Green Moving sent two young men to help us move our fully pre-packed one bedroom apartment. It took them over 5 hours just to load the truck. At least 3 more hours to unload. My wife and I started moving things ourselves since it seemed like that was the only way we would finish before the day was done. Industry standard is for a 1 bedroom move to take between 3-5 hours total. Either they sent incapable employees, or they were trying to take advantage of us by "running the clock" since we paid them by the hour. Go with someone else. read more

Scheduled these guys to do a local move. Estimated completion time was 6 hours. At no fault to the moving guys, the entire move took 12 hours instead. Process wasn't always the smoothest but everything still got done at the end. There was some damage done on the floor from moving one of the wardrobe boxes but scratch was minor. The guys did do their best to protect the floor and walls but accidents do happen. The truck wasn't able to take everything so we still had to go back a few times on our own to finish moving everything. Would probably use these guys again for smaller jobs. read more

Moving is hard, physically and mentally! Oscar and his team nearly worked 12 hours. They were super strong, professional, very kind, and extremely pleasant to work with. They took extra care of all our items, making sure they were wrapped and protected. We only had a week to pack and still had a lot of things unpacked. They helped pack clothes in the closet, took drawers that weren't fully emptied out, mini fridges that still had some things, and tried to take everything and more to make it easier for us. Their pricing is very reasonable, especially for the level of effort and care that they deliver. This company truly outshined the other companies I have worked with. I found green moving as part of Yelps guarantee program. As part of the program you have to make sure that everything goes through the Yelp APP and therefore completely documented for proof, in the case you have to report anything to Yelp. Once I made Green Moving aware that I wanted everything documented they immediately stopped communicating with me. It showed they were reading every single one of my messages. And I had been messaging from Monday all the way to Friday. Then on Friday they said they were completely booked, as if I would consider them at that point any ways. They kept trying to claim they were booked this whole time and thats why they didnt answer me. Which I know is not the truth because they dont even know what day I was trying to move. Anywho, if you want to protect yourself with this company, be sure to get everything in writing. Although, as proven, they WILL NOT let you document anything. They want it all on the phone verbally. Total shame. I thought this was going to be a good company. Here are the following tips to help the novice mover. Please keep in mind the following, The insurance of 0.60 cents a pound for every 100 pounds will not replace anything that is lost or damaged. Do the math. A $10,000.00 watch that weighs less then a pound will get a replacement fee of 0.60cents. Read the fine print for the insurance. Get your own private insruance that day and make sure your renter insurance covers as well. read more

Jason and Tim were excellent during our move. They were friendly and worked hard to get our furniture moved safely to our new home. Of special note is their moving of our couch. It was heavy and impossible to get through the stairwell. They ended using a manual pulley system to get it down from the 4th floor!
