I'm handicapped & I've notified them of it. They still keep raising my rent exponentially. My hands aren't tied! I think it's absolutely disgusting to take advantage of somebody that has medical issues. I've asked to use the exit door closest to my unit & they say it's not possible because it will turn the alarm on. They have access to turn the alarm off. MAJOR PROB. My guess is there's new owners (from initial) that don't GAF about Customer Service. FYI - the unit has been rented for quite a while. We had a very good experience using AAA Quality Self Storage. We moved from a large home to a much smaller place and had to rent 3 storage bays! Josie worked with us to get the best possible location and was patient with us while we made our decisions. Another GREAT thing they offer is the one time use of their moving truck. That was SOO helpful for the larger items! Every time we go there, we are greeted with soothing music, the place is clean, and they always have moving carts available to use. We also appreciate their nice big, tall elevators. The in and out is very easy as well, especially with the app, where you can open the gate with your phone. We were able to downsize to 2 units and then 1, unit, each time applying any time already paid for, to the remaining units. That was a very nice feature. We also always felt very safe, even on nights and weekends. The place is very well lit. I would recommend AAA Quality Self Storage to anyone looking for a good, dependable storage facility. Worst management ever, they disabled my access to my unit, even I'm paying on time. Who gave you the right to disable my code ?????? I don't understand how they don't allow me to access my unit. If you are going to rent a unit think about it, the mean management might not allow you to get your unit just because they called you and you didn't answer. I'm not your slave. read more

Clean, safe, good value, excellent front-desk service describe AAA Quality Self Storage. Got a 10x12 unit which was stored all of our stuff during our move transition. Our unit was on the 2nd level. They are the Best! Just as the name states, this was a Quality experience! Lauren was awesome in providing all details needed to determine what size storage would fit my needs. The time she spent discussing my options was so helpful! The best part was that there were no deceptive fees or charges, as was discovered with other storage companies. Ron has been open and honest in assisting me in my account management. Great customer care, with quick email/phone responses to by questions and concerns. The facility is extremely secure, with large truck-loading docks and elevator access to upper floors. The storage facility is very clean, with internal aisles providing adequate access to your storage; even better was that your storage is kept in an air conditioned environment. All in all, considering I was not looking forward to using storage, this experience made it well worth it! read more

I am from Vancouver. Canada and recently rented a 10' x 12' storage unit from the Tustin location to store my daughter's apartment furniture and household goods while she returns to Canada for the next 6 months or so. My daughter had been living in Irvine so we also checked out a storage facility there. Both places were offering comparable prices with a deal on rent. However, I was really won over by the staff at the Tustin location because they were so helpful. I had originally spoken with Ron at the Tustin location from my home in Vancouver and he was very helpful and provided me with all the initial information. Then I was wowed by Lauren's amazing customer service when I showed up in Tustin to see the unit. Lauren was so pleasant and professional and was extremely helpful with making arrangements for us to borrow their truck to move all the furniture into our unit. On the moving day, we went and picked up the truck at the storage facility and although it was big enough to house all of the furniture and household goods from the 2 bedroom apartment. it was really easy to drive and get around in. And, if was free to use!! We were able to back the truck right close to the elevator bay and there were carts that we could unload our furnishings on and take up the elevator. The move-in was so quick because it was all so convenient. We are happy that we chose to store my daughter's belongings with AAA Self Storage in Tustin because the process was made easy and everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. read more

We are very happy with the service and facilities here. I compared prices in the area and was given the best deal at AAA Quality Self Storage. Ron, the manager, showed my mom and me some units that were available and was very up front about the pros and cons of each (such as factors like lighting which I would not have really thought of) which we really appreciated. Ron has been so kind, helpful and professional to work with. My mom who is in her 70s feels very comfortable going to the facility knowing Ron is nearby in the office. The free use of the moving truck was an extra special bonus that we made sure to take advantage of since it's a great way to save money. I definitely recommend this facility and its management. One of the better things they offer that I'm almost certain other facilities don't is a moving truck when you are moving in which was/is EXTREMELY helpful and alleviates some moving cost. I've had a storage unit at the facility now for about four years and have only had one issue regarding billing that was handled with attentiveness and empathy by the staff. The facility is always organized and clean with mellow music playing through the PA system. On the occasions when I have had to go inside the office to speak about anything, Ron, Ed or Olivia have always been friendly and welcoming. I've referred a sibling and a girlfriend to AAA storage and although I am back living in Long Beach, I will continue to refer anyone I know and will use this storage facility until I purchase a home. read more

A+ experience at this place. The other reviews must be outdated. This is the best self-storage place I've seen, and I was very happy with it. The people who work here are super helpful, friendly, and professional. They were very upfront about how they charge, and they don't have hidden fees like other places I've been to. In every aspect this place had the most reasonable pricing. 1) Rent is at least 20% cheaper than other storage options in Irvine, and they were happy to give me an additional 50% discount for the first 3 months. 2) I had free use of the move-in truck for 20 miles and didn't have to replenish the gas before returning it (15 minutes of my time right there). 3) The administration fee of $15 was waved with automatic rent payment, and they have an email invoice system. 4) Renter's insurance is not required. Also, this place is relatively clean and ventilated inside. It is not climate controlled, but the air isn't thick, smelly, and humid like some other places I've been to. read more

This is a review for the rv parking I was referred here by the Lake Forest location where I have a storage locker. For the past four years I have stored my boat here from around labor day to memorial day. The staff has been accomodating each time I have rented a space. Last year when I returned from the river they didn't have a space my size, so they rented me a larger one at the same price I was paying plus still gave me a move in special. The hours of operation could be better. Coustomer service is good when I go there and never had a bad experience with the pepole. It be nice to have a remote to open the gate to access the building after hours. a program for customers that have been there should be created. If youy have been using the storage for 6 months or more you should get a discount on your monthly rent. read more

We were looking for temporary storage for some items prior to our move. Our first point of contact by phone was Cindy, who was extremely nice and very professional. We came by to check everything out and Cindy showed us all around. We were surprised by how clean and orderly everything was. We had one years ago at another location and were not as lucky. We also really liked the safety aspect as well; security cameras, set hours, etc. We also felt the rates (especially with our Yelp deal) were extremely fair and competitive. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful! Units are clean and well maintained. The back units are currently having the elevator repaired so access is difficult for large items to be stored in 3rd floor units but plenty of notice was provided and stair access is still available. I'm glad the elevator is being maintained as well as the rest of the place. Large, heavy items are frequently taken up-and-down that elevator so I would imagine that proper maintenance is really important. Did I mention that there are always dollies on hand in those elevators? Those are a godsend! read more

As other reviewers noted, this is a storage facility that has the units inside a building. I have worked mostly with Olivia, who is pleasant, accommodating, flexible, polite, and very, very helpful. She recommended solutions for all of our storage needs, and helped to settle a dispute between us and our moving company. I did my homework and found a secure, climate controlled, storage facility where I am sure, as a woman, that I am safe first and foremost, with my stuff being safe as an afterthought. This storage facillity has cameras everywhere and is also equipped with a fun alarm system that notifies management when someone is in a unit. Everybody has their own password to get in and out of the property, so your password would notify management what unit you are entering. They do not have extended hours, which decreases problems that compromise security, and I know for sure that nobody lives in any of the units. When I checked out a couple other places, I was not sure about that. AAA Quality Self Storage runs a tight ship with security, and even has a truck for you to use if you need to move stuff. They are very professional, and I know that I am safe here. The manager Lauren is really great to work with and took very good care of me. read more

Searching for temporary storage and came back to AAA. They have large clean indoor units, great location with friendly, helpful staff.

I wish the hours were more geared for those who work full time jobs. I experienced a scary incident where I was almost locked in the outside gated area because the key code wouldn't open the gate to let me out after hours. There should be some emergency security setting where you're able to contact a live person after hours ,through the keypad, to let you out when stuck inside. I was lucky that someone had an "after hours" code to let me out. With that said, the people working in the office have always been nice and helpful. I do like the fact that the storage units are inside the building. read more
