Most importantly, I didn't have to ask him and go back and pull weeds that still remained or cut other things that should have been cut. On top of that, he trimmed my trees (small lemon and olive trees) way more than any other gardener before me, without my asking! We hired Nick's company to move a two-bedroom apartment over a distance of approximately one mile. The entire experience was a disaster from start to finish. 1. Unforeseen & Coerced Charges: Upon arrival, the moving crew declared that a chest dresser was "too huge and heavy" and demanded an immediate, extra fee not included in our original quote. Since they had already arrived and we were forced to move that day, we had no choice but to accept this coerced price increase, which put us under immediate and unfair financial pressure. 2. Excessive Time: Despite the incredibly short, one-mile distance between locations, the move took an unacceptable 7.5 hours to complete. This is a severe reflection of poor planning and efficiency. 3. Property Damage and Silence: During the move, the crew caused significant damage to our property. My refrigerator was clearly damaged (photo evidence is available), and my night table was also damaged. I immediately reached out to Nick via both email and text message to arrange for the repair of the refrigerator. As of today, I have received zero response from the company or Nick, showing a complete lack of professionalism and accountability for the damage they caused. Warning: This company prioritizes extracting last-minute fees over customer service or care for property. I had great experience with A2 moving company. The movers called beforehand to tell me the window of time they would show up, which is helpful. They showed up on time and were polite. The movers worked hard and efficiently to wrap all the furniture to make sure it wasn't damaged (see photos). They worked extra hard since there wasn't elevator access and moved all our very heavy furniture down 3 flights and up 3 flights of stairs, which requires a lot of work! They provided these big boxes to easily move all our clothing and to make sure our lamps were protected during the ride to the new apartment. I would highly recommend A2 moving! Ricky and Peter were incredibly thorough with their work. They also communicated concerns they had with some of the larger pieces including an armoire and solved the problem quickly. I appreciated their flexibility since I requested an additional drop-off location last minute and weren't trying to charge me with any extra fees. Upon booking this company I spoke with Nick whom I thoroughly expressed to that I wanted to remain within a threshold of 6hrs maximum during my move . I was quoted for 6hrs with 3 movers . Peter Roberto and Amen were very attentive of our belongings . We asked if they could accommodate to our property being that we were still renovating and had just painted and installed flooring . DO NOT hire A2 Moving -- total rip-off and waste of time! Omg, I seriously regret calling them. They tried to charge me $250 just to move a TV -- on top of other hidden fees! I wasn't even asking for a full move or a truck. I only needed help transferring a few items from one unit to another within the same apartment community, less than 100 feet away, no stairs, both units on ground level -- couldn't be easier. From start to finish, they were friendly, professional, and extremely organized. What impressed us most was how carefully they handled our belongings. They treated our move as if it were their own, taking great care with everything and making the entire process feel stress-free. Their speed was unbelievable as well. We had a locksmith scheduled the same day, and he even commented that by the time he went from one door to another, the entire living room had already been moved in and set up! We truly appreciate everything they did for us. Moving can be overwhelming, but Aleks, Vadim, and Bula made it so much easier. They were not only hardworking and efficient, but also genuinely kind and pleasant to be around throughout the day. I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to leave one because these three deserve the recognition. AFD movers were absolutely amazing!…read more First, Mark was able to help us out securing movers within a three day notice. He helped us figure out how many we needed and the services AFD provides. We were given a great deal, other moving places would've charged us $50-$100 more and hour but AFD provided us with a very reasonable quote. They also called us the day before to confirm the move, which you don't see a lot of places do (just in case life happens and you have to reschedule). Then came the actual move. Andrew and his team were terrific! He had contacted us to let us know they were 30 minutes away. And they got to our apartment right on time! We had an on site move, going from a ground floor apartment to the second story, and Andrew and his team eased our worries with their steadfast hard work! Their fast work care with our furniture made this whole process a lot easier! We own two vintage pinball machines that were the only things left to us from our grandfather who passed a few years ago. We know they are big bulky items that most moving companies would've charged us extra for, but AFD did not! Andrew and the team took great care with them, that really eased our stress. They mean so much to us that it was very heartfelt to see the team take great care of them. Overall I would recommend AFD Movers to anyone! A truly reliable company that has workers who care and treat you/your things with great professionalism! If we ever move again, I know we will be calling AFD movers!

The team was incredibly professional, efficient, and organized from the moment they arrived. They carefully wrapped our valuable and fragile items to protect them during the move and packed everything with great attention to detail. We were amazed that they were able to fit all of our belongings into the truck while keeping everything secure and well-organized. Because we had more items than expected and were working with a smaller U-Haul, they even sent a third mover to help speed up the process. That extra effort made a huge difference and showed how committed they were to providing great service. The entire team was friendly, considerate of our belongings, and went above and beyond our expectations. I did a basic google search but that was overwhelming and confusing on how to understand the pricing system. I finally had a friend tell me he utilized yelp for a project inquiry and that helped in getting businesses to reach out to me with a little more of a targeted price, but it also felt like a lot of the responses where AI responses. Prime Moving was the only company who called me. I honestly still wasn't 100% sold as I wanted a more concrete rate that I would be paying and not put in a situation where any movers knowing it's an hourly rate past the required 3 hours could take advantage of the situation and take longer to get more money. I fully understand it's nearly impossible to determine how long a move will take but I think most still want some sense of security that it'll only cost "xyz" amount. This isn't a comment specific to Prime Moving but the moving industry as a whole from what I experienced. A friend had mentioned they utilized Prime Moving so I felt that bit of security and ultimately went with them. Adam was one of the two movers and both were very kind and professional. They wrapped the items I need and got my moved out and into my new place in such an efficient manner I was trying to keep up with them.
