This is my 3rd time using a moving company, and they were THE BEST! My movers were Alex Serikbay and Sherkhan. They are very careful with your things and wrap all of your items well. In the past I have used movers and they don't always wrap everything well and safely, but they do! It takes a while in the beginning to wrap and move everything into the truck... BUT... trust the process. I promise they will take great care of all of your items and they communicative throughout the whole process with asking where you want things to go. Also, they do not nickel and dime you for everything. If there is a potential for an extra fee such as moving a big item to the 3rd floor, they will let you know beforehand. However, just know the fees are company standard, not them just charging extra. I'm really happy with my move and would book them again read more

I paid 2k for my move which was only 6 miles which was fine. They started out great, wrapped everything (so I thought). It was 2 small 950sf units moving together. They tell us they're all done and we proceed to the new location. They were good about putting the beds back together etc. while still unloading Alex sends us links to post reviews pressuring us for 5 stars and to send him a screen shot once completed and kept asking if it was done. I tipped each of the 4 workers $100. Also when we went back to the units there was TONS of stuff that was left behind. We ended up having to rent a U-Haul the next day to move the stuff ourselves. It filled half of a medium size truck. Alex said they ran out of room. Very disappointed as it started out so good. Well 2 months later I go to the garage for my extra pair of mid century modern 60 year old tables that I sold to find BOTH with 2 inch gouges in them and they weren't protected and wrapped in anything. They were in perfect condition for 60 years. It went un noticed because as I said, 2 homes merging to 1 so the garage was full of the EXTRAS. Needless to say I didn't receive the $1400 they were sold for. read more

They got it down with ease. Note that the townhouse was very badly designed, and still was able to get it down. A quick shoutout to the guy with the beanie (Kiril I think his name) he's very resourceful and quick with his thinking. You'll see what I mean when you have him in service. This I think is the most important aspect of their service: they were laser focus on the job. They move fast on their feet and thinking. No time wasted from the hourly charge. I am one of those people who thinks the tipping culture is out of control, but I did not have to think twice providing one with their superb service. It's too bad, but I really feel like I should write an update. Our items were in storage for 4 months before we could move back into our renovated home and some of the items were just not packaged well. We did 95% of the packing, but the movers did help with some miscellaneous items. It seemed fine in the moment and they were working so quickly that I really didn't have time to scrutinize their packing job. Now, that we are finally moved back in we saw that the items they packed we so poorly done. For example, a really nice, expensive, leather ottoman was packaged so tight with saran wrap that it's left permanent wrinkles on the leather. A box with valuables was already packed, but they placed it in another box so that all the valuables broke. Also, they did things like placing a huge bag of rice on top of other items in a box. So of course, everything underneath was crushed by the weight of the rice. Everything they packed had no consideration for our items. Even before unpacking all of our stuff we decided not to hire them again because they were so, so, so pushy about leaving a review on the spot. read more

Update: We originally gave them a nice review, but we were pressured to do those reviews while they were still moving us. I am updating that review since we went back to the house we are moving out of and they left so much behind. I have no idea what they spent 10.5 hours doing, but it was not moving us out of our old home and into our new home. They disappeared for long periods of time it took much longer than we had planned. Not only that, but we are missing shelves to several of our cabinets and our washer and dryer hoses. We tried to tell them to take the big and heavy items, they told us they understood, but all those items were all left at our old house. We have to hire other movers to finish the job since we cannot lift those items nor will they fit in our car. Please save your money and try another company. read more

This moving company was a mixed bag- some good and some bad. We decided to hire professional movers to help us move our heaviest furniture seven miles to prevent personal injury, excessive damage to our belongings and simplify the process. The items moved were: a solid oak twin bed, a four poster queen bed, three night stands, two dressers, a small desk, small couch, loveseat and chair, refrigerator and a flat screen tv. They did not move any boxes or miscellaneous items. This took two movers six hours. I actually booked through Melrose Moving and they suggested two movers for two hours for the job. The good: They arrived on time The movers were very respectful Everything was carefully wrapped everything in blankets- nothing was damaged They did not have a minimum of three people for three hours like most other companies I contacted. Even though it was more expensive than the estimate, we still probably saved a few hundred dollars over other companies' minimum. Not as good: The movers were very slow. They did not appear to be drawing the time out purposely... they just moved at slug's pace They were not prepared to remove our fridge door and put it back on even though I disclosed this when I booked They did not provide us an itemized copy of the contract and receipt They did not seem to know about the "two hour two mover special" I had booked which was supposed to include 4 free miles I booked through "Melrose Moving" and this company showed up Overall if I had it to do again, I would have moved every single item I could physically lift myself to reduce the time it took for the move. I would recommend them only to those who are more focused on caution than cost. read more

They packaged and wrapped all items carefully and did some heavy moving. They did all of this while atill being very nice.
