I have paid movers at least a dozen times and none the are even in the same category as these guys. 3 very nice men and the team leader speaks and reads English very well, and the second guy does a good job., and the 3rd guy does OK with the basics. All the boxes are going to their designated places and if there are any questions, they stop and ask. They are fast and efficient and the price is reasonable in my book. I hope, at 72, I will never have to move again but if I do, it will be with this company! read more

AFD movers were absolutely amazing! First, Mark was able to help us out securing movers within a three day notice. He helped us figure out how many we needed and the services AFD provides. We were given a great deal, other moving places would've charged us $50-$100 more and hour but AFD provided us with a very reasonable quote. They also called us the day before to confirm the move, which you don't see a lot of places do (just in case life happens and you have to reschedule). Then came the actual move. Andrew and his team were terrific! He had contacted us to let us know they were 30 minutes away. And they got to our apartment right on time! We had an on site move, going from a ground floor apartment to the second story, and Andrew and his team eased our worries with their steadfast hard work! Their fast work care with our furniture made this whole process a lot easier! We own two vintage pinball machines that were the only things left to us from our grandfather who passed a few years ago. We know they are big bulky items that most moving companies would've charged us extra for, but AFD did not! Andrew and the team took great care with them, that really eased our stress. They mean so much to us that it was very heartfelt to see the team take great care of them. Overall I would recommend AFD Movers to anyone! I had to move from Irvine to Chino Hills, last minute, with a ton load of stuff. These guys showed up on time and were extremely professional. They worked extremely fast, wrapped up all the mattresses and couches, and we're extremely careful not to damage anything. The price was very fair but I gave them a very good tip because their work was excellent. Absolutely zero complaints. I hope I dont have to move again but if I do Im going with AFD Movers. I didn't even bother calling another moving company for quotes. I trusted the reviews and was really impressed with their ease during scheduling. We had an afternoon booking to have three movers meet us at our new rental house after our 3-day commute down the west coast. We were running 4 1/2 hours behind and they worked with us, pushed their stay time back, and hung out until our moving truck arrived. The Worst. Avoid These Yo-Yos at All Costs. After 6 1/2 years of rebuilding and literally hundreds of trucks and trailers navigating our steep hill, the AFD driver was the first to get his truck so completely stuck that he blocked all four properties the driveway serves for over THREE HOURS. While the AFD crew refused to call a tow truck, they kept trying (and failing) to get the truck unstuck, blocking other crews and workers who couldn't leave because of it. Eventually, they unloaded the truck (wouldn't let a little thing like blocking others stop them), and only then did they finally call a tow truck -- something the neighbors had been begging and yelling at them to do for hours. Meanwhile, workers were forced to wait and stay on the clock while AFD's incompetence dragged on. The language and communication were a joke, and the supervisor on the phone couldn't care less. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more clueless crew. If you want The Five Stooges, call AFD. If you want movers who actually know what they're doing, keep looking... read more

My cross country movers from Chicago could not fit my 9 foot sofa through the door so it had to be hoisted onto the second floor balcony, which they couldn't do so I had to find new movers. I had been looking for movers for a month to hoist the sofa, and every company was charging 3 hours minimum plus a hoisting fee and it was out of our budget. I might as well have bought a new sofa! We thought our day would be stressful but they were our heros. I was so amazed of how fast the problem solved and organized everything. I remember being concerned and confused of how our heavy furniture would be moved or organized. With one glance, with second mover explained what he planned to do. We were just in awe with them. So impressed! We decided to get them in-n-out because we appreciated their flexibility and patience with us. I tried moving some of my stuff but they were not having it. I know we hired them but man, they sure know how to make you feel like a lady. My 7 year old daughter was nonstop talking to them. Turns out one of them was a dad and knew exactly what to say to her. It was very nice to connect. Unfortunately one of our dining chairs got chipped or small corner broke. I don't remember but they were honest of how it happen and gave us a pretty nice discount. Because of their accountability we totally didn't care. We were just so happy to have moved everything we worked hard to have finally in the new place. The 2 movers, Anthony and Cristian, were friendly, accommodating, and had great personalities. Moving is a labor intensive job and they had a positive attitude throughout.
