Rats infested my storage unit with feces, urine and bit through my furniture. Kevin the manager, knew about the rat infestation and told me to file a claim to get reimbursement for the damages. I filed the claim back in July and it's been 3 months with no updates. Poor service and communication. read more

It seems as though everytime I want a dolly, The main office is closed with a sign saying that they will be right back. 10 to 15 minutes later they still aren't back. I want to drop off my storage, not camped out in the parking lot waiting for somebody for who knows how long. At least higher two people, want to stay in the front office to serve your patrons, and the other one to show people to their storage. read more

When I need storage, I always use this place. Easily accessible with convenient storage hours. They charge you a Renters insurance fee every month, but if you have Homeowners ins, that would remove their Renter insurance fee from your monthly payment. read more

They have the worst access hours and don't think about getting to your stuff if there is any hint of a holiday its closed. After work need to get something no it closed. This is the worst place you can get for storage. They sing me a contract for 3 months. I asked a permission to move out my stuff couple days after my due date due to the holidays, they also told me that I could pay the days instead of the whole month. Although they remove out of my bank account almost twice the amount of money than what I would normally pay per month. I left the Manager almost 5 messages and never answer back, when I finally got a hold of him. He respond to me rather rude and disrespectful, he didn't fixed anything nor give reasons as to why they took my money. The employees give inaccurate information and they don't fixe their mistakes. So if thinking of this place, please don't choose it because they have the worst customer service that I have personally seen in my life. I haven't used a storage facility in over 10 years so I was a little out of my league when I found how MUCH prices had gone up! After researching other places Kevin gave me the best bang for my buck! He showed us around to two different unit sizes. From day one he was kind and helpful! He remembered both mine and my daughter's name days later when we returned to sign a contract. "It's a K thing" he said! LOL Anywho, we reserved the truck the day before with another guy over the phone and Kevin was there ready and waiting for us @8am the next day! Even when I got the answering service everyone has been very nice! Maybe Instorage, Stanton got a customer service overhaul bc some of the older reviews do not even come close to our family's experience so far! From the people to the prices to the facility all have been superb! Thanks again Kevin! I hope u get a commendation or some kind of kudos bc u were what we needed right now. NO Hassle! I decided to use in storage after meeting with Jacob (I believe that was his name). He was super helpful and really nice (2 stars are for you!) I wasn't sure which size unit I wanted, but assured him I would call him by the end of the week to confirm. He said this was okay and allowed me to "reserve" the rental truck even though I hadn't yet reserved the actual unit. I even offered to put down the $100 deposit on the spot to ensure I would be able to use the truck on the day I needed. Fast forward to the end of the week, I called to officially reserve my unit. The guy who answered (I couldn't understand him or his name) was incredibly rude. He told me I couldn't reserve over the phone and that I would have to come in person. He also said I couldn't reserve the truck unless I officially had a unit. I told him I wasn't able to get there that day and he responded by saying "ok, but someone else can get the truck on the day you want it is you don't come in person" I can understand this from a business standpoint, but I was told by Jacob that it would be okay. He then told me "well I don't know you- I've never seen you." I don't know what "seeing me" has to do with anything, but the way he said it was totally rude. When I first rented a unit from this place, they were friendly, helpful and the price was about average to other places, that was a few years ago. Now this place is very expensive and the guy that works there is rude! Also if you value your belongings don't rent here they have a cleaner that's supposed to clean the facility, and instead of cleaning, with his sweeper vehicle he pushes all the dust towards the units so what you get is this horrible dusty unit and within some time that dust builds up all over your stuff!!! Upon move out I'm having to take extra time to dust off everything, not cool!!! read more

We originally made a reservation with Instorage's neighbor to store a few suitcases for our kid. When we arrived at that neighbor storage business, the front desk refused us service because it was 15 minutes to their closing time. We drove down and found Instorage Stanton nearby; their front desk let us store immediately with a reasonable price. They were very helpfully for both check in and check out. Their store room was also very nice with good security. read more

DO NOT RENT HERE!! very poor customer service, apparently you may only use their moving truck within 2 weeks of your move in date....which I don't remember that being explained.... also when we did move in the truck was already booked but anyways that's just me complaining. apparently a company such as this does not care to lose customers they must have an abundance of customers and a long waiting list that they just don't care or need the money and that they are willing to lose customers to other storage companies but my opinion is do not rent here terrible customer service. read more

This used to be the best storage place around. It is now officially the worst. I used to use them like 10 years ago and the prices were great and everyone was phenomenal. Now they just jerk around your credit card number and charge late fees almost at will for any reason they see fit. Then they claim they didn't have any way to notify you. Apparently it must be Under New Management because they are just awful. Not to mention the smell of the city dump next door is just awful year round. I pulled all of my stuff out. . read more
