I had great experience at US storage centers (Norwalk). I ended up canceling my storage after everything was fully paid because my friend needed my help by renting her house so I didn't need storage anymore. Every time I called or visited Ivette and Filbert, they were always welcoming, patient and accommodating. They didn't even give me any attitudes or guilt trip because I canceled. I told Filbert how much I appreciated that they didn't charge any penalty and his response was "That's how the business should be". I would definitely recommend to my friends and would use this storage in the future. Thank you Ivette and Filbert! You guys are such a nice people with good heart! read more

I made plans ahead of time to move my things from my storage unit to my new apartment. My mother and step-father called off work to help me move. When we entered the code into the keypad it said access denied many times. I have been there everyday since December 26 with no issues with the keypad until January 1, 2021 -- on the very day I was to move. I was so desperate for help that I called all the visible 800 numbers and knocked on all the windows of the property manager apartment. There was no answer from the property manager apartment, but I was able to speak to Odalys, service rep and Tina, Supervisor from 800 numbers. Tina said there was a $50 exit fee for the code. I explained that there are signs everywhere that say the storage facility is open 365 days with access hours from 6am-9pm, it was currently 8:00am. I should not have been denied access and should not be charged a $50 exit fee, especially when I have already paid for my storage unit in advance. This experience has not only hurt me but also my parents, who lost a days work of pay to help me move and I was unable to move because I could not access my storage unit. I had really high hopes for US storage facility but I am left utterly disappointed. My refund of the rental and administration fee should be returned to me because you did not fulfill your end of the contract as stated by the many signs that are posted on your company. read more

Bad advertising I came here to get a storage unit because it was advertised that first month is 50% off but when I came the lady on front desk said that special was for March but I told her in your website doesn't say anything about dates (I insisted and she kept saying is always first day of the month) and I find that false advertising and told her that and she didn't care so they need to improve customer service because they are not the only place and they just lost a customer because I had a storage here before time ago but they didn't treat me like that So guys I recommend to check before coming and make sure they're giving you a deal so it won't be disappointed. read more

I have used this storage location off and on for several years. About 6 months ago I started to store my RV here. The staff and management are amazing!!! Every time I'm there I see the manager Filbert riding through on the golf cart, he smiles, waves and ask if everything is ok. A few weeks ago I got a call from him saying that my camper door was open. He told Me that he closed it but I should come and check that everything was ok and that he had checked the video camera and didn't see anything unusual. I came and checked and everything was fine, I simply hadn't closed the door fully when I had left. I feel very secure about leaving my belongings here, between the onsite security systems and the attentive management, I have great piece of mind! read more

Where should I start? So I started using US storage in Norwalk in 2019 before the pandemic and was cool to start off... Once I moved in it became a money scam started paying $80 and by the end almost $300-$400. One day Filbert came up to me to offer cold water when it was like 105 degrees outside to leave a nice review but that's where the red flags began. So yesterday I moved out and forgot some valuable belongings in doorway because we got distracted from some sketchy things going on outside with Filberts "workers". I come back to ask about my stuff and Filbert comes out saying "oh you signed saying you didn't leave anything behind" ... I proceeded to lie and say my neighbors "told me" they seem him taking it out" right away he said "oh yes now I remember I did store some of your things" he proceeded to take out almost $5000 worth of perfumes and jewelry and personal items" stored inside of his garage. WOW I had to use reverse psychology on this damn place please take your money elsewhere. They will steal from you and lie to your face!!!!!!!!!! read more
