Brandon is absolutely helpful and was very helpful with working with us when I rented the spot last minute. He was very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend this place. this place used to have a livein manager but no more. they have a software problem and some people cannot make payments online. the temp help is always cheerful and quite pleasent. if you forget your keys they charge you 35 bucks to have it drilled out. read more

This company is great! I said what I wanted, and they provided just that. I wasn't hounded with the upsale tactic like every other storage place, and I really respected and appreciated that. Also, the representative that was there very helpful. He asked what I'd be storing and advised a better unit to use instead if the one I'd reserved. He went out of his way to find me a unit closer to the door, and check promotions to see how he could help me save money! That was big for me, and pretty much made the sale for me. Thank you Leo! We have stored at Small Space Storage for over 6 years and usually pay 4 months in advance. Lately they have changed to on line billing. As it turns out this is also when Fronteir is causing chaos on the lines and we did not received the email. This bill has previously been sent out as mail. Since we were 8 days late my husband went to find that he was locked out of the storage. We feel that the manager Rooney has no concept of business and a phone call would of been nice after all the prepays if he was so concerned. He was so concerned about getting his late fee of $20.00 is why my husband was locked out of the unit. I have just found out that the owner of this property is not in the country and the help will not provide an address the reach the owner I would also like to tell the owner that Rooney does not attend to his business at the unit. Upon receiving a letter that we had to purchase a new lock from them with in a 5 days period I showed up to do that 4 times in one day. Do you think that Rooney was ever there? Not a chance. I had the same luck two days later. The units are supposed to be available at 7am and whoever is responsible for opening the yard is late. My husband has sat outside in truck waiting and waiting for someone to show up at 7am. Maybe Rooney should pay for his lateness. We again are having problems and being harassed for absolutely no reason. Rooney seems to be trying to pin a second unpaid unit on us. We have never had more that one unit and it has always been the same unit. He has insistently emailed me at least 8 times.. Out rent is always well paid for in advanced. I can't figure out this guys problems. He is probably someone's relative sent in to destroy the business by harassing people for no reason. read more

I love this place! The prices at Small Space Storage are the best that I've found for miles around. The place is always kept clean and it seems perfectly safe. It's a funky old place that uses lifts instead of elevators, which are more fun and different than an inconvenience. There is no more need to complain about the short business hours since they have been extended. The place is open until 6:00 Monday through Saturday and until 5:00 on Sundays. The best and the most important part is the people who work at Small Space Storage. They are the kindest and most thoughtful you will ever meet. For me, that makes all the difference, and as long as they are there, I'll be there. read more

Just moved out of here to save some money. No other complaints except they are getting expensive and are not accessible on Sundays! ( I found out the hard way when I had someone to help me pick up my stuff and we couldn't get in. Waste of my time. The weekend: That's when many people need them to be open!!! The fifth star is for Leo, the manager of this storage facility. The price is the best I could find. The facility is easy and clean, but Leo sold me on this place. He was very helpful, kind, easy, and I'd guess he has a tough time ever being dishonest. I will definitely suggest this place to others. read more

Amazing management considering that owners had to hire new company to provide tools that manager has needed for two years. Owners are problem here;not management of location. Give Eileen tools she needs and a little training(less than fee) going to management company. The whole draw to this location was cassetta family. Publi storage just two blocks away!! I finally said good-bye to Small Space, and am glad I did. My new place is much more secure, with lots of cameras and a live on premise manager. SS cameras are a lot for show and they now longer have a 24 presence. Shortly before I left I was asked they closed early due to a break-in investigation. My new place hasn't leaked rain, the way SS did. My new place doesn't use a leaf blower which blows dirt into units and coats your stuff in grime. With better discounts, my new place is even cheaper. You were good, Small Space, but these last years have seen price increases with a lowering of product quality. Glad I moved out. read more

From the beginning I was always comfortable with the way I was treated! Not only was the staff patient with me [(I have a little ocd, I don't move very fast, I ask the same questions over and over amongst other things; lol! :)] but they never had a problem lending a hand and going the extra mile to keep things in tip top shape, running smoothly, and keeping everything clean. Just wanted to express my gratitude bcoz ther are some horror stories wen it comes to finding the right place to make sure your belongings are kept safe....& so far I'm in the clear bcoz of you! This place is smaller and tucked into a small commercial cul-de-sac. Rent is very reasonable for the space. The lifts to get your stuff upstairs are older looking, but work just fine. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is they are not open on Sunday... When someone works M-F, it's sometimes hard to get everything u need moved in one day, Saturday. Maybe even an "on call" option could be nice. Especially if the manager lives on the property... other than that it's been great! read more

Clean facility but closed on Sundays & owner closes gate about 10 mins before closing time. Website states ***24 hour access*** but there isn't access to your storage unit 24 hours a day. Access closes at 7pm Monday through Friday and 5pm on Saturday. Very inconvenient. read more

Very nice staff. Hours are not what are stated online. Closed at 4:00 on Saturday, not 4:30. Caused us to have to deal with 2 truckloads of boxes...until Monday since closed on Sunday. Lift and halls also congested. It is basically a one person move in/out conveniently. No lights in units, unless drive ups. It is saving me a significant amount of $ during their 6 mo promo offer so I will deal with the major inconvenience...until promo is up. read more
