Just had a fantastic experience with the team - Joshua, Carlos, and Bryan. They gave us an hour window for arrival and called 15 minutes before to help us prepare. All of our goods were wrapped and prepped for delivery making us confident in the safety of our items. The team was very pleasant and communicative with my husband and I. I was able to book our move out about two weeks prior and the company's reminders helped keep us on track. The crew that moved us - Omar, Geovanny, and Kevin- arrived right when they said they would and hit the ground running. They helped us out a few last minute items we needed packed and had everything out and into our new space right away. They were very personable and made a stressful day eons easier. I found OC Moving Services through an Instagram ad and decided to take a chance on their services because I was needing to relocate. It was SO worth it - Siroj and the rest of the customer service staff were very responsive with my scheduling needs and moving questions vis email and phone. It was my first time using a moving service in general and their friendly and informative demeanor put me at ease. Pricing was also explained well. On moving day, I met Juan and his team -- they were notably efficient and I could tell they cared about my belongings and my experience with their business. They packed up everything in my apartment within 2 hours then we completed the move-in process by the end of the 3rd hour. I was really impressed. Overall I would definitely recommend OC Moving Services, moving is a really vulnerable thing to trust people with and I felt taken care of. read more

I used this service again because I had a really positive experience the first time. I didn't get the discount through the Mod24 trial this time, but I think their prices are reasonably competitive if paid in cash, though I wish they didn't require a $200 deposit by card, which has a 5% transaction fee... I reserved a morning spot (9-10 AM arrival) because they told me the window for arrival would be smaller than an evening appointment. They did arrive just past 10 due to understaffing around the holidays, which is understandable, but I wish I had not been advised to be ready for them to contact me any time between 7-9. Just expect that they will arrive generally on time. Juan and Jonathan moved my studio apartment into storage. Juan was especially friendly, with lots of jokes and helpful expertise that somehow fit all my things into the fairly tight storage unit. He also accommodated my concerns about stacking heavy items on delicate furniture and flimsier containers. Overall, some things could've been better, but I would still use this service again. read more

These guys worked non-stop and fast while carefully wrapping furniture with plastic and furniture pads. Boxes upon boxes were stacked and moved out. The guys were friendly and professional. This was not their first rodeo and it showed. They were on a mission! We led them to the destination and they efficiently brought everything into the new unit, unwrapped and placed all the contents of the former home. 4.25 hours later and the moving nightmare was completed. Everything appears to be in tip top shape. They even offered to have us look in the truck to be sure nothing was left behind. Thorough and again, professional. They ate not only very nice and polite but they helped me load and unload my storage vehicle. They helped me back in and then even back out. The Private Car Storage operation is completely different than anywhere else I've ever stored my vehicles. The Irvine location is very unique because they have a very large client that has dozens of vehicles. Because of this it's almost like they have extra time on their hands and give the rest of their clients unbelievable, Neiman Marcus like service. The customer service here is similar to checking into a Ritz Carlton. Everyone and I mean everyone I have met is absolutely outstanding. I don't know if it's a coincidence that everyone is awesome or perhaps it's the management that really knows what they're doing when they hire and train people. Prior to the move, I discussed pricing and payment terms directly with the owner/manager and confirmed the agreed-upon amount. However, when the movers arrived, they immediately demanded cash up front and refused to provide any services unless payment was made on the spot. This directly contradicted the prior agreement. After loading the couches, they demanded an additional $100 that had never been disclosed or authorized. The situation felt coercive and inappropriate. In addition to the payment dispute, the movers caused multiple damages: * One of the couches was damaged. * The garage door was damaged. * A component of the security system on the back door was broken. Furthermore, one of the workers raised his voice and yelled at my wife and daughter. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. When I contacted the company to request information regarding their insurance coverage for the damages, they refused to provide any details. This company demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution.

Fernando was so great to work with that we hired them again for our full cross-country move from California to New York once our home sold. They made the cross-country move feel effortless, and our belongings arrived the day after we flew in. The entire process was seamless.
