Great storage spot for our RV centrally located in Long Beach. The staff is mainly nice, but one stands out the most, Junior. He is so kind and compassionate, he calls every month to make sure our rent is paid in time so we don't incur any fees and is always such a joy to speak with over the phone. This storage place is pretty expensive, but so are most in the Long Beach area. The facilities are nice and clean and well secured so that's all we need! Right now I had to give Cherry Carson RV a 3 only because of RJ who works the front desk. RJ wouldn't let us speak to the manager Jay after already speaking to Jay in regard to work information on the application to rent a space. Our insurance which we do have, made a mistake on the VIN info. And RJ wouldn't let us talk to Jay to explain. He refused our rental. We needed to store our trailer because the city of Carson is giving tickets for parking our trailer outside of our house while we are preparing to move. We left and found another storage in Orange County when Daniel called and said that we could get the space at Cherry Carson RV because they offer their own insurance. Even though we have proof of insurance. So thank you Daniel for doing your job and fixing what RJ couldn't. The place seems clean and secure. Easy access. It's close to our home. So the value of that alone is helpful. I will update in a month on any changes. read more

The only reason I left good reviews before was for a discount off my monthly rent and it's probably the only reason why anyone else has left a good review. They won't give you a discount if there is a pothole on your rental spot but will give it to you if you leave a positive review. This place is ran by a bunch of unkind people. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Cameras do not work in all rows. My toy hauler was almost taken from here. It was not taken to management nor investigated. Just to find out cameras do not work in the row I was parked. BUT, management will investigate a worker reporting me for taking too long (25 min) to swap out my very heavy batteries. That was thoroughly investigated and u don't have a word in edge wise as a paying customer. They bully u here and if u stick up for yourself they say they feel threatened LOL. I've also witnessed them yell at tenants for leaving or coming in to facility if they didn't wait their turn to log key pad but also not do it to other tenants when they did the same. Very poor management all the way around. Avoid! At all cost. There are lots of other places to store your vehicle. I would say try another place before here and you'll save $$$$$ and be treated better. read more

For the most part a friendly staff. Had a theft from the facility my 1st month there. The internal investigation report given to me is a joke. They couldn't take the time to fill it out completely...When inquiring on the process to collect on the insurance that your forced to take I'm handed business cards for property manager and maintenance manager. The lack of concern on the management to want to figure out who committed the theft on their property is not a priority at all. If I had a fox running around in my chicken coupe I would make every effort to find that fox and remove it. read more

Visited and chose a spot, I was told I could get everything started and would hold it. I sent all the info I had. When I arrived after an all day drive, we were turned away. I had tow vehicle registration, trailer & boat & tow vehicle insurance but someone had stolen the reg for current reg for boat/trailer but found an old copy (last year). All had same name. It was dark, they were going to close and they turned me away. We had no where to go. No place to park in the community in which I live. They didn't care. read more

Tip for September 2020: Now is the time to get ready for the rain. I mentioned Flex Seal in a previous tip, but it barely lasted 2 years. I've had a lot of folks recommend Henry's 887 Tropical Silicone Reflective Roof Coating. Available at Home Depo for ~$60. We'll see how well it lasts. read more

After months of storing our travel trailer via "on street parking", (and hearing all the neighbor complaints), we decided to bite the bullet. So we moved our trailer to Carson / Cherry RV Storage at the recommendation of relatives / friends. I have to say that we have been extremely pleased with the customer service, the flexibility, the overall price and especially the security that comes along with Carson / Cherry RV Storage. The initial rental process was relatively easy. One just needs to be sure to have the required documentation, (registration, proof of insurance, etc.), beforehand. They will show you all available rental spaces, go over cost, drive you by each spot and let you "test" each for ease of parking, overall locale, etc. Recently, I considered switching to a newer spot, (I was in Row G, which is not a pull-thru). Since I was interested in increasing the ease of parking my trailer, I was looking at both pull-thrus, row ends and / or something in Row "A" which, while still a 27' site, provides a little more room to back in. After speaking with Mike on the phone, he asked me to come in and see what they could do. Some "pull-thrus" were available (at a slightly higher cost), but he also noted that some sites were available in Row A, (same size, same price). He said if I was interested, just go ahead and check the available sites out and if I liked any of them, just come on back to the office and we'd start the revised paperwork. Well, I did and we did, it was that simple!!! All can say is "keep doing what you're doing cuz you're doing it right!!! read more

Do yourselves a big favor and DO NOT COME HERE!! First off, they have people working there that aren't even workers. I am beyond annoyed how poorly this place is ran. We called on a Friday to make sure they were opened it took 1 hour for someone to actually answer the phone. I asked are you open on Saturday to which he replied yes we are I asked for a second time, "are you sure because we had issues when we went to pick up our RV" the gentlemen said yes it's open there is No problem. We get to the facility at 3 pm to find the same person blocking our entry. I asked him what is going on and he started mouthing off retorted by telling me to shut up if you know what's good for you I'll have the Mexican mob get you" I was appalled my godfather got very scared since he is 90 and stage 4 Cancer. We should have called the police on the spot but had family waiting for us outside and did not have time for this type of drama. About 10 minutes later a woman called and started yelling at my Godfather. I grabbed the phone at this juncture and asked who is this? She would not give me her name. She was extremely rude and right away accused me without even knowing the full story of yelling at her precious Daniel. I couldn't even get a word in she sounded like she was high on something and speaking very incoherently. Had she let me speak I finally was able to talk and she then said the most outlandish thing, she stated I'm not on the lease Mr. Roberts is and she is evicting me. This made absolutely no sense. So I asked how are you evicting me if like you said, I am not on the lease. She just kept jibber- jabbing I had had enough and hung up the phone. I have contacted my Attorney this place is Ridiculous anyway. I will say this again, do yourselves a big favor and stay far far away from this horrid Business. read more
