A hidden gem, this place has been hiding in plain site!!!! I loved Rice Paper, and if you enjoy Vietnamese food you have to check this place out. I came here with friends on a Tuesday evening around 630. It wasn't very busy and there was parking around back. Indoor and outdoor seating is available here. Lots of cool decor on the walls and ceilings here, with a bar area right in the middle. My friends and I all got spring rolls and they at not your typical spring rolls. These were huge and came in a pair. I tried the Miss Piggy spring rolls and really enjoyed them. For my entree I tried the Tofu and Shiitake Mushroom Banh Mi with garlic fries. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! Steve was our server and he was great. I cannot wait to come back here and think everyone should check this place out! read more

Another neighborhood place we ordered from a few times during the COVID year but only tried it in person last week! Food was excellent, especially the salad rolls. My kid loved the filet mignon pho and the Thai iced tea. The garlic fries were surprisingly good especially the spicy aioli. Super cute but small interior, friendly and quick service, parking behind the restaurant (enter from 7th Street and ignore Google maps). read more

Rice Paper has very tasty vegan options on their menu which are clearly marked vegan. The Sunshine fresh spring roll was really yummy. I especially liked the crunch from the tempura asparagus. We also had the Crispy Rice Hot Skillet which was packed with delicious flavorful rice and vegetables. Our server was super friendly. He was the only server and the place was packed, but he did a great job taking care of everyone. read more

It's a great date place. Go in with the intent to share! We got 2 spring rolls, some deep-fried ones to try and then some chicken sewers. It was plenty for two of us. And the service was perfect! Not too attentive but since it wasn't horribly busy, it was great! read more

Went to Rice Paper on 7th last week with a group of four friends. I tried the spicy Asian fresh spring rolls (Tom Chien Va Cua), lemongrass chicken, and a sake bomb for drinks. For dessert, we had the triple fudge topped with green mango slices, which was really good. My orders came out right on time, though my friends who ordered later did have to wait quite a bit longer. Even so, I'd still say the service was good overall. Nice spot with solid food and a fun group-dining vibe. read more

One of the best hidden pho spots in Phoenix. The Vietnamese iced coffee was delicious.

My favorite place for Pho when it starts to cool down or when you're feeling a bit sick. That warm broth, noodles and Sriracha are my winning combination! They have vegan broth and excellent prepared tofu! My family and I have been coming to Rice Paper for years and am kicking myself for not dropping a review! Service and cleanliness is always top notch! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The bulldog mural in the bathroom always makes me laugh! If I had to complain about Rice Paper, their parking lot gets easily flooded during the monsoon! Mother Nature takes over and not in their control. read more

I stopped by Rice Paper on 7th and had a mixed experience. The restaurant is located in a small house along 7th Street, which gives it a cozy and casual neighborhood feel. The menu is labeled as a "spring roll bar," and they offer a variety of spring rolls with different fillings. They also serve pho, Vietnamese sandwiches, and a few appetizers. When I hear "spring roll bar," I imagine something more interactive where you assemble your own rolls, but here each order comes as a plated dish. I eat Vietnamese food fairly often, so I may be comparing it to other spots around the city, but I did find the pricing to be on the higher side. Some spring roll plates are around $12 for two rolls, and many of the other menu items like pho and sandwiches are also priced higher than what I typically see at Vietnamese restaurants. Overall, the house setting is charming and the concept is interesting, but the pricing and format didn't quite match what I expected from something described as a spring roll bar. Also the Service here is a hit or miss. . I came on a Wednesday and it seemed fairly busy, yet the service was good, and another time I came on a Friday evening and the service was terrible. read more

Went out to eat with friends and decided to get some pho for lunch. The food was all very good and tasted fresh and authentic. Everyone enjoyed their meal!! I got Pho Filet Mignon and the Vietnamese iced coffee. We all shared wings and chicken spring roll. The service was quick and our waiter was polite. The restraint is beautiful and so cozy :). Lots of outdoor seating which is great. Price was shockingly not too bad :) . On Sundays the pho is half off!! A steal! read more

Decent Vietnamese spot. Spring rolls are a must. So many different options and the portion is huge. Also got their pho but it was on the smaller size. Probably wouldn't get pho again here. Service is fine and place is very hipster and nice. read more

Rice Paper has been on my list of restaurants to try for a while now and it did not disappoint. We were able to grab a high top without any wait. The interior is small but tables are placed well with a bar in the middle. Service was good. Food was quick and my shaking beef was delicious. Perfect medium rare with a good rich sauce. A must try. read more

Stopped in for an early dinner on a Thursday and didn't have any trouble finding parking or a table inside. The service was fast and friendly and helpful when trying to decide what to order. I got the pho chay and it was pretty good. The veggies all seemed fresh and were delicious. We also tried the shaking beef, which was also tasty. I'm looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu. read more

I've always gone to pho 43rd but I must say this place has become the BEST PHO VIETNAMESE to dine in. Cathy is an amazing hostess, by far the best service I've ever gotten! Definitely coming back! Thank you for everything! The broth was delicious! The music was spot on! The service was EXCELLENT!! The atmosphere was to the TEEE!!!! read more

food was really good quality. if you're craving spring rolls definitely go here because that's what they're known for. I liked how the food came super quickly and the atmosphere was super cute. The only thing that sucked was the parking outside, they don't have a lot of parking spaces so we had to park a block away. read more

I love the pho here! The broth is super good, and we appreciate the half-off pho happy hour on Sundays. Service is friendly. The only issue I've had is that the parking is hard to get into and there's not a lot of room at this specific location, but I would just suggest you avoid the rush times if you're picky about parking. The drinks here are good too! Definitely a cute atmosphere if you need somewhere lowkey to meet with friends. read more

Service is atrocious and the prices are obscene. My favorite is waiting over 10 minutes to pay after I'm done, after waiting 5 minutes to even be acknowledged and another 5 before ordering. Go to Da Vang, Pho Thanh, Pho Noodles, Pho 43, or if you are south go to Pho Laveen. This place is confusingly bad. read more

Went today and it was very good. There was a long line outside but they were able to get everyone in and seated within a reasonable amount of time- the wait staff was nice and we were taken care of quickly. Very cute on the outside and inside as well, the decor was fun. The food was so good. The rice paper spring roll (seared tuna) was nice and fresh, crispy and refreshing. The crunchy (pork) spring rolls were so good as well AND The pho (mignon) was delicious. We are already wanting to come back to try more! read more

A great meal. Ordered Saigon Salad and Crispy Rice with Shrimp. The mix of hot and cold dishes hit the spot. And just so we're clear; the service was excellent. Two servers at the bar were attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. I like the ambiance of this one better than the other brick and mortar. The experience was a wee bit more genuine and authentic, though the portions may be smaller (not 100% on that). Tonight's dinner was a home run. read more

I was really excited to try this place out after reading the reviews. I'd say overall it was very good, just overpriced. The grilled pork bahn mi is a whopping $16 but it did come with a side of fries. I rather just have the sandwich on its own and pay less. It wasn't huge either but the quality and flavor were on point! The lemon grass chicken was my favorite. Very good chicken and tons of bright flavors! Our least favorite dish...surprisingly the pho! Again the steak in the pho was good quality and they were not stingy about the serving but the broth itself was just ok and the noodles tasted a bit too "wheaty". Again the prices were more than your typical pho place but quality and flavor made up for it read more

Paid 62$ and they forgot my steak. And he blamed me. Had some vegetarian pho tonight lol will not be returning unfortunately

This spot is going to become a staple! Went for date night and had such a pleasant experience. The ambiance is cozy and charming which I love and sitting inside gives a cozy date night feel that is a stark contrast to the physical location. I loved everything I tried and am ready to go back to try other things on the menu. Price: great value Food: rice paper rolls like I've never seen! Drinks: full bar Service: kind & efficient staff Ambiance: cozy, dark, intimate (there's a patio, too) Good for: vegetarian date night, filling lunch, ordering out read more

I think this is a great spot to meet up with small parties. The decor is very eclectic and trendy, and the staff also give off a cool and friendly vibe. Seating and parking are a bit tight, so be mindful of that when coming here. In terms of the food, it tasted great. It might be a little bit more expensive than other asian restaurants, but I don't think it's unreasonable. The pho was packed with flavors and the spring rolls were delicious (they were massive). I had a great time here and recommend this place! read more

Came here on a Friday evening with some friends & we sat ourselves at a table. Menu is quite extensive but we opted for the shrimp spring rolls and I ordered the small Pho Dac Biet. The spring rolls tasted good at first but then I bit onto some hard bits which was unpleasant. Not a lot of service from anyone. The pho broth was okay, lacked a bit of flavor/spice but wasn't horrible. Some of the beef tasted good, but I noticed some pieces were unpleasant to chew and I spit a bit out. Overall, I probably would not come back here, I paid $16 for a small bowl of pho that wasn't that great. There are many other pho restaurants that have better tasting pho, larger portions, for a much lower price. read more

Welp ... sorry to back at it again, i try and keep it real when i can. We have been here in the past and had a great time and great food , today was lack luster. Seemed like maybe they had some things going on but bartender was very bland and almost seemed like we should not have been there she was quick to ask for order and kind of ... well mean or maybe that's just her personality. All and all just didn't feel welcoming. Don't enjoy throwing these reviews in but maybe it will help the next person going in, again good was great we had a very simple order, garlic noodles and spider roll. I don't might be my last visit. No secret menu options this times team didn't feel like being dogged down if i asked. read more

The service was terrible. Went the other day and it took over half an hour to get a water and another 30 minutes to get my food. Was not asked if I needed anything like silverware or condiments. Looking for a quick pho place before heading to airport and found this place. First thing on the menu that was surprising was the price, definitely on the higher end. We ordered pho, chicken wings, and vermicelli bowl. Pho was so small and not much flavor and barely any broth . The pork in the vermicelli bowl was salty and didn't have any herbs except for bean sprouts and lettuce. Chicken wing was alright, still on the saltier side. Probably won't be back. read more

It's such an interesting place. Not a typical Vietnamese restaurant as the bar is such a centerpiece. And I didn't see another Vietnamese looking person so that says a lot. I would characterize these spring rolls as almost burrito-like given the girth. I tried two, and I could not finish the second, because it was so filling. The ones I tried: Phat Buddha - the cream cheese is a super odd filling for a spring roll and did not combine all too well with the peanut sauce as the textures seemed too similar. Typical spring rolls don't have that kind of texture inside so I was thrown off. The mango did not add any sweetness or tartness or added texture. I would probably recommend they use a green mango to make it stand out. 4 stars. Enlighten me - now that hit the spot. Great combo of spice and texture and paired nicely with the peanut sauce. I would go here just for that. 5 stars. Overall, a little more pricey for typical spring rolls but these are far from typical. Definitely worth a try but get out of expecting a very Vietnamese place. read more
