Shift It Moving did a great job for me moving across town in Long Beach! Wesley was a fast and clear communicator in booking my move date. I got a text from Wesley a few minutes before Robert and Tony showed up - on time, of course! Robert and Tony worked efficiently and treated my belongings with care. The space I was moving into had smaller doorways, and they even had to remove a door from its hinges in order to get some of my furnishings in. They did it quickly and returned it to the door frame when they were done. I had one scare, I couldn't find the extra table leaves for my dining room table after I started putting things in their place. I texted Wesley, and he responded quickly saying that they double checked the truck and there was nothing in it. Later that evening, I looked under the guest bedroom, which was where the table leaves had been stashed in my other home, and Tony and Robert had returned the table leaves Under the bed, just where they found them at my first house! Their rates were extremely reasonable, I had used a less professional Moving duo when I moved into this home, and shift it did better work at a lower price! The staff at Shift It Moving have a lot of experience and take great care of our items. Specifically, we have more than 100 rolls of fabric, each measuring 5 to 6 feet in length, stored on the second floor. The staff skillfully load each roll from the open area on the second floor to the first floor, which has saved a lot of manpower and time in moving the fabric. Additionally, I was impressed that they were able to disassemble the heavy fabric cutting table (16'L x 6'W x 4'H) into a few pieces at the old location and reinstall it as a 12'L table to fit the new location. During the move, All the staff worked hard, never complained or argued about our unreasonable demands, and efficiently assisted us with this transition. I was referred to this business by a friend and although we weren't able to use them I still want to leave a review. Wesley worked with me to try accommodate my date changes due to the sellers on the house we were moving to failing to meet deadlines. He was so patient and helpful never giving an attitude when I cancelled only days before the scheduled move. My friend had referred the business as being honest and professional and I can see why. We recently had a big 4 bedroom house move from the valley to Northern California. We got 6 total estimates from different local moving companies. From estimate to completing the job shift were excellent communicators. They came recommended, had a very competitive quote and had a really great attitude so they were the obvious choice. I was not finished packing but they helped me across the finish line with extra hands. I thought I was 90 percent finished but I see now the last part of a move is hardest and i don't think I was even close to done. Without hesitation they started making boxes and pushing the move into the final stretch. They were incredibly respectful with all my stuff and checked in to make sure I didn't lose track of the things they packed. they packed the truck quickly and were on the move up the coast in no time. Unloading was even more efficient, everything was off the truck in a couple hours and all the rugs and furniture was in place, and it one piece, with no damage. I cannot commend them enough how well they managed not only the exhausting work, but also the stress of moving. I've hired movers several times and this was the largest and easiest move.
