy garlic edamame and pork buns as they are delicious. They do have a smaller menu than other sushi or ramen spots. But what they do, they do very well! The restaurant spacious and a perfect place for groups. Service was great. We ordered couple items from the happy hour menu. They have happy hour daily 5pm-8pm. We tried the salmon kama, ramen, and different rolls. Unfortunately, the fish quality not the best or fresh. The paired salad came in a cute bowl. I was disappointed that the garlic tonk ramen didn't have any garlic taste. I guess I was expecting the black garlic oil ramen. The broth was watery and light. Pork belly in the Bao buns had a nice glaze, but a little salty. Karaage was alright, nothing to extravagant, spicy mayo didnt add any additional flavor to it. Gyoza was gas, nice sweet grill to it. California roll. The rolls were fresh and tasty! The rice was perfectly cooked, the perfect stickiness and fluffyness. The star of the show was the orange chicken, seriously some of the best I've ever had and I've had lots! The sauce was sticky and plentiful without making the chicken soggy. Very clean and beautifully remodeled from the old Teriyaki kitchen. The food is very good. American Chinese food mixed with Japanese ramen and rice plates. Food was very bland. Service was great. The only food that was good was the little iceberg salad they bring as soon as you sit down. Spicy tuna roll had a little spice but while it was supposedly made fresh for me, one part was much warmer than the rest and had the texture of a grocery store roll past its sell by date but less flavor, except the old fish fishy flavor good sushi doesn't have. The wasabi was dried up along one edge and the ginger portion a bit dry and small. The broccoli chicken was completely tasteless. Luckily they have siracha at the table. They didn't charge me for the tuna roll that wasn't good that I left most of without me asking so that's a plus. I truly don't understand the high reviews, though it's pretty inexpensive. Similar happy hour prices elsewhere are a much better value. read more
