Beef Combo 1 XL, appetizers/side dishes, salad, sauce/salt/plate setup
    Tyler H.

New favorite. The food is stellar, from the unlimited appetizer/sides (kimchis, noodles, veggies, potato salad) to the soups, sides, sauces and meats. The menu is not all you can eat. That said, my partner and I got the XL Beef Combo 1 and ended up having to take home a third of it. Meat quality is great, and portions are good. They have the best cucumber kimchi I've ever had, and fantastic kimchi soup that's not too spicy. The beef belly and bulgogi were our favorite meats. Many of their options like the green salad, bulgogi, marinated ribs, and vegetables were not nearly as sweet as I often find them in other KBBQ joints, which was a great change. The service is great. I didn't feel waited on, I felt like I was just generally seen. There's a doorbell if you need something quickly. Otherwise all staff were super friendly and anticipated our needs with grill changes which was nice. The atmosphere is great. It's small and casual but very comfortable and upscale at the same time. It feels very relaxed while maintaining a high standard. The music is great (for us), all kinds of EDM at a good volume. And no TVs, which is actually nice - it let us focus on the vibes, the food, and each other. Many other parties were laughing and having a good time. We spent about 130 between the two of us, having ordered an XL combo and an extra side (chicken buldak - I couldn't eat the noodles but the chicken was bomb). It was a great way to spend a Friday night. We plan to make this a regular spot in our rotation - we still have a lot of sides and meats to try. Well done, please keep it up. Would recommend.

Had a good dinner tonight! Service is always great here. I will say though, after coming here for the last two years, it seems they have recently changed ownership and/or menu offerings. Banchan sides have changed slightly and they no longer offer the additional sides (corn cheese, green onion salad, grilled kimchi) as part of the main menu. This is definitely one of the better KBBQ spots in the Phoenix area! The quality just isn't quite the same.

Jin's BBQ was great! We got the pork aged in beeswax which I've never seen anywhere else before and the flavor was so unique and tasty! We also got beef bulgogi which was delicious as well. Every single one of the many sides they brought out was so good and they're free refills! I really enjoyed trying a little bit of all the different things. The waiters/waitresses were all very friendly and someone was always there to help cook the meat. The restaurant had a fun vibe with upbeat music and several drink options.

Jin is the real deal. As soon as we were seated, they quickly brought out the banchan which was plentiful and refilled as many times as we wanted. We ordered the Jin Combo 1 small, which is for 2-3 persons at $78. For those that think this place is expensive, it's actually a good value. There was plenty of food for the two of us, and we probably ate too much, so could have used a third person. The quality of the meats is definitely a step above AYCE Korean joints. Plus, you get a soup and steamed egg, so there's no shortage of food to leave you full and satisfied. The service was great and our waiter made sure everything was filled and often checked in with us. We will definitely be back.

Excellent food! I came here years ago and it was delicious but a bit on the pricier side. I came here again and I think the owners changed. The meat quality is the same - top notch and delicious. The brisket was probably the best in bbq I've had in the U.S. The banchan was all amazing and I love all the different options. The tomato basil was my favorite and the Japchae. I also love that they had three different types of sauces. We also got Terra and tried a sampler of their makkuli ice drink and it was amazinggggg. For the four of us, we spent about $150 total. I'd definitely come back again!

It's my favorite Korean bbq in Arizona! I came there twice and they are so good. You can tell the meat quality is there, although you need to grill them by yourself, but everything even the banchan (side dishes) and the steam egg, corn cheese, radish were so good. It's definitely on the pricer side, but it's a good spot for a group of friends/family to share and have more options to eat.

I was a little worried about the price when I first sat down. Then they started bringing out all the appetizer dishes. There were so many. Between those and the salad, the steamed egg, and the stew, I was almost full before the meat even arrived. It was worth every penny. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well.

I went with a few coworkers and had a great time! We had their "Jin Combo B" and it was plenty for the three of us to split and take home some leftovers. The meats were all qute good, and their setup included refills on all the sides. The setup they have with the trays of kimchi egg and cheese corn in particular was a clever, albeit time-limited feature. Although we managed to beat the Friday evening rush, the servers were still very prompt despite the place filling up. I would definitely bring my friends back here!

We stopped in for a late lunch at Jin BBQ before heading to the Innings Festival at Tempe Beach Park, and wow... easily the best lunch decision we made all day. Everything was so delicious! This is officially my new favorite Korean BBQ spot in Arizona. We live about 30 minutes away, but the food is absolutely worth the drive. The inside setup even reminded me of the Korean BBQ restaurants I grew up going to in California, which made the whole experience feel extra nostalgic. Service was good, the vibe was great, and every bite hit the spot. We'll definitely be back. Jin BBQ is a gem.

Best Korean BBQ in the entire state. I come here almost every other month because the meat quality is incredible and the sides are both delicious and unlimited. It's the classic style where you cook your own meat and pair it with all the sides for extra flavor. One of my absolute favorites is the marinated short rib. It's so tender and flavorful, especially with some radish and kimchi. I never liked kimchi much until I tried it here. Turns out I just wasn't eating good kimchi before, because theirs is easily some of the best I've ever had. Service is quick and efficient, and each table has a call button so your server comes right away whenever you need something. It's the perfect spot for a group of four to six to enjoy great food and good company!

Had such an amazing dinner here at Jin BBQ tonight with my family! The ambiance inside has a more lively feel with the new revamp and the K-pop playlist sets the mood for a night of eating! The new menu offers an array of different side dishes and meats that weren't there before! Coming from someone who is often indecisive, I LOVE that there are new combo options that help guide you through the various cuts of meat. The new small side dishes (banchan) that come with your meal when ordering is so delicious as well! I love how the staff is never shy with refills when asking for more!! Speaking of the staff here, they were all so attentive to small details and super friendly:) They were all quick to notice when our table needed water, sides, a grill change, etc... It feels as though the workers here take pride in what they do and what they serve! All in all, I will be back again sometime soon to bring in new friends to eat here! I have always loved the quality of meat here, the fun upbeat vibes, and the friendly staff members that create a cheerful ambiance.

Found Jin while visiting Mesa and they rocked. I'm a huge fan of Korean food, I've visited Seoul and Busan, but my husband fell in love while eating at Jin. He is wishing we had a "Jin" in our hometown in California. All the flavors were amazing and every side dish was delicious. We had ribeye to BBQ, spicy cold noodles, and kimchi fried rice. The servings were large and we had leftovers to enjoy for lunch the next day. The staff was attentive, service was quick, and they kept our side dishes full. Excellent experience, hands down 10/10 dining treat! Loved the vibe and they played all the fav KPop tunes! Fantastic ambiance with the wood and metal esthetic and concrete floors. Appreciated "Heaven" being clean and well stocked. Definitely a repeat restaurant when in Mesa!

Now I'm on the hunt for the place with the best kimchi cold noodles in AZ (on the east side). I ordered the Radish Neang Myun while my family shared the Lettuce wrap w/ spicy pork, Galbi and Kimchi pancake. The Lettuce wrap combo also came with soy bean stew. The Radish Neang Myun was refreshing on a hot day. I prefer mine with a more spicy kimchi flavor. I added in some from the banchan with lots of vinegar and some hot mustard. My family liked the lettuce wrap and meats but my mom said the soybean paste stew was salty. Wish they offered kimchi stew instead of soybean paste stew, or give the option to choose one or the other. I tried a piece of the kimchi pancake and felt it needed more kimchi flavor and some scallions to add some color to it. The spicy citrus soy sauce it came with wasn't spicy at all. It just tasted like soy sauce. A sweet and salty sauce would taste good with it. Also, it needs a bigger sauce. That thing was tiny! Our server was great! They had fish cake, kimchi, pickled radish and cucumbers available. We also tried the tofu soup, steamed egg and corn cheese which all came out hot and tasted flavorful. This spot is a-la-carte, so you order off the menu and pay by items. My only downside is that they didn't have rice paper here since I don't really eat the white rice since it fills me up too quickly. They are a little further than I typically would have gone for delivery, but we figured it would travel well and were craving something from our usual Mexican food fix. I cannot speak for the interior or vibe of the space, but takeout was great. We ordered two bowls with bulgogi beef. You can choose your own base, veggies and sauces, so very customizable! I got part brown rice and greens with every veggie option I could get! I was unable to add an egg on the delivery platform, (maybe due to poor traveling?), though it does look like they may offer this in person. We then got some kimchi fries to share. You also get your option of protein on this, which we had selected chicken bulgogi. Shortly after placing order, we received a call from the Bibio team that they were out of a few sauces we had selected, as well as the chicken bulgogi, we made some quick substitutes and upon delivery they had included some complimentary mandu which were delicious and a really kind gesture and really went the extra mile without having to. Overall, everything we got was delicious, flavorful, awesome portions and great as leftovers. The kimchi fries were very good, but I think better for dining in, as most fries are, so I would absolutely order and try them again on an in person visit, but maybe avoid for long drives. Thanks so the great Bibio team for a wonderful first experience and extra great service even while dining out!
