DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! By far the worst moving…read moreexperience of my life. This company was subcontracted by American van lines to fulfil our contract with AVL. To make a very long story short, we were verbally promised delivery within 7-10 days, latest was July 10th, of the pick up date. That did not happen. They even blew past the 20 day delivery window in the contract. Our delivery did not show up until July 27th. All the while we were receiving harassing texts demanding the rest of the payment or else they would turn around. And when the truck did finally arrive, only the driver was present to unload it. We paid for loading and unloading services and were basically left on own with the driver to unload. I have a physical disability and was unable to help, so my partner bore the burden of five grueling hours of unloading a 26 foot moving truck with the driver. We contacted the company after an hour or two passes and still no other movers arrived and were told that, in fact, they WERE there! They even argued with us saying that the movers confirmed they would be there in 45 minutes, 2 hours ago. And yet. No movers. Also the driver used a slur in front of my partner and I about a group of people that I belong to. Absolutely disgusting.

She organized and labeled everything. She took away all the donated items (to me that is amazingly helpful). She took care of all the trash (thankfully there is a dumpster where I live - there were 4 huge trash bags and two large boxes of cardboard trash) She did a great job. Would highly recommend her. I did a basic google search but that was overwhelming and confusing on how to understand the pricing system. I finally had a friend tell me he utilized yelp for a project inquiry and that helped in getting businesses to reach out to me with a little more of a targeted price, but it also felt like a lot of the responses where AI responses. Prime Moving was the only company who called me. I honestly still wasn't 100% sold as I wanted a more concrete rate that I would be paying and not put in a situation where any movers knowing it's an hourly rate past the required 3 hours could take advantage of the situation and take longer to get more money. I fully understand it's nearly impossible to determine how long a move will take but I think most still want some sense of security that it'll only cost "xyz" amount. This isn't a comment specific to Prime Moving but the moving industry as a whole from what I experienced. A friend had mentioned they utilized Prime Moving so I felt that bit of security and ultimately went with them. Adam was one of the two movers and both were very kind and professional. They wrapped the items I need and got my moved out and into my new place in such an efficient manner I was trying to keep up with them.
