I would give these guys 6 stars if I could! I hired Florez Elite Moving for both an out of state move and an in-state move for my mom. There are a lot of horror stories about moving companies so the pressure was on! On the first call, Ramona was so kind and walked through everything - who they are, how they charge, what's included, etc. We actually did a 3-part move: packing a POD for out of state, loading a truck, driving a truck to Northern California and unloading the truck in Northern California. The team was so amazing throughout the process. When you are packing up a home for any reason, it can be emotional, stressful and overwhelming. The guys were such a light every day - they had amazing energy and kept us laughing! Paco was the lead, with help from Ryder, Tito, Fidel, and Brandon. The guys brought boxes, packed everything SO carefully, communicated effectively throughout the process, remained positive throughout the long days, and unloaded it all. When I realized I needed a mover for a dining diningroom table and about 20 boxes from the Bay Area/Silicon Valley to Los Angeles, I started to look for movers. A++ moving experience! I booked them from Boston for Mom's Los Angeles move and they were: on-time, super friendly, careful, professional, organized, communicative, fantastic. As a woman, I felt very safe with them. Late Review. I received a recommendation from a friend to use Florez Elite. We were moving from a two bedroom, two story condo to a single story home about 18 miles apart. The initial set up was very easy. The day of the move, we met all three guys. Walked them through the condo and they moved quickly in identifying how they would start the process. They informed us of any immediate damage of furniture and appliances prior to starting. We actually thought we were mostly ready for the move. We were not. The guys helped us pack and box everything we missed. They brought in wardrobe boxes, boxed our TV's and took apart and reassembled every bed frame, furniture piece and refrigerator. The guys were extremely professional and very efficient. I couldn't have asked for a better service provider. Well worth the cost and made our move complete in one day. First, these guys are the Navy Seals of moving companies. By far the best movers in all of Los Angeles, if not the United States. Their rate for 3 guys was the same as the other moving companies that Yelp "recommended" charged for 2 guys. If you're reading this, you're clearly doing your research. Perhaps you've had past lackluster experiences with movers like I've had. But let me tell you why your search ends with Florez Elite Moving. The day began in Santa Monica. They arrived promptly at 9:30am with such energy, gusto, and amicable personality. They assessed each room in my apartment at light speed to size up the furniture strategy, devised a plan within a minute, and they were off. It reminded me of my high school football team where everything was done on the hustle. This tempo was maintained throughout the entire day, and they moved me two hours faster than my last movers, all the while professionally wrapping and padding all of my stuff -- something my old movers didn't even do. Everything they touched arrived at my new home in immaculate condition. I even had a large standing mirror they made a custom protective sleeve for out of a cardboard box. The care and attention to detail they invested into my move was mind blowing. They were so systematic too: Brandon organizing the truck, Ryder making runs from the truck to the apartment, and Fidel wrapping and packing. The times they needed to coordinate to take heavier items down was so seamless I felt like I was watching choreographed art. Similar to how NFL teams successfully march down to the goal-line during a 2 minute drill. It was masterful beyond words. They moved with such speed that you'd think that they were the ones paying me for the service of moving on the clock. Yet they never once cut corners. When we got to the new place in Pasadena, a two story home, there was a tight stairwell where there were signs of starch marks and dents from the moving done by the movers hired by the previous owners. Fidel pointed out areas of existing concern so that we would know that it wasn't them, and then they began to maneuvere each piece of furniture up to the second floor. I watched nervously as some oversized items looked like they were going to give the guys trouble. But instead, Fidel called out the shots and angles like a Quarterback. He applied geometry step-by-step to get the positions so perfect in the most masterful way I've ever seen geometry applied. They inched each furniture item delicately yet expeditiously around each corner and into their rightful places. I was so worn down already from packing and fatigue that Fidel, Ryder, and Brandon were absolutely my heroes. I'm a fit guy, but I was so tired and mentally worn down from working my job and prepping for the move simultaneously that I actually broke one vase and one framed art piece while trying to move them myself. This just amplified how thankful I was for the job that Florez Elite Moving did. When my search for movers originally began, I naturally went to Yelp. I found a lot of companies that were "recommended" but I went straight to the lowest rated reviews first because what customers repeatedly complain about and how the company responds tells you a lot about the service. After not being truly satisfied with the top "recommended" firms, I changed my Yelp filter from "recommended" to "highest rated". Florez moving jumped to the #1 Position on the list. I was amazed that for over 10 years, they've never received anything but a 5 star review. I knew they must have superb service, delivered at a great value, in order to sustain that streak. Now, I'm a forever customer and true believer. I can attest that they are the best of the best. The first crew packed and moved everything in my apartment and did an excellent job. Not a single item was broken. Chris and Fidel were excellent movers and I don't regret making the decision to hire movers for the first time in my life! I would definitely hire them again! I knew I hired the right guys when they backed the truck into the driveway. They arrived right on time and managed to get the truck into a tight driveway(street parking was full at the time). I thought I may have to move cars, but they navigated the truck perfectly into position. They quickly got started analyzing my boxes, items, and developed a plan to load into the truck in an efficient,space saving manner. I thought my stuff would take up the whole truck, but they did such a great job organzing the load in the truck, I had room to spare! They provided some wardrobe boxes for use during the move. They wrapped delicate items in moving blankets and shrink wrap and tape as needed. They did such a professional job of wrapping everything needed, and even fixing some items I had previously wrapped. They carefully wrapped a marble table top and it was delivered with no issues! They moved everything into my new residence quickly, despite moving from a 1 story residence to a 2 story residence, they had no troubles. These guys were positive and professional the whole time. These guys were strong, courteous and even very funny at times. Thank you! *Tips -make sure to clear out parking around your driveway for your move. I forgot to do this. --make sure to clear out a parking spot for the movers at your new residence, to make the delivery even quicker! (I didn't do this, but they still delivered my items quickly into my new home. ---Hire movers - it is worth every penny with these guys! ---Hire a 3rd guy, which will make the move even quicker and more efficient! I would hire a 3rd guy next time. Often two guys are needed for some items, so a 3rd guy would be helpful with other items and getting things ready in the truck. -----ask for Chris and Fidel! read more

We moved from Azusa, CA, to Arizona. Ruben, Ryder were very kind and super efficient. They gave us updates on when they were going to arrive and kept to the schedule. They arranged our possessions neatly, in rows, so that the pathways were not blocked. I noticed that they were very considerate and gentle with all the items--they were mindful of our floors and walls, and lifted and placed items gently. They had a list/number tag system and made sure every item was accounted for. Billing was transparent and very reasonable. I recommend this company super highly. We just used Florez Elite Movers to move our one-bedroom apartment and it was the best experience. All of the guys were super friendly, wore masks and took very good care of all our furniture and plants. We were so impressed, and would highly recommend using Florez movers to anyone in the LA area. Keep in mind they do come with a pretty big truck, but it worked out okay even though we had to have them park in a back street and block several neighbors. They were extremely flexible and moved extra fast to make sure we didn't make any neighbors mad. The big truck was also nice, since you always end up having more furniture and crap than you realize.
