We received a call from the Sheriff's Office informing us that our Toy Hauler had been broken into and that all of our belongings inside--including our side-by-side--were stolen. The storage facility never attempted to notify us of the break‑in, is refusing to provide access to the security footage, the owner will not answer the phone, and the front office staff will not disclose their insurance information. According to the police report, the thieves entered the facility at 5:50 a.m. The on-site patrol ends at 5:00 a.m., and the front office does not open until 9:00 a.m. The thieves clearly knew the facility's vulnerable window, raising concerns about a potential inside job. They used a grinder to cut through the steel gate, broke into our Toy Hauler, stole all of our property, and drove away in our side‑by‑side through the adjacent riverbed. Although the facility refuses to release the video to us, the Sheriff stated the footage is too dark to identify anything except sparks from the grinder. The gate area is poorly lit, making the cameras ineffective, and the gate is not alarmed. We were not the only victims this day. The gate was cut in three additional locations that same night, and other tenants had bikes, jet skis, and trailers stolen. These Yelp Reviews show a long history of similar break‑ins from 2016-2026, often involving thieves cutting the gate during unpatrolled hours. Despite this documented pattern, the facility has made no meaningful security improvements--such as adding alarms, proper lighting, or staff coverage during vulnerable hours. This repeated pattern of neglect strongly suggests ongoing facility negligence and raises reasonable concerns about potential inside involvement. read more

They are a little expensive. The spaces are not super wide. The people in the front will help you back up. My space is covered. They also have a wash place. I was told they have a dump station. I have not seen it. So, for what you get the price is ok. It is a big place. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had a court order granting me access to units that were in my husbands name. My husband refused to grant me access violating the order and when I explained to the storage facility they didn't give a shit. My husband also stopped paying so the units were going up for auction today. I just found that out last week when my husband added me as an alternate contact to try to make me pay the outstanding charges $3400!! I was just trying to get some sentimental items. I showed up to the auction to talk with the person who purchased the units. I also asked the manager and owner for something in writing stating that my husband told them he would not give me access. I showed them the court order. The manager Maria was not helpful at all, The owner Tim was a complete dick and said I'm not a tenant, I'm not allowed on the property or to call them and he's not going to explain anything to me. I explained the situation and that I just wanted something in writing as now I've lost all my stuff because my asshole husband violated a court order. He refused to put it in writing and said to not contact them again. read more

I had my storage here for two years and in the past nine months my storage unit has been broken into twice this last time the thief took absolutely everything in my unit. There's poor communication with Maria the manager she thought I had moved out why not call to confirm They need to upgrade their camera system and need to be more vigilant about what happens in that facility, I do not recommend anyone to keep their stuff here at all. read more

They don't take cash but they do take debit , money order, credit card and checks. They sell boxes, bubble wrap and tape. In case you are u prepared and need to secure your items safely. read more

We rented a covered space for our RV in 2018. Since that time, our catalytic converter, the RV, and almost 100% of the contents have been stolen from the yard. The first incident occurred in 2021, during the pandemic when the catalytic converter was stolen. Given supply chain issues, it was extremely difficult and stressful to find and replace the catalytic converter before we left for a cross-country trip. In December 2023 the RV was stolen and almost 100% of the contents were removed. Fortunately, LAPD found our RV. We are in the process of getting the exterior and interior damage fixed and the contents replaced. This has been a long, stressful, very expensive, emotionally draining process that has taken our vehicle out of commission for at least three months. The theft of our RV occurred because someone cut the chain-link fence to access the yard, tampered with the door locks, and used something like a screwdriver to start the engine. The thieves cut the chain that powered the entry gate, drove out, and returned to steal another vehicle! This occurred around 3:00 am when there was supposed to be personnel on duty patrolling the yard. Initially, Storage Outlet was accommodating as we were given a 2-month reprieve on our rental fee, but when we asked for an extension for another month, we were denied. Additionally, in considering whether to continue to use Storage Outlet, we inquired whether any safety and security improvements had been made such as alarming the gate with an audible or silent alarm, we were told that nothing had or was going to be done! We are not the first people to complain about the safety and security of Storage Outlet. Having learned that no security improvements will be made, we found another arrangement that is more secure and costs less per month. After all we have been through, I would never use Storage Outlet again. read more

A very dishonest place. I had agreed to come down and review a rental space for my R.V., With the Manager(Maria). I arrive to review the space with the manager and I agree to rent. As soon as I return to the office, I am told I can not rent the space since someone had just rented it. I then tell the manager, "I do not understand?, I just reviewed the location with you, and have agreed to rent it". The manager then informs me that their website takes priority over the rental locations. I then tell her, " what's the point of bringing me down here to review a location?, and then tell me I am not allowed to rent it. This was a total waste of my time, This location is very disorganized. I would like to have someone reach out to me to resolve this issue. read more

PLEASE DO NOT KEEP ANYTHING VALUABLE HERE. After storing here for less than 3 months our enclosed trailer was broken into. Our kids quads and dirtbikes were all stolen from the trailer. It is currently 5 days after we were told our trailer was compromised and the storage employee informed me that she is still too busy to look through the footage to provide any information. 10k worth of stolen items- but they have other priorities. After our break in i have had MANY people reach out to me in the same situation. In May an enclosed trailer was stolen with a sandrail inside. In July alone there were break ins with theft of off road toys on the 4th, 12th, 18th and that is only counting those from people who reached out to me. The storage outlet is fully aware of this problem, yet they refuse to provide any night time security. Fair warning- do not store here. read more

Don't look to this place for long term or secure/safe storage. Storing my RV here for almost a year and a half and they have raised my storage fees twice and my gas Scooter that was chained to my RV was stolen after the thieves cut the the fence, and dragged it through the park. No heads up for people to check their property just in case. Another negative is that this place requires you to have insurance on your vehicle and do not provide an option for additional coverage if your unable to aquire full coverage for your 37 year old rv. That means, if your vehicle is damaged or stolen there is no way to recoup your loss and they will not be liable. Additionally, their is no after hours security to verify who is entering the facility so whenever towtruck renters go in and out throughout the night, ANYONE can piggyback and enter.
