Faced with the daunting task of moving all of my belongings back into the family home just 6 short months after i legged it, the prospect of dismantling furniture and carrying heavy boxes was looming large. Asking friends to help wasn't an option as I'd burnt several bridges the previous weekend by failing to attend a social event. That's when i knew i needed professional help. Naturally for an important task like this i vetted several companies but with their transparent pricing and glowing reviews, Trek Movers secured the contract. The big day arrived and at 9am sharp the moving truck rolled through the security gates at Eaves, which surprisingly were actually working that morning. Out jumped the guys, like an Eastern European swat team and after a few waivers were signed absolving them of any and all blame if they broke anything, they were straight to work. It was time for me to put my feet up and let these moving magicians do their thing but I'd barely finished my 3rd extra hot flat white at the local coffee shop when i got the text saying they were all loaded up! Back to the family home we went which luckily was free of any family members that afternoon. I directed traffic like a prime Jose Mourinho; pointing, whistling, at times chastising, but doing it all with the full respect of the team. Before i knew it we'd achieved our goal and they had unloaded and ultimately reassembled all the furniture in the rooms of my choosing. Nothing damaged. Nothing left behind. I could scarcely believe we'd done it. It was the kind of experience that almost made we want to run off again just so we could see if we could beat our time. And you know what? They guys showed up with sleeping shorts, a broken up truck, and a drill that was broken. They proceeded to damage my furniture and say it was like that before I got it. Luckily the storm had a detailed description of the conditions of the piece. I thought that was going to be the end of it and I needed them to finish the job they come to drop off the furniture and say they can't lift it outside of the truck and that I need to pay more. read more

While I can't know for sure where they came from, within a week of moving, our house was infested with bed bugs! Like I said, not sure where they came from but the items that were infested were in the moving truck we used to move our big furniture. We had NEVER had that kind of issue before and hope it never happens again. read more

I called around and felt this service was fairly priced so I gave them a try. Their service and detail and attention to detail was a 10/10. They wrapped all my furniture, took extra chair even for the minimal items I said were not that big of a deal, and helped with the move start to finish. They were very friendly and didn't mind even when I asked to rearrange some stuff and move some items even if I felt it was an inch off . Rude driver, took a long time, 1.5 bedroom apartment with no appliances and one bedroom one person took them 4.5 hours and they didn't even finish the job. They milk your time and complain and yell at you when you ask them how long they need. I don't recommend. Go somewhere else. read more

We hear so many horror stories from moving companies and have always hesitated to hire one. But after 4times moved it our own, we decided to hire a moving company. I'm so glad we went with Trek Mover. We got a team of 3. They went straight to pack stuff in the garage after we sign the paper, very hard working, and fast. We are 4 bedrooms house with a lot of stuff/furnitures and afraid our stuffs wouldn't fit in our storage unit, but they made it happened with timing manner. I'm still really impressed with their wrapping skill and nicely pack everything in our storage unit. Update: I didn't know how important it is that they a a countdown system until your moving day with them.
