Ben is so uninvolved in his business he'll lie about a day a potential customer didnt call. I am sorry everyone that my response is delayed but I recently got my phone fixed, so I let him enjoy a little time before he gets called out. But here are the screenshots below. This is a well maintained, well managed and very clean storage business. The rental process was very fast and easy. I got a good size unit at a good rate. My only thing is that I wish the gate hours were open a little earlier and open a little later. Other than that it's been all good. This place has a WHOLE LOT MORE "PRO's" than "CON's". This place is EMACULATE when it comes to cleanliness. I came fron Extra Space Storage in Stanton, and was completely blown away at how clean this place was. Its fairly quiet, and SAFE, SAFE, SAFE! I leave my car doors open while I unload my stuff, and trust having my car unlocked while I am here. NO PESTS OR RODENTS, OR even "shady homeless people on bikes" here like at Extra Space. The onky things that I dislike are: 1. The gate hours. The coincide with the office hours. I get WHY, but my busy schedule and last minute trips is why the gate access hours are a bit of a "struggle" for me personally. 2. There is no light inside the units. 3. The dumpster isnt always unlocked. I rated this place 5 stars because simply, it DESERVED the rating. The CONS listed above are due to my own personal needs/necessities, that I am sure do not apply to everyone. This is an amazing, clean, and safe facility for storing your needs. So happy I found this place. I requested for quotes here on yelp for a storage unit in OC and Brenda was the only one that got back to me with detailed quotes and no hidden fees. I called Brenda to verify and put a unit on hold, she was professional and kind answering all my questions. When I went into the office I met with Brenda and she walked me through the process, thoroughly explained everything, and got me out of there in a timely manner. We had our new 20hp Outboard stolen off the back of our boat. Cut cables, bolts, everything to get the 119 lb motor off and of course Mini Public storage says they did not see anything on their camera's. They up to-date have not allowed us to review the tapes personally. Basically say call your insurance company not our problem. One of the employees when asked refused to look at us at all. Draw your own conclusions but there have been other thefts there and its amazing that the camera's quit working around those times. They don't even deserve my 1 star they should be negative stars. Decent price but the use of the "free" moving truck is very deceptive. You only get to use it for moving in and only if you are only going 20 miles round trip. I picked this location partly because of the truck and because it was close to outlet new house we would be moving into. Even though the truck was just sitting at the location all day they refused to allow us to use it to move out. You would think that you would want me to refer your location to others to store thing but I guess not. Also the manager was very rude to me over the phone when I asked to use the truck. Just got a late fee of $25 because my credit card number changed. In the past they would call me if there was any problem with my auto payment but not anymore. I get an standard email 22 days after due date saying payment is 21 days late and adding late fee. Called them to request a one time credit but no dice. Crazy that you have a full time manager and they can't call when there's a payment issue especially when you've been a longtime customer for more than 6 years. Guess it's time for me to find another storage company. read more

Original review, Last min, in a lot of pain: "Unbelievable! I call to let Brenda know I'll be moving in Fri, as I am disabled & have to pay an assistant with a tight schedule. I get there, NO ONE HOME @10 AM, THEY OPEN AT 8AM! So I have2 be driven home, reload boxes into my apt, & call, with a migraine, asking why there was no notice of the absence, or why she didn't tell me the day before, when I CALLED. (She "has no set time,& put up a sign") No apology-even her employee couldn't get in & said he'd been toldit would be at least another half hour. This woman was so incredibly rude, I was shocked-she's above putting a notice on her voice mail (because she doesn't want someone to know she's at the bank)" Excuse me? 2 Digit IQ? HOW WOULD THEY KNOW WHERE SHE WAS GOING? OHHH...NO SET TIME. SO WE ALL GET TO WAIT? DODGED A BULLET THERE. & WHAT A SMARTA**! I tell her I'm taking my business esewhere,& she retorts, "Fine, have a nice day!"-(in the most condescending tone possible. If you want 2 deal with that for your hard earned cash, good luck. This is definitely one of the best public storage facilities I've ever been too. I got a unit about 4 or so years ago and Brenda was amazing giving me the information with honesty and also figuring out what I truly needed. Never had any issues and they were very accommodating. I moved recently and I needed a storage unit, the first place I thought of was this place. I remembered how great the customer service was as well as how clean it was. The staff at Mini Public storage are so helpful and accommodating of their tenants.. I have rented for several years and its be a very pleasant experience. I love that I can pay a year advance and get 1 month free! The hours work for my schedule and they do a good job of announcing when they will be closed. On one occasion I was going to a little late arriving to drop off some items and Brenda stayed late allowing me to drop them off vs coming back the next day. Jeff has also helped cut my lock once when I lost my key, which was very nice and although they typically charge for this service they waived the fee as a 1 time courtesy. The bonus is that they sell locks, so I was able to pick up a new one right there in the office. I really like mini public and feel that my items are safe & secure! Highly recommended read more

renting a pod in driveway while having work done on our house - they are so friendly (very family orientated company) - HIGHLY recommend

I have been a customer of MPS for several years and am quite pleased with their services. I use the RV storage and it is generally quite a good value. I particularly like that you can pay 12 mos in advance and get one free. Free is always good! My 'neighbors' are mixed with at least one trying to cram as much junk as possible between their lines, which leaves little room on one side of my RV. If everyone did this, it would be a big problem, so wish there was a bit more enforcement of being courteous as well as limiting the RV spots to actual vehicles & trailers, and saving the storage of 'junk' for enclosed garages. The only other missing links are that there is no on-site RV dump (however, there is a GREAT one just down the street at Gassy Dan's propane). They do have a dumpster on-site for trash disposal which is helpful. And, finally, while it is gated with a key code (good), they still have limited hours for which you can get in/out (bad). I have gotten stuck inside once and had to call Westminster PD to get me out! Seems odd and unnecessary, particularly as I'm pretty sure they have CC cameras, etc. I have received a few rent increases over the years, but have not yet looked around to compare. At one point, I felt they were the best value. I should probably at least confirm they remain so. Overall very happy. read more

After 10+ years we've actually cleared enough room at home to no longer need self storage. Mini Public Storage was our 3rd storage provider. All in all, they were the cleanest, most hassle free, most secure, easiest to work with and most importantly - slowest to raise their rates. We'd choose them again. read more

There isnt a free moving truck at this location.it was parked the 3 months i had a storage there and I wasnt able to use it at all.it was never available.gate hours fluctuated closed early or opened late.never received giftcard they offered during special promotion,was told i would receive via email but never did.walmart confirmed they do not send gift cards through email nor do they offer email gift cards to public.not sure why management doesnt offer courtesy rides on the golfcart the manager rides around on for fun,theres only one gate to enter one gate to exit its not convienant. Im not sure where the employees learned customer service skills from ,but corporate needs to explain to them that this is a buisness not the yard,they really need to brush up on people skills. read more
