Earlier today there was a customer waiting at the gate for their registration and the manager did not open the gate causing horrible traffic. This place is infested with rats. I went to get my Christmas items and everything has rat pee and poop on it. Its so bad that my stuff smells like urine. I'm moving my stuff out. I've rented from other public storages before and never had any problems. I can't bring my stuff inside my Apt and I shouldn't have put it in my car. I DIDN'T KNOW until I went to the cdc website to see if there was a certain way to clean especially since they have bait traps everywhere. Huge inconvenience. I just bragged about an employee and how wonderful and kind they were BUT MY LAST few trips there have been horrifying as the employee juan has been harassing my husband in ways that are not professional we have been nothing but Compliant but this guy really has a chip on his shoulders puffs out his chest and threatening to call cops (twice now) for absolutely no reason then after my first complaint he got very upset and came at my husband again because we called corporate and he was angry and needed to let us know he was angry about the complaint like he's been waiting for us! has any one else had trouble with this guy ? I was locked into the facility 5 minutes after closing time Saturday night. I called the 800 number and was told I had to call the police to get out. "Sir our facility is closed now" So the office could not be bothered to view the security system and see my car in the loading area our me walking to the office to discuss Insurance? Also is infested with rats had droppings on my stuff and also since didn't cancel before the 31st wich the apartment I rented wasn't given to me till the first wich it was on a work day and started moving on the 4th I got charged for the rest of that ne month.... Juan is a HOE. He closed the gate 15 mins prior to the close time, and got scared and locked himself in his office all because I simply asked him a question. I asked if I can stay a few mins after 5 at first he agreed to stay a few mins to wait for me to unload then all of a sudden he got scared and/ or lied. I didn't get loud with him or anything. Next morning I came early in the morning to unload my truck because he locked me out the night before. I had to pay a whole another day for the uhaul truck. Immediately upon seeing me he locked himself in his office again. I knocked on the door very politely and quietly and requested to borrow a dolly which is included in my rental rate and he responded by saying "No, I feel threatened and uncomfortable by you and ignored me" I'm a young female by myself what could I possibly do to him ? Lol I'm truly confused on why Juan acted like this I did absolutely nothing to him. I'm very hurt by his actions and ashamed I'm paying my money to such a crappy company. This location is unprofessional this is the worst experience I've had a storage unit in my life. read more

They won't cooperate, the police have said this location is notorious for "break ins" which are likely the employees and owners themselves who are the thieves due to the lack of police cooperation. Do NOT give this place business!!! I repeat, Do NOT give this place your possessions!!! About 50K of my collectibles were stolen from this facility!!! The lock (which you HAVE to purchase from them) was unharmed and I am the only person with a key and the only person who knew where my storage was located! I lost my life's work in collecting valuables that meant so much to me. I thought this place was secure and trustworthy, as that is what they promised me when signing my contract. Upon filing a police report, I have been notified by my investigator that there have been numerous reports of "theft" at this particular location and little to no support by the owner/s. This facility also allows transients to sleep/live in their facilities - even though it's against the law, due to protecting their customers belongings. I am so disappointed with the lack of support this facility is willing to give, when I entrusted them with my personal belongings and the countless memories I will never get back. The decision to store my belongings was not easy but was a necessity, due to a transitional period of moving homes - it is by far my BIGGEST mistake by entrusting that my monthly dues, to Public Storage, would keep my belongings safe - instead I received disappointment and an empty storage facility. THEY DO NOT COOPERATE with the police department!!!!!!! Something is up with this place! I only wish my brother saw these reviews before he did business here!!!!! Units and property is clean and maintained. However, the gate hours are inconvenient. You have to be out the gate by 6 PM which is very early considering most public storage locations gates are open until 9 PM. My guess is that they close early due to the bad area and no security or on site managers. There are homeless people hanging out in the front of the building. Customer service is horrible!!! The showed us one unit and stated that it was a 10x10. We signed a contract for the 10x10 price and moved in my daughter's furniture right before she left to work out of state. A few days later, we get a call from PS office telling us they are raising the price by $30 for the unit since they mistakenly gave us a 10x15 storage for the 10x10 price. When we don't agree on the new price, they tell us we need to move our stuff to a smaller unit somewhere else across the property. After more than a month of trying to get a hold a district manager to honor the original contract, we finally get a hold of regional manager Bill who tells us they just can't adjust the price so we can stay in our unit. Bottom line-give us more $ or move your things out w/you absorbing the cost & time. Now I have to hire movers to move us out of this unit. What's the point of the contract if you are going to bait & switch units on customers by changing the terms of the agreement after the fact? Oh yeah, the point is GREED and No ACCOUNTABILITY for PS's mistake. Shame on Public Storage! Don't go to this location. read more

Clean, cool, and the office staff is friendly. No weird people coming and going, no trash sitting around, and the buildings are always pretty cool for the most part. I deducted a star because we started with one price and roughly 3 months later it went up $30-40 without notice and when I called to ask why, I left a voicemail and never received a callback. Though I sort of gathered why on my own by doing some research to other storage facilities in the area, it would have been nice to hear it straight from the source. So, warning, your bill WILL go up. Used the online process to reserve our climatized unit. Public Storage has made a website that is very easy to use. When we arrived at the facility to see the unit in person and get a feel for the site, we were very impressed. It was not only clean but the onsite employee (Francine) was extremely helpful. I was a little disappointed that you could not sign a contract for a specific amount of time. We are doing a remodel and was hoping to lock in a price. Hopefully we won't experience to many price increases. Time will tell. read more
