I honestly couldn't have done my move as efficiently as I did without the help of Best Moving Service! From the initial request with Doug, I knew it was going to be top tier! And HUGE shoutout to Ferman and Max for the incredible work! Professional, personable, efficient- my kind of guys! This was my first time using movers, and now I'm spoiled for life! Wow, this is the 4th time ive need Best Moving Service to help me move my sister from anaheim to riverside. Gavin the lead driver and mover, cant thank him and his team enough. They were so careful with my sisters brand new washer and dryer. Quick on taking the bed apart, reminded me of a nascar pitt crew. The guys were on top of it, start to finish. Even pointed out some wood scratches before they moved her dresser, i appreciate the feedback with repairing the scratches. If you need movers and a team that knows what there doing these are your guys! Till my next move. read more

I had a great experience with Best Moving Service. They were recommended to me by a friend who had a positive experience with their own move, and I'm so glad I took their recommendation. This was my first time hiring movers, and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a move. The cost was fair, and the quality of service exceeded my expectations. Matt and Johnny were incredibly attentive, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. For reference, I was moving a two-bedroom apartment within the same complex, including navigating stairs. All we needed to do was have our belongings boxed up beforehand, and the only furniture that required assembly was the beds. The move went smoothly from start to finish, and the team made the entire experience stress-free. Overall, it was excellent service, and I will definitely use Best Moving Service again for my next move. read more

Prior to my move the dispatcher, Doug, contacted me to get the lowdown on the move. He was very helpful and friendly and he made a lot of great suggestions. He will call me the day before to check in. Looking forward to this move. read more

My first time using a moving company and it was wonderful from start to finish. I had a lot of anxiety with costs and overall how things would go. HOWEVER getting a quote was quick and easy with Doug who was very kind and patient with all my questions. I was panicking because I called the day before my move so I wasn't sure if it would work out! Gavin, Nick, and Johnny came thru ready to get things handled for me. I unfortunately am on the second floor of an apt moving into a townhome also with (2!) staircases so I knew it wasn't going to be easy work but they made it happen. They were extremely careful with my items, helped seal boxes I didn't get a chance to tape up, offered wardrobe boxes, protected our TVs, etc. What I appreciated most is they not only dropping off my items in designated rooms but placed them where I wanted them (arrangement) as well. This was a new experience for me, and if I plan to move anytime soon, I will be using this company again and will 10000% recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable team. Thank you guys! read more

Over all had a shit move with these guys broke things was told the tip amount I should give. From my last review I started there was a tall guy who was forceful on what he wanted with tips. Well recently he decided to make a yelp and take it upon himself to harass me over the course of 15 days waiting to bait me to see a response. I reached out to the company and the person who answered the phone said Jose harassing us is personal and it isn't a reflection of the company. Yet this is a guy that works for them and if He's hurt over a review and harassing people why would anyone want that service I will be contacting the BBB to show what type of company this is the employee goes by Joe or Jose just know who is gonna be moving your stuff and what you'll be dealing with after if you give a bad review . Almost like they're trying to flex muscle and harass me because of the bad review I posted read more

I used Best Moving Service for the 3rd time. The service is excellent. They are on time, courteous and professional. With each move, I got a different team each time but they never disappoint. This time I got Matt and Miguel. I packed everything that needed to be packed and labeled them. The guys wrapped the furniture for protection and dismantled the bed frame and headboard. The guys were quick and organized. Everything went smoothly like the last 2 times. I highly reccomend this moving company and will definitely use them again!!! read more

Best Moving Service helped us move out of a second floor apartment. They were excellent and very professional. They were on time and worked very hard all morning to complete this move. The cost was very fair. I would recommend this company to anyone. read more

I would not recommend working with this moving company. My family and I were moving from one home to another and living with family during the renovations. As we stored our items in their facility they stacked our dining room table and broke a large piece off. When we moved into our new home best moving admitted fault, yet only covered $120 to replace. They explained I can go through my own insurance for the difference. Be careful what you sign. The moving crew tried to make me sign a waiver of our electronics being damaged before verifying they were in working condition. Very disappointed with their customer service and lack of accountability. My family has used this company 4 times in the past and referred others, but the one time they break something they do not try and help. Please look elsewhere for you moving needs. read more

I am very pleased with the moving services I received from this company. Matt and Miguel arrived on time and ready to roll. They quickly got the furniture wrapped and loaded onto the truck. I also had beds taken apart, pictures and mirrors wrapped, and they even helped me put the clothes hanging in the closet into the wardrobe boxes, which was a real help to me to keep things moving. They were fast and efficient, and once we got to my new place in HB they loaded everything fast again and up the stairs and put together the beds perfectly. I am so glad i chose this company and will again in the future if need be for me or my daughters. Thanks Matt and Miguel!! read more

The price was very reasonable, with all the charges up front. They were easy to book, and the 2 movers came at the promised time. A terrible experience. First they intimidated my 75 year old wife to tip them before doing any work. The lead guy said that the tips start at $100! She gave the 3 guys $130 each. I was not there at the time. If I had I would have told them to leave our home and that we would not be treated in such a disgusting manner. Their work was marginal at best. Once our furniture was moved into the new home we noticed that our bedroom dresser and night stands had been gone through and jewelry had been stolen. When I called Doug, the manager at Best Moving Service he denied that anything was stolen and said I was lying to him. I made a police report with Anaheim PD and contacted the Better Business Bureau. According to the Better Business Bureau they had a number of complaints against Best Moving Service. Best Moving Service said that they were a member in good standing with the Better Business Bureau which was a lie. This company stole from us and should be avoided at all costs. What few reviews are positive should consider themselves lucky. read more

This is the 2nd time we've used this company. The first move was from a condo to a storage unit. This move was storage in Irvine to a home in Carlsbad. Both experiences were great. Doug (main contact person) was friendly, informative and efficient. The movers (Gavin, Ferman, and Max) never stopped moving. They negotiated the elevator in the storage facility efficiently (saving us money). They were friendly and helpful and had good ideas on the best way to move our belongings (many of which were heavy and bulky) to the 2nd floor of our new home. Best of all..... we're 3/4 of the way through the unpacking and no damage. We will definitely use them on our next move! read more

Seamless experience with best movers! We bought our first home and had a lot to move with two kids under two. My husband and I were so overwhelmed but best movers saved the day. Dante, Diego and Miguel were amazing. It was a tough move into a tri level home. They were extremely careful, efficient and felt the service was a great value. Pricing was upfront and of course we tipped them for their extremely hard work! The wardrobe boxes were very helpful and saved us a lot of time. We would definitely recommend their services! read more

Nic and his partner did an awesome job and we're really fast! They also made sure to handle all my belongings with care and ease

Joe and AJ worked very well together to get the job done. Only issue I had was Joe quoted a tip amount he expected and reminded us multiple times that's how they make their living. At $120 hour for 5 hours, I'm sure the company pays them hourly and felt pressure to tip generously. We live on SS and did tip what we could afford. I would recommend this company but will call the office about my complaint. read more

So I finally was able to use Best Moving for my "non-standard" move. Doug was awesome with scheduling, and the team arrived promptly and ahead of time. They called in advance to let me know they were nearby, which I appreciated a lot. This way, I could be prepared! Joe (Driver/Team Lead), Matt, and Max came and surveyed the job within minutes. They were super-friendly and we immediately felt at ease, because they obviously had a handle on things and knew what they were doing. I cannot believe how fast and efficiently they worked. I was there in the beginning, explaining things, and within minutes they figured out the plan to move our old Viking refrigerator outside and bring the new one in. They made sure the floor was protected, since they had to go up a couple stairs to get the refrigerator out the front door. Once they were on their way with the job, I went upstairs to go back to my desk to answer a few work emails. About 5-10 mins later, I heard them taking the protective tape off the stairs, and ran out of my office saying "no don't remove the tape yet, you still have to use it to bring the new fridge in, right?"......but they HAD already brought the new fridge in (and moved the old one out)! SO FAST!! I was astonished...Job almost complete! In the time it took for me to read and respond to two emails - it was done! Then the team helped me lift this super-heavy 1000+ Lb Dining room 120 inch long wood restoration hardware table so I could put a new rug underneath. I could not believe they were so strong we did not have to take it apart to lift it. I'm not kidding, it was seriously crazy how much these guys can lift. Even when I had the table delivered by RH, their delivery team had to take it apart to help me move it. Again, my head spun with how fast they did this job. It was less than 10 mins. Table moved, new rug pad, and rug put out, and table put back!! The entire job was faster than I even expected it would be, and it was done to PERFECTION....and I am a HUGE perfectionist and very picky!!! We were more than happy to give a BIG TIP for their amazing work and strength to do this job. They were awesome. Joe's leadership was amazing. The entire team were all super-friendly and personable, efficient and highly effective. Their EXECUTION and the entire process - SO EFFECTIVE. Anytime we need help in the future - I know who I'm going to call! :) And will request the same team! They are awesome! read more

This review is long overdue and it's my pleasure to recommend Best Moving Service of Anaheim, California. I have used their services for two long-distance moves, one local move and long-term storage over the past two years. I was referred to Best Moving Service by a close friend who knew I would be relocating from Northern to Southern California. I needed a team of trustworthy professionals to move my family to our new home and I grew tired of looking at companies from afar. I connected with Doug of Best Moving Service to conduct a virtual assessment of my move and was immediately impressed with his expertise and professionalism. It cannot be easy to set up and stage a move of one's home by phone and he nailed it. Doug met with me on multiple occasions by phone to ensure that we had accounted for the appropriate square footage of my home and to assess the number of staff we'd need to make the move happen. I appreciated how thorough Doug was and the time he took to walk me through every step of the moving process. On moving day, the team arrived on time and immediately got to work. The team took special care to wrap all my furniture with moving blankets and protected all of the larger items giving me confidence that they'd arrive safely at their destination. After arriving in Long Beach, the team quickly got to work, staging boxes and furniture where I needed everything placed making move-in a breeze. This was tremendously helpful because I was moving into my place without help from friends or family and it made the whole process extremely easy, and the team was very efficient. Two years later, I decided to pack my entire home and store everything with Best Moving Service as I learned that they also provided long-term storage. As I was I was about to embark on a 12-month around-the-country trip, I needed a place to store my belongings and the team came through for me again. I worked with Doug to arrange a moving date and an estimate of the number of storage vaults I'd need to pack my house away for a year. Once again, Doug was an expert in estimating how much labor I'd need for the move and was spot on with estimating how much storage space was needed. He's truly great at what he does. The moving team arrived again and got to work and was extra conscientious about wrapping all of my furniture, TVs and lighting very well to ensure long-term storage wouldn't be a problem for my belongings because I really didn't know how long I'd be on the road. This is highly important when I cover the last part of my review. The storage process was seamless. Doug helped me set up recurring billing to my credit card (thank you for that because I was able to get airline miles for my storage bills) and when it came time to make arrangements to pull my belongings out of storage, I contacted Jimmy, the business owner for advice. I recently bought a house in Michigan and I was going to need a long-haul move coordinated. I took a look at several different companies and found myself questioning how to get my entire house moved from California to Michigan at a reasonable cost. That's where Jimmy came into the picture and really made a huge difference for me. I met with Jimmy and he consulted me on a variety of options for the move. We looked at moving pods and LTL container services and he was able to make all the calls to find me the best quote for what I needed. Jimmy then coordinated the onsite delivery of my shipping trailer, the labor to pack the container taking all of my belongings out of storage and packed the trailer in a way that he and his team saved me $1,300 on my moving expenses because they were so precise with their packing in the trailer. Jimmy also made sure that my items were secured and had his staff mail me a key to my lock (which I didn't even think about) and it arrived at my new home well before the trailer arrived. Now, here's the real kicker. My entire three-bedroom apartment in California was packed in such a way that nothing was damaged. Nothing at all. I unpacked boxes with fine china, and glassware and unwrapped all of my furniture and everything was in perfect shape after long-term storage and a long-haul move. If that isn't a testament to the care that Best Moving provides then I don't know what is. Jimmy, Doug and the entire team who have helped me move in California, into storage and across the country are literally, the "Best" moving service I could have asked for. I have moved a lot over the past 10 years, and I've never been more impressed with the care, professionalism, and expertise provided by Best Moving Service. If you need a trusted set of experts to help you ease the nuances of moving, I'd highly recommend Jimmy and the team at Best Moving. I've recommended Best Moving to my mother and another friend who made a similar move from California to Arizona, and both were equally thrilled with the service provided. I'd give 10 stars to the team if I could. read more

Horrible company. Horrible company. The lack of respect for ones property blows my mind. They were made aware ahead time and the day of that we had antiques, fragile items, etc, etc. See photos below. One shows that these incompetent neanderthals put a heavy portable AC unit on top of a fragile blue Rubbermaid storage bin. The AC unit, roughly 80lbs, crushed the blue storage bin. Everything inside broken. Ruined beyond repair. In another photo. If you look close enough. In the middle there is another box were "fragile" is clearly written on said box. It's crushed between furniture and other boxes. Nothing secured. Our furniture just thrown in there. The box with fragile written on it, smashed. Contents ruined. The other photo shows how they just threw furniture on top of furniture. Not securing it. Not wrapping all of it. Not respecting any of the items we owned. They treated our personal belongings like garbage. I hope this company goes out of business. I hate saying that cause I'm not a spiteful person...but we lost thousands of dollars. A majority of the items broken are one of a kind collectables. Original pieces. There is no replacing them. This company deserves a good dose of karma and I hope they get it sooner rather than later. Cause hard working folks don't deserve to have their belongings destroyed. Also, if you don't pay attention to the bottom line they will try some sketchy accounting techniques to rip you off. So not only will they ruin your stuff but they'll rip you off money wise with a big ol' smile on their face. A complete scam of a company read more

This was my second time using Best Moving Service and once again I was pleased. Shout out to Doug for helping me through the process. I called him a few weeks prior just to get an estimate and he was real with me from the beginning. I'll always do business with people who just give it to me straight. Thank you, Doug! Danny and Art were the two movers who helped us load our 1 bedroom apartment into a 15 foot uHaul. These guys really knew what they were doing. Art had years (8 years I believe) of experience and Danny was just a ball of energy and good vibes. They were fast, efficient and I honestly had a great time talking with them. The whole experience was fantastic! If you're looking for a professional moving service, look no further. I highly recommend these guys. Again, thank you to Doug, Danny and Art. We used several moving companies in the past 5 years, for us and for our relatives. We found that Best moving company was the most efficient and somewhat cost effective moving company that we have experienced. They will perform their task as you direct them to. My problem was that they packed too many frivolous items, when I should have gotten rid of them. This caused added time and packing supplies. As stated they will perform exactly as you tell them, which is good. They had great attitudes and warm accommodations to their customer. They moved everything carefully, without breaking anything. Just carefully plan out the items to move and not to waste time with innocuous items. We will use Best again in a few weeks for my sister in law. I do highly recommend them as you can see.
