Fantastic service and attitude from Serge and Paul, broke down the large office pieces and took care to not bang up our freshly painted walls at our new location. My wife and I just got a new place and needed reliable and strong movers to help. We saw craig's movers and contacted them. They answered immediately and were very professional. They arrived on time they said they'll be here and all 3 movers (Serge, Nate, and Zack) were excellent! They moved anything you asked and even moved things we thought were unmoveable (heavy adjustable bed)! On top of all the good things I have to say, they are really quick! The great thing about yelp is the chance to receive honest feedback. Hopefully this prepares people who followed all the "5-star" reviews here as I had. So using Craigs Mover was half good and half bad in my experience. I received an estimate from Serge for an apartment move, he told me about his rates, no min. move time, etc. and we set up a time. The arrival was not exactly on time, but he had been running a little late from a previous move -- fine. He had a huge truck and help -- better. Move out was nice, they hustled, we made sure everyone was hydrated, it was -- great. I was happy and could not wait to tip big. However, the move "in" to the new place changed everything. Movers started taking their time, one of the guys kept trying to sell his "side" business every time he brought a box in. (I'm fine with side chat, but can you get your job done first before trying to sell another service to me?) Anyway, it was a little off-putting, but I endured. Maybe they had realized the move was not taking as long as they thought because by the end of it all, Serge decided to disappear - drumming up business with one of my new neighbors? who knows? So here I am, waiting for him with his crew for about half an hour. What was worse is that he charged me for that waiting time, even though the move was already finished. I got charged for that time plus extra time for their drive back, which he failed to mention beforehand -- bad. 5 hrs for a 1-bedroom move less than 10 mi away -- really? All in all, I was just glad it was done and over with. For those thinking about using Craigs Movers, make sure you keep track of the time and watch everything! Serge is a total stud in that he does exactly what you need him to do--moves your stuff quickly, efficiently and honestly. We had a pretty stressful move in that we REALLY didn't want to leave our apartment in Tustin but work circumstances pretty much dictated that we take the plunge and find a place in West LA. Well, our new one bedroom is 300 sq ft smaller, and doesn't come with a garage or storage of any kind (and as an extra bonus, it's more expensive...yay, LA!). Anyway, Serge was one of the movers I found off Yelp who actually picked up the phone and gave me a quote right away. Asked me to text him the destination address and the time/place of our meetup. Showed up with a HUGE truck and an extra helper in tow. Like champs, they ran up and down the stairs to our third-story apartment and hustled to get everything into the truck, secured and bolted. The things we simply couldn't take, Serge offered to take off our hands, which was actually kind of awesome in that it saved us from any more moving headaches. We had a long drive ahead of us and hit a bit of traffic. Since he charges hourly, this kind of sucked for us, but was also totally fair in that, like it or not, he and his team are still on the clock, working for you. Since Serge knew I really didn't want to pay a lot for the move, he was actually jogging when it came time to move stuff in. Literally, he and his worker were jogging to the truck at several points so as to cut down on time. That was totally unexpected and absolutely appreciated (the money we saved, we ended up tipping him with--it only seemed right). NOTHING got broken, all the heavy/bulky stuff made its way down the three flights of stairs and into our new, labyrinthine hallway and apartment and it was all done with a cheerful attitude and a little Russian small talk (oh yeah, forgot to mention that he's from the motherland!) In a world full of shysters, flakes, and complete douche bags its nice to run across a gem every now and then. Serge is a diamond in the ruff in terms of movers. My whole life I have had bad luck in terms of having to move often. On average once a year. It's to the point where I absolutely dread moving now. Serge however takes the stress and aggravation out of the experience. He arrives on time and doesn't play around. Every time I have called to have him move me it has been short notice and he busts it out. Mind you I have some very heavy and fragile items. I have not had a single item broken or damaged. That to me means everything. I work very hard for my things and he is sympathetic to that. I have to be honest the first time he showed up and started moving some of my heaviest items with his team I was dubious. But don't let his size fool you this dude is strong as an ox. I was impressed to say the least. My only complaint is that I didn't find him sooner. And that's the honest truth. I will have to unfortunately move again in the next couple of mos and I will definitely be calling on Serge for the job. He also offers storage as well and his prices are way cheaper than the competitors. I should of written this review years ago. Serge and his brother Paul helped me move twice within the last month. They are very polite, helpful, and professional. During Dec I had to move all my things out of my old apartment to a friend's garage for storage. I didn't find a mover until the last minute. I had only a queen size bed, a desk, one small table, and some boxes. All other moving companies quoted me for over $300, some close to 400, to move from Costa mesa to Irvine. So I searched on yelp and read all the reviews, then decided to give Craigs Mover a try. Serge showed up just couple hours later and charged me a very reasonable price for last minute help! Any time you mention you're hiring movers, the first response is always to be careful who you hire because they will rip you off. Having read all the good reviews for Craigs, I figured I'd give him a chance. Craig promptly called me to go over the details of my move and he gave me a fair and reasonable quote. Actually, who am I kidding, his price was better than anyone else I called. He had a flat rate for 3 hours and an hourly rate after that. I knew he could easily run the time up but so could everyone else. On the day of the move he was early and between him and his helper they hauled ass loading up the truck. Now it wasn't a huge move but it wasn't a studio either. A 2 bedroom with dining and patio furniture was loaded up, transported (only a few miles away) and unloaded in 2 hours 25 minutes. Nothing was broken, nothing was lost and everything was where it belonged. I would have been OK if he had taken much longer. It wouldn't have seemed out of the ordinary. But Craig did it fast and was done well before I expected. I'd recommend them to anyone and I'll use him any time I need a move again. read more

Serge came highly recommended, and I now see why! -Prepared - they asked about the contents I needed moved, and brought the right-sized truck to fit; wardrobe boxes made it really easy to transport hanging clothes. - Super efficient - these guys were running full speed up and down the stairs, and were able to navigate tough corners. - Great communicators - they asked where I wanted the boxes and furniture, and were patient when things needed to be adjusted. - Careful - no scratches, bumps, or breaks throughout the move. - Experienced - I have a VERY complicated bedframe with drawers, that they managed to disassemble and reassemble without the directions. I paid a reasonable rate for 3 hours, and then additional for each hour following that. Mounting TVs was an extra cost, but so worth it! Overall a great experience. What a life saver! We had two movers that bailed out on us the morning of the move. After multiple phone calls, I came across Craigs Mover. Serge was able to fit us in at the last minute. Serge came with a helper and they were super friendly and professional. They worked super fast and hard for 4 hours. He quoted me a $275 for 1000sf to a 1500sf house but we ended giving them $400 because we wanted to since they worked so hard. They were drenched with sweat but still had a smile on their faces. We had about 4 bedrooms worth of stuff crammed into a 1000sf space. They had to do two rounds to get all our items to the new space. We were very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs moving. Just remember to book ahead of time. We waited last minute to hire movers and Serge accommodated us within days! They were both very friendly, nice, efficient and super hard workers! They took time to wrap our furniture and point out any prior issues with specific pieces before loading them carefully into their truck. I have mirrored furniture pieces (console and side tables) that I was extra concerned about prior to meeting them and they moved it to our new house safely with no chips or cracks! Now I know why they have such a high rating! They made our move quick and stress free. They arrived a few minutes early and technically our move sounded easy. We needed them to move all of our things from our rental to our new home and to just pack everything in our garage. At first glance you would think we had 3 kids but no, we only have one 18 month old. How does an 18 month old accumulate so much toys and crap is beyond me but yes the movers were able to move everything for us in less than 4 hours which was awesome. Nothing was damaged and hell a lot of our things weren't even boxed up properly. (toys and baby shit) Thanks guys for your help!!! We used Serge and his partner to move out of our home. He showed up in a nice moving truck with movers blankets and plastic shrink wrap to protect furniture. These guys waste no time in loading up. They are quick but yet careful not to bang up furniture. They offered to help us come the following day without an appointment to complete the move and take stuff to storage. Now, about 8 hours later, I'm sitting on the couch I found on craigslist last night while typing this review, of course after some cleaning :) -Dependable Serge told me earlier today that he could do tonight at 9. When trying to coordinate 3 different parties (mover, craigslist poster, and of course my own hectic schedule), it's crucial to have someone you can rely on. These guys won't let you down - Serge was on time (early actually), and between either text or call was responsive whenever I needed to get ahold of him to confirm times or addresses. -Flexible One day turnaround, and we moved the stuff at 9pm. Could have also done it on the weekend, but how much do you really get done on weeknights anyway, and how much better is it now having my Saturday and Sunday free? And what moving company is going to move you at 9pm? -Professional This isn't just some random guy with a van. Serge is an absolute professional - clean cut, courteous, and with a focus on getting the job done properly and efficiently - yet still friendly, almost to the point it does feel like I've got a buddy helping me move. Strikes just the right balance. -Cost efficient To get the level of reliability and service these guys deliver, you're going to pay a professional mover 300 or 400 dollars, at LEAST. Enough said Bottom line: I doubt you will find a better moving experience in OC. With same-day service at the price they ask, you're just wasting your time looking elsewhere. Their pricing is very clear; no hidden fees, no double miles crap, no service fees. As for the move, these guys are fast! They are impressively strong too. They moved all my furnitures in less than 3 hrs. However, my husband and I packed and wrapped all of our belongs, including furnitures, and moved everything that we can carry ourselves into the garage to not waste time and money. So all they did was load and unload. But we had stairs in both places so it wasn't easy. We also double wrapped any furnitures that we were afraid would get damaged. They did a perfect job, no damages. They also delivered a huge sectional for me to someone else's house on the way to my new place, free of charge. Note: tip them well, they deserve it (we tipped them $50/each). Do not haggle the price; you shouldn't negotiate service. I used craigsmover for a move from Rancho Santa Margarita to Ladera Ranch. From my very first contact with Serge on the phone, this was a great experience, he was friendly and gave me quote right away. What I really appreciated was that it was simple, straight and to the point, they were not a bunch of hidden fees (examples stair fees, double drive time, fuel charge) it was just a flat hourly rate. I called a lot of companies that wouldn't just tell me the price straight up and asked me a bunch of questions...Serge quoted me right away. The 2 movers who did my move were Rob and Justin.....super cool guys. They called me about 20 mins before to let me know they were on their way, and I also recieved a call from Serge letting me know they were on their way. When they arrived at my condo they loaded the truck up fast, including my garage. They were careful with my moving my belongings and also careful with the pacmkng of the truck. They didn't take any breaks and were constantly moving and working at my old house...they took a break after loading but they were busy the whole time while they were on the clock. I also recieved a check in call from Serge when they were on the way to the new place to see how the move was going. It's awesome that the owner of the company checks in! Overall I am extremely happy that I chose this company for my move! Hopefully I don't have to move again anytime soon but if I do I will be calling Serge and his crew again. Last Sunday, I was in need of a mover. I found a great couch at Craigslist. The problem is I don't have a big car or people that would help me move the couch. The owner of the couch pre-warned me that the couch is very heavy and bulky and they live in a Town House that has multiple stairs and that he recommends getting two big guys to move it. So I called a lot of moving company, most of them ask for too much. I only have one couch to move and five miles to move it to. I happen to come-upon Craigs Mover at Yelp. Serge the owner answered his phone right away and gave me a reasonable price. He showed-up within couple of hours, on time. They move the couch no problem.
