I cannot say enough wonderful things about 24/7 Moving Company. Alex and his crew are stellar. I had a complicated move that included moving the contents of two condos to one location with three escrows that each had targeted closing dates that changed. The moves were from my mom's condo in La Mesa and my condo in San Carlos to a house in Alpine. I contacted three moving companies that had excellent ratings on Yelp. I needed one household to be completely professionally packed up and moved, and one household that needed to be partially professionally packed and then moved. I have a lot of antique china and crystal that I was worried about safely packing myself. Two of the companies asked for basic information; how many stories, if there was a garage, how many bedrooms. Both of them gave me an estimated time and minimum requirement. Because I have lots of furniture and a number of really heavy pieces that would need to come down three flights of stairs with a turn in one of the flights, and a garage full of way too much, I was wary of the over the phone/online estimates. When I called 24/7, Alex immediately made an appointment with me to come out to see both condos. After doing a walk through, he said it would take four of his men and two trucks 10 hours to move my condo; three movers and one truck at 9.25 hours to move my mom. I knew his quote was far more realistic than the blind estimates from the other companies. I arranged the moving dates with Alex based on the information that I had from the escrow companies for the sales of our condos. None of the closing dates came in on time. I had to change every date I had arranged with Alex, and I had to do it a number of times. Each time he immediately responded and said it would be no problem. My mom's move ended up needing to go to storage first, as she had to move because her escrow closed before the house escrow closed and we had to get her things out of her place. I contacted Alex to find out how big of a storage unit I needed because I had absolutely no idea. He said I needed a 10X25. I found a 10X30 unit that I was able to get at A-1 Storage in Mission Valley (for which I must write a review because they were excellent) that was on sale for the first month with no obligation to take it longer. The packing crew that came to my mom's, Alfredo, Jose and Eduardo, could not have been more pleasant and professional. They were so nice and accommodating, never came up for air, and packed beautifully. The next day, Jose, Jorge and Edgar moved everything to storage. They did a perfect job getting everything in with room to spare - they could have made a 10X25 work, just as Alex had said, but only because they are masters at puzzles. We who are not puzzlemasters could never have made it work. When it was time to move from storage to the house, Jose, Jorge and Yoani came and loaded the truck, drove to Alpine and unloaded the truck placing everything where we asked, and before they left set up two beds, one that is rather complicated. When it was time for my move, the packers, Alfredo, Jorge and Victor, were again, excellent. The packing went very smoothly and as quoted. On the day of the move, Jose, Nick, Ura, and Victor came. They began at 9:00am and never stopped for 11 hours straight. There was not one scratch or any damage to any of our three flights of travertine and marble stairs. None of the walls were banged or scratched. When we arrived in Alpine, Alex met the crew to help them unload. It started to rain and hail, and it never let up. The crew literally ran with items into the house to keep things from getting too wet. There are stairs with narrow turning places and they brought extremely heavy things into very difficult spaces. I don't even know how they could see straight at that point. Then they set up the beds. It took them 11 hours and because Alex quoted 10 hours, he only charged us for 10, which I did not expect. I would not have batted an eye if he had charged for the additional hour. Although this entire experience could have been a nightmare, 24/7 could not have been more accommodating, more professional, more pleasant or given us a better feeling of being in secure hands. They were all happy and kind to each other and worked in perfect unison. They never complained or made it seem like anything was a burden. For every packing and moving day the crew arrived perfectly on time. Several days after the move we could not find an antique coffee table that belonged to my grandparents. Alex called me to tell me they had found the table, it had been hiding in a box under furniture blankets in the dark. He personally delivered it to us. Just to finish up, I have unpacked most of our boxes, and there has been zero breakage. Thank you Alex and your outstanding team for your outstanding service! The best!! Very professional, thoughtful and willing to go above and beyond during the entire moving day~ Last week I needed to move on short notice, so I called 24/7 moving and storage. 24/7MS responded to all my emails very quickly, professionally, and were very flexible with my changing needs (eg, time of day to move based on freight elevator availability, and my needs for help packing versus just help moving). I always felt assured this company would gladly be capable of whatever I needed and asked for. On my actual moving day the movers, Anton and Igor, updated me regarding their ETA and arrived within they're scheduled window. Despite the mix up with another resident and the use of the freight elevator (I lived on the 14th floor and someone was using it without a reservation), they remained very polite and got to work regardless as soon as the paperwork was signed. During the whole move Igor and Anton were extremely professional, were very pleasant people to be around, and were kind and thoughtful with all my furniture and belongings. Every single item I owned made it to my new apartment in the exact condition it started, which is amazing - the glass, my white/cream furniture and even oddly shaped items that I hadn't packed yet - everything was wrapped nicely and made the transportation perfectly. Anton and Igor carefully disassembled and re-assembled furniture as necessary, even had a great eye for furniture placement once in my apartment, and were willing to rearrange some very heavy pieces when I changed my mind about placement. Igor and Anton were always happy to help in any way that I needed, even though the moving day was long. One example of this, is that since my new apartment is a bit smaller than my old one, I suggested they place my extra moving crates on my balcony as a temporary solution. They were happy to stack all my crates nicely for me with the labels facing inward. THEN, even after an extremely long moving day, papers signed, they were paid, Anton and Igor realized that it would likely rain the next day so upon their suggestion they gladly wrapped my crates so that my belongings inside would not get wet the next day. This was a very good thing because it did in fact rain that night! The next morning I woke up in a beautiful, well organized apartment with all my furniture and belongings where I liked them, clean, dry, safe and secured. :) Thanks again to Igor and Anton! Ladies (and gentlemen), let me make this easy for you. Here's yet, another, 5-star review. I'm a single, mid-30s, do-it-all-herself kind of girl. This company was highly recommended to me by a close friend, and I still compared their rates to 6 other companies, and no one gave me a better rate. And they offer discounts. Nick and Edgar arrived in timely fashion. They were friendly, cordial and considerate of dogs, odd-shaped furniture and random happenstance. I requested they arrive with an electric drill to help disassemble my bed, and even surprised them with an additional furniture pickup, which, due to it's simple nature, kept them unfazed and my rate unchanged (because NO additional fees within reason). Granted, I had mostly one room to move and considerable heavy boxes, but LOTS of priceless keepsakes I had collected on precious travels, and they took care to wrap EVERY non-box with blankets and plastic, including the bed frame and mattresses (I had no idea that was included!). They were so considerate of my stuff, I have no idea how to express my joy - it was such a stressful time. I really needed sweet, jovial, energetic movers who gave a shit about my shit! The first move took 40 minutes, then the unexpected couch pickup, then the unload. And yet, we fell an hour short of the 3 hour minimum! So naturally, they roll out, right? WRONG! I told them I had a friend coming over to help reassemble my bed frame, but they insisted they go to work. Can they unwrap the mattresses, too? Sure... They probably would've started unpacking my dishes had I not felt so guilty for all the surprises and requests for additional handywork, and all for less than $300! Therefore, this is THE company you want to help move you. They are so SO nice, considerate, empathetic... I honestly cannot say enough nice things about my experience. I will certainly recommend them to everyone I know and all of my friends and family will only go through them in the future. Also, I really look forward to seeing Nick and Edgar again! I recently had the misfortune of hiring 24/7 Moving and Storage for my relocation needs, and I must say it was an utterly terrible experience from start to finish. I strongly advise against entrusting your belongings to this company due to their unprofessionalism, negligence, and lack of integrity. First and foremost, the movers themselves were extremely unpleasant. Not only did they exhibit a strong and offensive odor, but their overall demeanor was careless and unprofessional. It was evident that they did not take pride in their work and lacked basic etiquette when dealing with customers. To make matters worse, the movers went as far as harassing me for tips throughout the entire process. Their behavior was completely unacceptable and added unnecessary stress to an already challenging situation. As a customer, I expect to be treated respectfully, not badgered for additional compensation. Furthermore, the condition in which my belongings arrived at my new residence was appalling. All of my wardrobes were broken and dirty, rendering them unsuitable for my clothes. It was clear that no care or attention had been given to protecting my items during the move. This level of negligence is simply inexcusable and demonstrates a complete disregard for the customer's property. In addition to the damage caused to my belongings, the movers also scratched my floor while moving heavy furniture. Surprisingly, the company did not have any floor protection supplies readily available, which is a fundamental requirement for any reputable moving company. Their lack of preparation and basic equipment is indicative of their poor service standards. To top it all off, the company had the audacity to offer me a discount in exchange for a positive review. This blatant attempt at manipulation and deception further highlights their lack of integrity and willingness to prioritize their own reputation over providing quality service. I called 24/7 Moving and no one answered, but I got a call back within 30 minutes. The customer service went beyond my expectations. I called and requested an out of town move (more than 450 miles away) and Alex was able to put me on the schedule. I wasn't expecting them to deliver my things right away since all other places I called said it would take 7-10 business days to get to the final destination, but Alex said they would deliver my belongings the next morning! WOW! I wasn't able to get as much packed up on Saturday as I planned, so I called Alex and asked if it would be possible to have an extra person come and help pack up the last few things (again, I was expecting him to say no), but he said yes! The four gentlemen who showed up on Sunday, Victor, Max, Pusian, and Viad came at the beginning of the time frame. They asked me how and what needed to be moved. I had marked a number of boxes and items with red tape as these were things that I will need to be able to get to first when I am ready. They were great at putting all of these things in the truck first, so they could unload it last. They were all quick, efficient, respectful, and friendly. Victor was loading the huge truck, and he was incredible with his puzzle packing skills. And at the last minute when I needed to add a piece of furniture to the load, he was very accommodating. Victor was lucky enough to be the one to drive the long distance to my final destination. I was not able to meet him at the storage, so my mom and uncle meet Victor, and his helped Alex. My mom recently had a brain tumor removed, but she was able to sit in a chair while Victor and Alex unloaded the truck. My mom couldn't say enough nice things about Victor and Alex; their efficiency, respectfulness towards my belongings and the "red Label" items I needed set aside and towards my mom and uncle, and their friendliness was above and beyond our expectations. All of these guys worked so hard, I am just amazed at how they do it. I'm exhausted after packing a few boxes, and they just keep going. If I was still in the area, I would use them again! Very happy with the outcome, and will be using them again soon! First of all, my husband and I had no intention of hiring movers but soooo glad we did! We were moving out of a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment on the second floor. We were on a time crunch because our storage closes at a certain time. Late at night we went on yelp looking for movers. We spoke to Alex from 24/7 asking some questions but didn't have a decision for him by the time their office hours closed. Since we were so last minute he remind us that if we didn't reserve that night we wouldn't be able to have movers in the morning which is what we needed, but we were still so hesitant because we've never had movers before so we just said no. After being indecisive for too long we finally decided we needed the help and decided to call and leave a message ... not long after that we received a text from Alex (after their office hours by the way) and he was able to send two guys in the morning. Victor and Arthur arrived on time and as my husband stated "they were hustling and quick the whole time "! They were such a big help! They also drove our boxes to our storage and understood we couldn't afford them longer than 4 hours - they were not pushy and did not try to convince us to keep them longer, they were respectful and helped as much as they could in the time frame we were able to afford! They did not work slowly to try to get more hours, and didn't try to take advantage of us at all- true genuine help! Additionally, there is a coupon you could buy on yelp and they honor it! They come with a truck and all the moving materials you will need- if you need more manpower they have that option to have more than two guys come out! Just moved using 24/7 Moving and they did a good job. Took exactly the amount of time quoted and got everything in one truckload. They suggested I have 3 movers and they sent George, Egor & Edgar. All three were really nice, respectful and hard workers. They even pulled off what I thought was impossible, and got my wife's exercise elliptical machine in a room, that I thought "No way that's getting through that doorway." Well they did it and not a scratch on the walls or doors. I would recommend 24/7 and actually have to the new owners of our home we sold. I've been told they too are using 24/7. Thanks again to George, Egor & Edgar! Update! Update!!! Ok so 9 months later we need 24/7's help again. We had a family member pass away and it was time to remove the contents of their home. Many family members wanted stuff from the home, so we arrange a move with 24/7 to pick up and deliver items between 6 different family members homes within the East County. They said no problem! Tell us what goes where and we will packet it & deliver it. 24/7 sent Edgar, Sergio, Slava & Nurik in two trucks to coordinate the move. I had worked with Edger on the first move, so it was nice to see a familiar face. What a team! They packed & loaded each truck with a set delivery route. I played manager and went back & forth between the two trucks & multiple stops to make sure what was being dropped off was right and that everyone was happy. They packed up and delivered to 6 different homes in 6 hours! Not only did they tackle a very unique move, but did it all in one day with no issues. Let me just say I am signing up for yelp just so I can say some glowing things about Nick and Max and 24/7 Moving and Storage. We moved from Rancho Santa Fe to Carmel Valley and we had so much "stuff" we did it in 3 phases, with Nick and Max handling the final phase. I wish I had known about them earlier, I would have used them for everything. They were way, way better than the other movers. There's just no comparison. First of all, these guys are athletes. Max looked like he would be ready to go out and do a triathalon - after moving our stuff for 4 hours! They were way faster than the other movers we used and they were seemingly tireless. Both were unfailingly polite, patient, and had a wonderful "can-do" attitude. I was just blown away. I never even expected to encounter such good movers! Both Nick and Max said they had been in America for two years after winning the green card lottery in Russia. I mention this because I think it may be part of the reason they have such a great attitude. I think they work a lot harder than a lot of Americans do. But I found their English to be very good and never had any problem communicating. I liked the company as a whole too, though obviously I had closer involvement with the movers. Judging from other reviews, I think there is a good culture going on there, Moving can be such a hassle and it is great to work with smart people who actually *solve* your problems without creating new ones. Fabulous experience with this company. They moved all my stuff into storage. When the time comes for me to move my stuff out of storage and into my new place, I absolutely will use them again. I called a week before I moved out of my old place and they were able to get my move on the books right away. Was given a show up time between 8am-9am on the day of the move. The movers showed up a little before 8:20am as I was eating my breakfast thinking: no way they'll be here that early in the time slot. I was so wrong and glad to be wrong!! Massive shout out to my two movers, Oscar and Sasha. A thank you note to the owner Alex: Oscar and Sasha were GREAT!!! Five stars! Incredibly hard working guys who moved fast, and were very friendly. I appreciate hard work and really value kindness and being personable. My old complex has the longest hallway. Like really really really really long. Despite having an elevator, it still takes so much time going down the hallway. Oscar & Sasha were such good sports about the long hallway and remained in good and friendly spirits through it all. Great value for your money. I felt silly because I wrapped up a few pieces of art before my move since the pieces were going to be in storage. In the end, it would have been much cheaper to just use 24/7 Movers' supplies. Yes, you get charged, but the value is much cheaper than all the bubble wrap I bought at Target lol. ‍ All good though. We had a great experience with this company. Moving is always such a pain and a stressful thing, and 24/7 really helped minimize any extra stress. Before the move, Alex was very responsive via email to my questions and efforts to coordinate everything. That's important to me and not always the case. The quote was more reasonable than most, and did not have any hidden charges in the end. His ballpark time estimate was accurate as well. The move was scheduled at 9am, and the team of 3 arrived at 9am SHARP. They were consistently professional, friendly, and accommodating to our requests. A couple things really impressed me. First, they treated my belongings as if they were their own-- they meticulously wrapped every item and were very cautious without sacrificing speed or efficiency. They even transported all of my quite large plants that were very heavy (giant bird of paradise, queen palm, etc) in clay pots, and not a single one cracked. We ran out of time and were unable to disassemble some large garage storage units prior to moving, and they very quickly did it for us when requested. The other thing I was quite impressed with was that these guys really hustled. I wish I could remember their names. They get paid by the hour but were not at all milking the clock. We had a lot of stuff and a lot of work for them, and they were still moving fast at the end of the day. This combo of speed and care exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend. read more

I recently had the pleasure of working with Aleks and Asker from 24/7 Moving and Storage Company, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, they were true professionals who went above and beyond to ensure my move was smooth and stress-free. First of all, their communication was excellent. I requested a quote from 24/7 on a Sunday for a move from North Park to Anaheim, and they got back to me on Monday morning. Alfredo and George came over the next day and HUSTLED to get me moved. It only took them an hour and a half to get all my stuff in the truck, and it probably would have been less time but I was finishing up packing while they were moving...my bad! They took apart my dining table and IKEA bed, gave me extra boxes and tape when I ran out, and were generally very nice and trustworthy. At my new apartment they put the furniture back together for me and again moved really fast to unpack the truck. I think unpacking took under an hour. I paid for 7 hours at $89/hour and they honored the Yelp deal I bought. But I noticed they had to used their personal cell phones to run my credit card. So if I could make one recommendation, it would be that the company consider providing its employees with company cell phones so as to standardize the security and keep customers' credit card information safe. Otherwise, it's not as safe (or professional) to make employees use their personal cell phones for credit card transactions. Also, in 2014 the CA appellate court ruled that employees need to be reimbursed for personal cell phone use, so if 24/7 isn't already reimbursing employees, they may want to look into providing a company cell phone in order to comply with state law. read more

Just came here to sing the praises of wemove24/7! We had somewhat of complicated move - lots of things to go to storage before we moved into our new place (we are downsizing, temporarily) and we had so many awkwardly shaped baby items (swings, chairs, and the like) and furniture. We weren't sure how it was all gonna happen - but, Freddy, Sergio and Vitaly got it DONE! We thought we were more organized then we were the morning of, but we weren't (sorry fellas!) so it was a lot of logistical pieces and required alot of communication about what was to go where. Somehow they got it all done! So kind and patient with our mess of a house! That alone would have been just jaws on the floor with appreciation and worth every penny - BUT ... it gets better. They even went above and beyond unboxing our new furniture we had delivered at our new place and helping us get it set up? Like, what? Not remotely in their job description but such a HUGE help. And don't get me started on how they were able to work some tetris janga like magic at our storage unit - I am still in shock they got everything we needed to fit - with room to spare! I could go on and on about their professionalism, coordination, care and skillfulness in getting this move handled for us but I will leave it there. I just want to start out this post by saying that I very rarely post reviews on Yelp. Yes, I am that selfish person that just reaps the benefits of others' reviews :P However, I had such an amazing experience with 24/7 movers! Why? Read to find out: A) I spoke to Alex and asked him about 1 million questions before booking this service. He was very patient, courteous, and was committed to making sure that we were on the same page. He explained the money breakdown, and the timeline for the move, including a time window when the movers would show up. Amazing! B) The movers, Melvin and Nick, showed up right at the beginning of our window. They asked us how and what we would like moved, were extremely efficient, and were very considerate about wiping their feet when coming in/out of the house. They were also very polite, and made sure that they kept within our 3 hour time frame. This helped us stay on budget for our move. C) They had an enormous moving truck so we were able to move everything in one move. They also brought extra tools and boxes, and wrapped our mattresses/furniture to keep everything safe. All of our belongings were taken good care of (another reason why Nick and Melvin are awesome) We were a bit nervous about using movers based on yelp reviews... I can honestly say it was the best choice we made. I will definitely be using 24/7 movers if I ever move again! read more
