Then if you have insurance they will only pay for the cleaning in which it states that it covers up to 10k but your stuff has to be damaged. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else if you need a secure storage unit. The prices here might seem to be more affordable but it all makes sense after I read up more about this place. I only rented a space here for about 1.5 months and it was already broken in and all my stuff taken. So I immediately filed a police report and cancelled my account. Of course I was told that burglary was rare at this facility when I went in to sign up. I even asked if I can use an extra lock for more security but that option was not available and was forced to use only the one on their door. Just from when the officer was questioning the facility manager, it sounded there were multiple incidents that happened just a span of a month. And they never thought it was necessary to notify their customers at all unless there were obvious signs your unit was broken in. The thieves that took my stuff somehow managed to open my unit door without even taking the lock off. MY ONLY ADVICE is to do more research and read up on other people's experiences at any storage place before using their service. I don't know if it's the area or this facility in particular but if you have anything valuable and need to store it somewhere, don't take a chance here. read more

Due to terrible life events I had to move I went online and got a deal on a storage I needed more room so I got another. Now times are tough for many. I walk In and was told I am not allowed to have another unit at promo rate. I ask for manager and this heavy set rude ass girl comes up and tells me I'm a coupon surfer and I cannot have the unit I reserved. Now I am surprised. A coupon surfer yet NO WHERE ON AD FOES IT DAY NO MORE THAM ONE UNIT. Jessica replied agreeing it doesn't say you can't but she won't let me. Now I think it's ashame that trying to keep my stuff all together considers me a coupon surfer. I was just giving them more business. So unprofessional to treat people so poorly. My unit was broken into. EVERYTHING stolen. No Camara's coving area and lights not working. and it wasnt just mine but 3 other people as well. On site security is crap!!! So this took time. Ever since Sue left... this place has literally PLUMMETED STRAIGHT INTO THE GROUND!! Sue was the manager in charge here at this facility for MANY YEARS; she even lived in unit upstairs from the office. Sue was assertive and took crap from no ONE.. tenants included. She used to let me roll down my front Rolling gate door from time to time... due to the HIGH POPULATION IN MEN and me being a female all alone in my unit sorting my belongings out. And I would keep it raised during office hours and in daylight. Sue constantly watched the foot traffic coming into and leaving the premises. There were HARDLY ANY thefts and i remember her doing "walk throughs" with the Stanton Sheriffs K9 units throughout the ENTIRE property every 2-3 months; which meant... hardly any narcotic activity; unlike now. She was fired for something very petty and this business has clearly suffered her absence since day 1. The homeless population is at an all time high... thefts are happening ALWAYS...people sleep inside their units overnight, people who have a reserved parking spot there have all had their catalytic converters stolen. They recently changed the gate hours to match those of the office hours; NO LONGER CONVENIENT, for me, at least. They have a rodent problem in BOTH OUTDOOR AND INDOOR (climate controlled) units, and the rent continues to increase even though the access hours have been DRASTICALLY CUT. The Customer Service has been great from the staff but the rodent issue is out of control. The rat poop can be seen inside my units and in the hallways leading up to my units. I wouldn't use this company especially this site. They are on office hours only for access also due to thefts onsite it's been couple years.. Tried to call Stanton store several times on different days no one answered the phone. When I went to checkin for my registration on my unit I reserved online they only let you use there locks to buy, I had just bought a brand new lock and know the kind you have to use but that wasn't ok. They start adding this and that to contract so I decided not only access hours were not good but area was even worse STANTON and the customer service at all three diff&erent sites I tried were beyond poor. I realize where and what I was dealing with but I can't stand dealing with customer service people who don't care to make things right. I'm disabled and wasted two different trips (gas time energy) with my car and a UHaul van which also made me have to keep van another day more money out my pocket. As I proceeded to try a different site this Stanton facility black balled me to two other sites. They couldn't give me a free storage worse business I've ever dealt with. Never Go Here! I reserved a space online for $44 a month. First month rwnt free on a 4by5 unit. The internet tells you your reservation is good for 14 days. We even filled out the application online. Apparently, they try and call you 3 times back to back and if you do not answer they throw out your reservation!! Even with an email confirming our reservation we were just ass out. My Dad and I have two storage lockers and a shady employee around the place opened up my dads locker and stole our personal items and also rummaged through it all, leaving the place a mess.
