We had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Hulk Movers and would not recommend them. Our move was from Fallbrook to Menifee, and despite discussing our move in advance, the crew arrived without a truck large enough to fit our belongings. Several hours into the move on a Saturday, we were informed that everything would not fit, leaving us scrambling to find and rent an additional truck at the last minute. This resulted in hundreds of dollars in unexpected expenses on top of what we had already paid for the move. To make matters worse, my husband and I had to leave the movers and rush to secure another truck ourselves while managing our children during the move. We were left with very few options and a tremendous amount of unnecessary stress. After renting the additional truck, my husband and I ended up moving and unloading many of our own belongings ourselves. I have back problems and a heart condition, which is one of the main reasons we hired professional movers in the first place. Instead of reducing our physical strain and stress, the situation created even more of both. When I contacted management to express my concerns, I felt completely dismissed. Rather than acknowledging the impact of their mistake, the manager told me I was being "too emotional" for raising legitimate concerns about the situation and the significant additional expense. He also denied ever discussing our inventory with me, despite previous conversations. I was told the owner would contact me to discuss the matter, but weeks later, I have still received no response. As a military family, we have moved many times over the years and understand that unexpected issues can happen. What matters is how a company responds when problems arise. Unfortunately, Hulk Movers showed little concern for the consequences of their errors, the additional costs we incurred, or the stress placed on our family. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and choose a different moving company. Based on our experience, customer concerns are not taken seriously, and accountability is lacking. This was my first experience using a moving service. Overall the coordination of the move was smooth. I submitted an inquiry and was responded back with a quote very quickly. The date I needed to move was about a week and a half out and they were able to accommodate. There is a 3-hour minimum you have to pay. I had a 1 bedroom apartment's worth of furniture/items. The movers were very efficient and got everything done within 2.5 hours (note: it also helped that where I was moving was only a few minutes away from where I lived). The movers were respectful. For the most part, my items were handled with care. I was a little nervous about how some boxes were handled that had more delicate things but nothing was damaged. When the movers arrived I was still packing a few things. I was under the impression that the service included packing but I did not specifically request it. It wasn't a lot of items left to pack, but I was just thrown off when I was packing boxes while the movers just waited until I was done. Just sharing this in the event you need assistance packing, to make that clear from the beginning. I still had a positive experience with Hulk Movers and appreciate the helping hands which made moving a lot less stressful. read more

Slowest movers I experienced in my lifetime. I have hired over a dozen moving companies and this is by far the slowest. What should've been a 3 hour job took them 6 hours. They charge by the hour and I understand the need to make money. But it was so obvious they are intentionally milking those hours. They also broke a few things which valued around $600+ dollars. Had an amazing experience with my Hulk movers Ram and Gael. Before arriving they communicated their eta giving me plenty of time to be prepared. When they arrived my building had unfortunately shut down the first floor elevator unexpectedly and the team had to go up some stairs to the next elevator. When I told them they did not seemed bothered at all. Both had great manners and were very present and respectful of the space around them. I first reached out to another mover on Yelp for a quote, but after comparing several companies, I liked that Hulk Movers had great reviews, fair rates, and no hidden fees (just like they advertise). The movers--William, Sergei, Abdulla, and Eduardo--showed up right on time. Since I was moving from one apartment to another in the same building (just on opposite ends), they quickly came up with a game plan and got to work. They wrapped and protected all my furniture with blankets and wrap, and handled everything with care. They worked quickly without cutting corners, made sure not to bump into walls, and placed everything exactly where I wanted it. Nothing was damaged, and the whole process felt smooth and stress-free. Beware of this company!!! They look good online, present themselves as competent and professional, but in actuality, they were the opposite from our unfortunate experience. We paid over 11K for an interstate move that was supposed to be conducted using one private truck. They arrived with the smaller truck, which we thought from the beginning was already going to be a problem. They ended up having to transport our things with two trucks which was a contract violation. They left valuable items in their possession without properly informing us (we thought they were lost) because they said we were overweight (which again was not communicated properly). When asked by one of his staff who delivered our stuff where our other belongings were, Sanjar the owner, initially said we had everything in our possession. Then, miraculously, he changed the story after a few days and said they have some of our items. However he wasn't giving us a concrete plan of action as to how he was going to get the items to us. He went from "I'll drop it off to you personally as I'm going to Chicago anyway in a couple of weeks", to "I'll see if my friend can deliver it", to "you'll have to pay for shipping since you were overweight". This is just one of the the maddening examples of how they conducted business. They also did a poor job packing our belongings, some arriving damaged and destroyed. They left stuff at our house that they neglected to pack ~ cutlery, chopping boards, heavier kitchen items ~ that I had a friend ship to us (with us incurring the cost) and donated the items that would've been too expensive to ship. Sanjar was aware of this, instead of offering to pick up the stuff that they left at our house and making sure we received them, he simply said "have your friend bring them to me." Which of course we did not, Given that we were already having major trust issues with this company. As far as the items that were still in their possession, we ended up having a friend pick them up from their storage location. That included a walking pad, a classic car bumper, boojs, sentimental items, etc. Again, very heavy items that they refused to deliver to us unless we pay for shipping. The reasoning was that we were overweight. However, the contract stated it was a flat fee, and that the price was not going to change. The agreement was to deliver everything in one truck, for the same flat fee, without our belongings being co-mingled with other property. None of that happened. They are the ones who provided us with a quote after coming to our home and assessing how much items we have. He obviously didn't realize we were going to be overweight. Had he made an accurate estimation, this would not have happened. This was owner error, but he blamed us. It is not our fault that Sanjar, the owner who came to our home, miscalculated and made errors in his assessment of how heavy our items were. He presented himself as very reassuring that all our stuff would fit in this private truck, And all of a sudden, when he realized that it wouldn't, things turned for the worse and that's when all the misrepresentations became apparent. He also threatened that we would not get our deposit back until we sign the forms at closing stating that we have received all our items, and that there were no losses or damages. We refused to sign the form because it was legally and materially untrue. He eventually gave us our deposit back and we never signed those forms. This was after we threatened legal action. There are many other ridiculous and inappropriate things that have occurred between ourselves and this company. Extremely unprofessional and super shady from our experience. No integrity. We are still waiting for a response regarding our insurance claims for the losses and damages. The caused significant damage to our property and home upon delivery. Of course they are denying everything. Owner has gone silent. Company has taken no responsibility whatsoever, did not acknowledge or apologize for their poor service or shortcomings. Blamed us for all of the issues. Very manipulative. Owner engages in disturbing behaviors such as gaslighting, outright denial, dismissing our claims, making us feel guilty, blaming and shaming us. Really gross behaviors. They misrepresented themselves. We will most likely have to take them to court. Please go to the BBB website to see other people's reviews and similar experiences before you decide to hire this company. You have been warned!!! read more

I had the BEST experience with Hulk Movers on my recent cross-country move. Sanjar was responsive, friendly, and confident from our first interaction. He was available throughout the moving process, and made a stressful move actually quite easy. As a single woman who couldn't be present on moving day, I was worried I'd be taken advantage of or something big would go wrong. Not the case at all! I felt completely taken care of and was reassured things would go smoothly... and they absolutely did! Sanjar went above and beyond to ease my nerves, and more importantly, he delivered. Slava and Oleg were here with me on the receiving end, and they were incredible--from navigating a tricky barricaded event area and impossible parking situation to getting my things in place and assembled, they did a stellar job. Friendly, competent, trustworthy, and work ethic that lives up to the business name. I enjoyed having them around. I'm recommending Sanjar and his crew to everyone I know who might need help with local/distant moves. There are no zeros. You probably won't see this review because the owner will take it down. These movers damaged and broke so much of our furniture. One piece being an irreplaceable antique dresser. They broke my husband's desk & bookshelf that were part of a three piece office set. I contacted the company and they blamed us. We drove wrong. They blamed the movers that unloaded us, they weren't careful. That is unacceptable! Funny, the items that we loaded in a trailer that we also drove up ourselves...not a thing broken or damaged...hmmm, how does that work. Crappy work, that's how it happens!
