Victor and Kevin were the hardest working, most efficient movers I have ever worked with. We had a complicated move: many items in the house needed to be thrown in a dumpster outside the house, other items were moving with my parents to assisted living, and others yet were going into storage. Victor and Kevin kept it all straight and did it in record time. They did NOT take breaks (I had to insist they take 30 seconds when I offered them water). Great guys. Very respectful and friendly. My only feedback (for home office, not Victor and Kevin) was that communication over email prior to the move was occasionally delayed and a bit clipped (one-word answers). I also only learned that there was a heavy-item fee of $150 PER item AFTER booking (didn't see that in any of the materials I read beforehand or the contract) bc I sent the company an email with a list of the furniture we were moving. They were fair in applying the rate, but knowing that in advance would have helped bc it can hike the cost significantly. I will say, I thought the move would take 4 hours and the owner/manager accurately predicted that it would take closer to 6-7 hours, so I appreciated his expertise in assessing the time (bc they charge hourly). First of all they write their own reviews. After they finished moving us they asked us to write a review. They asked us to take a phot with them and post it with the review, which we found weird, but decided to move forward with it. As we started to type one of the guys asked if he could type and he actually wrote the whole review himself. After leaving the review and posting our photo under the A2 Moving - Irvine page he copied and pasted the review to the A2 Moving Long Beach page. Lastly, did the same for their business on Google Maps. Fast and very professional, would highly recommend hiring A2 moving for moving large furniture and appliances. We booked an appointment for moving less than 10 miles away from our current to new apartment a few days ago. They came around 09:30 AM (9-10 Am time frame). The two movers were friendly and wrapped the couches and beds/other items in a plastic wrap. The whole process took 5 hours, probably would have taken a couple days if it was just us moving everything. Price is reasonable for two guys+truck for $109 per hour (3 hour minimum), no charge for boxes and dolly use. Recommend getting cash since they charge extra for credit card. They do not charge for double time under a 10 mile distance. Overall very satisfied with the experience and none of our furniture and appliances were damaged during the process. read more
