Bless the Manna staff for our group dinner. We were celebrating a birthday and the honoree had never eaten KBBQ (props to her for wanting to try a new style!) before so we were there awhile. Two of my friends could not recommend Manna enough, so I feel lucky I was able to make a reservation the day prior -- lots of places in the area don't take reservations for 10+ people, let alone for groups larger than 8-10, or some other terms and conditions. We arrived and were promptly seated at 2 tables next to another. The staff immediately got us going with drinks. I wish I could remember our main server's name. He was SO patient with us and calmly went thru the menu with his recos based on what we were thinking to eat. We never had to ask him to change out the skillet pan when it was getting burnt nor wait long for meats or sides when we ordered them. He had a sixth sense for them. So I've learned in the last few months KBBQ places usually don't have a full bar as Americans would expect it- most of the time It's different varieties of soju. Both of our tables ordered different foods - for me it was a fun experience trying new meats and flavors. The added value is that per person it's not very expensive compared to non-AYCE type restaurants. I paid ~$35 for myself, including a pop to drink. I was even able to order a meat that no one else wanted at my table, and not feel guilty for it. Definitely would come back here! read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too packed we were able to get a table as there are many. The service was good. It's got a decent selection of meats. My favorites were their Galbi and marinated bulgogi. Overall I would say this is a solid place to come for kbbq if you're craving that and nearby. My only two complaints was the table they sat us at had a very weak stove so we always needed to ask an employee to help turn up the eat each time we did a grill change and eventually we got tired of doing that so turned up the heat ourselves. My second complaint was for the price ($29.99) I felt this was too expensive for kbbq. There are probably cheaper options around the area that serve the same collections. Overall I'd give it a 6.8/10 because food was solid. read more

I was craving Korean bbq when I was in Mesa, AZ so we went here. For $29/person, and so many options, this place is a steal. Eat to your heart's content! I got most of the appetizers here, including green salad, japchae, gyoza, corn cheese, and fried chicken. For the meats, I mainly got the bulgogi, galbi, chadol baegi (beef brisket), and Manna steak. My favorite meats were the bulgogi and beef brisket. The japchae was soggy and way too sweet. The GYOZA and FRIED CHICKEN were the best, so make sure to order these. The corn cheese was standard and good. There are tons of tables inside and it is loud and busy... but good for the business. Customer service was on point, and the woman that helped us kept the food coming lol. She was very efficient and brought us all complimentary ice cream at the end. The only thing was the restrooms were outdated and were a little dirty since there was so much traffic inside. read more

But the first one unexpectedly closed for a hour without notice, and the 2nd one system issues so they weren't taking any customers. You know who was taking my money?? Manna! And you know what? I'm glad they did! A lot has changed at this location: more servers were present, more grill changes without being asked, and better service!! We've always liked Manna but knew we had to wait a while and be a little more patient... but they worked out their issues. We came right before the dinner rush, and had wonderful service! They offered my toddler a booster seat without is asking, refilled our drinks without asking, and checked in on us! Solid spot for AYCE KBBQ! I was in town for Giants spring training with my pops and he was feeling for some grilled meats. Of course I had to look up a KBBQ spot because we was HUNGRYYY. Gave Manna a try and thoroughly enjoyed it! Service was great and really quick. One thing which might be a small thing is when I asked for some sesame oil for my dipping sauce tray, the waitress gave me a whole bottle LOL This is have never happened to me before and I appreciate this heavyyyyy. An automatic refill at my discretion, would def reccomend this place if you're ever in the area. 10/10 read more

First time here and it did not disappoint! Even on a packed Friday night, our party of three was seated quickly. The $30 all-you-can-eat deal is a steal. Apps included and tons of different meats to choose from. The cheese corn was addicting (a new fav), and the beef bulgogi was my favorite meat we had. It's was our first time visiting Manna BBQ and we were lucky enough to beat most of the crowd. We only had to wait 20 minutes for a table. One thing I didn't like is that they wouldn't seat us (a party of 2) until they had a small table. I understand the need to try to keep larger tables for larger parties, but we saw parties that came in 20 minutes after us get seated before us. Kind of a bummer. I also don't love when restaurants have carpet. Not to be picky, but the floor was a mess. Napkins and bits of paper were all over the carpet down the aisles. That said, we really enjoyed our food. After we got seated, our server came right away. He was so nice and very helpful while going over everything we needed to know. I really liked him! There were fishcakes, kimchi, bean sprouts, cucumbers, and sliced radish at our table. It was all good--i really like the fish cakes! You can order three meats at a time, and unlimited amount of other items. We ordered beef bulgogi, spicy chicken, and garlic shrimp, along with gyoza, and fried rice. The gyoza and fried rice were really yummy! Then the meat came--huge portions of raw, marinated meat to cook on the tabletop grill. So much meat! It was all very delicious. We had originally decided what stuff we would order next, but we never made it past the first round--again, huge servings. And yummy!!! I think it is better to come to Korean barbecue with a bigger party so you have the chance to try different things. As a party of two, we just didn't have enough room. It would be nice to have half orders for smaller parties? We had a delicious (and pretty healthy) dinner at Manna BBQ. When we left, there were A LOT of people waiting for tables. Had a great time trying out Manna BBQ! My brother took us here because it's one of his favorites, and they didn't disappoint. We came for the lunch special and the restaurant was busy with lots of other patrons taking advantage of the deal. They start by offering banchan which included kimchi, bean sprouts, and pickled cucumber among some other items. It was the perfect starter, and they accompanied the various meats nicely so we could continue to enjoy throughout the meal. I also had the strawberry soju which was delicious! Our server did a great job explaining how it works and the various types of meats we can order. My brother did most of the ordering so I don't remember everything we tried, but the stands out were the spicy pork and galbi. Our grill light went out a few times and the staff was quick to relight it. We had so much dining at Manna and would definitely recommend it! read more

Honestly, I've been to quite a few Manna locations and this was my least favorite one :( Quality of the meat was on the lower end, the potato salad that comes in the banchan tastes bland and stale, the bean sprouts and fish cake also tasted a little stale. Service was slow, we had to ask for one dish 3 times before finally getting it. The servers also seemed confused as to which tables they're taking care of. Ambiance was okay, manna tends to be quieter compared to other KBBQ locations which is really good if you want to have conversation without yelling over loud music. I would avoid this particular Manna location, but my experiences at others have been solid. read more

My daughters and I always have a great time at Manna BBQ. The food is fantastic and the service is great, though there were a couple of times where we had to flag down the server. I've been craving KBBQ for awhile now and heard a lot about this chain in Arizona. I'm new to the area so I'm back to having to look for my new favorite spots and eateries-- I'm super glad to have been brought here as it did NOT disappoint. It's AYCE for a very fair price-- of $28 per person, which I find shocking as many KBBQ places in California charge $36+ per person. It extremely affordable! You have plenty of meat options to choose from, with some of my favorites being: beef belly, nuk gan sal, joomuluk and pork belly!!! They offer your typical bonchon but did order some corn cheese, salad & vegetables to grill as well. I wish the corn cheese has more mayo/cheese as I've had better corn cheese in other KBBQ places. Although it's AYCE, I enjoyed eating the vegetables if they added more zucchini and mushroom on the plate as I feel like we eat more of the white onion. Some orders they did forget, like an extra bowl of rice and other dishes we ordered but I think the staff is small so I totally understand. The place is also very clean and not too busy-- which I love. Would love to go here again... and often.. as it fits my diet on cheat days LOL read more

If you live near here don't be shy and stop on by! This place was busy on a Thursday night but we got seated after a short wait. They gave us 6 sides which were normal quality. We ordered gyoza but it was cold so we warmed it up on the grill and it turned out good. The cha dool was my favorite meat and honesty the portions were large for 2 people so be careful ordering too much! We also got the cheese corn and it was ok... but our service was very friendly and accommodating. Overall I think this is 4 stars and that's not bad. We will come back! read more

Great place. We love coming to Manna over other Korean bbq places. The price is $30 per person for all you can eat which is pretty decent. This includes sides like gyoza and fried rice. They have great cuts of meat and tons of options. They also offer alcohol like Soju and soft drinks. The staff was friendly overall. The only issue we had was we kept having to ask for refills of water and they would bring us a small jug for a party of 6 and would comment on how much water we would get but we were a large party. It's nice that the location also had fans on top of each table to help get smoke and smells out. The staff was great about taking our orders and would bring stuff out quick. Keep in mind they do have a 2 hour time limit but we didn't see them enforce it so just be polite and mindful. The food was awesome and we left super happy with the quality. read more

I'm new around Arizona, I just moved from San Diego and this is the third time I visited this place (I've been going to this place every weekend since I moved). We had the same server from the last two visits, it was Bre -- and she's just amazing! The rest of the staff is friendly, too! But Bre is top tier. She made sure that we got everything, and we don't even have to call her because she checks in on us. I feel like this spot is always busy, but I like how its not too loud. Arrived here around 2:30 today. Took a few minutes for us to be seated. It was just 2 of us. But once seated, our drink orders were taken right away and food orders right after that. We actually don't eat THAT much so didn't really get our money's worth for an all you can eat place. We ordered 1 Manna steak, 1 order of brisket, 2 orders of boneless marinated short rib, salad, jap chae, steamed egg, 2 fresh sojus, 1 sprite and 1 beer. Everything tasted pretty good except the steak. I feel like the steak coulda been a better quality. Steak was just ok. We were pretty full though after that. Waiters checked on us from time to time and the grill was changed once, which was enough for us. Overall, I still prefer non-all you can eat places but this wasn't bad read more

I love Manna but have never been to this location specifically. Since we were in the neighborhood, we stopped here for a birthday lunch. We were sat after only a 5 minute wait. We tried the tempura veggies, the KFC, the gyoza, and lots of kimchi and pickled veggies. Then we tried the meats - the Manna steak, bulgogi beef, brisket, beef belly and pork belly were our favorites. Service was not as prompt as we have experienced in the past - I think our server was either new, or very distracted. We asked for forks three times and he only brought one each time. I love mannas bbq I was on this side of town so I decided to stop by it was 8:55 and they do last call at 9:30 which is completely fine I had called ahead to reassure myself they had the same policy. The "host/server" told me "we close at 9:30 you still want to eat" I replied yes and she proceeded to say "mmm" and walked away to find a table which they were all cleaned and not a single in had a grill. I've went to Manna a few times over the years. The place has very friendly staff and they are quick too! Personally, I think it is the best tasting AYCE kbbq spot. Better than Brave and others but it is more pricy than Brave's happy hour deal. The ambiance is decent. It can get a bit loud. read more

Unfortunately never got to actually eat here. Came in on a Friday night my fault there. No host to take down our name luckily a patron let me know to write my name down waited 40 minutes. Saw a couple host/server running back and forth they were very busy but I would maybe recommend having a host on a busy night stay at the podium to direct patrons and let them know the estimated wait. When a host/server finally talked to us he explained that they close the kitchen in 30mins. Although the food was delicious (compliments to the chef! ), the service was disappointing. We were one of the only new tables, as most others were getting ready to leave, yet the staff lacked urgency. Since it was our first time here, we mentioned that to our server, but she didn't explain much and kind of left us to fend for ourselves. When she mentioned the appetizers, she just said we were limited to two, but didn't clarify that it was two at a time and actually unlimited. That was confusing and could've been explained better. She took our initial order and then disappeared. Throughout our meal, we had to track down different servers just to order more meat or get refills. At one point, they left us alone so long that our grill started smoking because we had nothing left to cook. We even had to go looking for someone just to place our last order and pay because we knew we wouldn't see them for a while lol.
