I find the reviews here to be confusing because they are mixing reviews for storage units with reviews for the TV/boat storage lot. We have been storing our travel trailer here for a year now. We find the place to be well managed, clean, and secure. We have also found the manager to be helpful, but she runs a tight ship; and I appreciate that. I do wish the hours of access were broader, sometimes we'd like to pick up or drop off outside the 8-6 window. We were given only 1 gate card, would be nice if both spouses could have one. Spaces aren't wide enough to open any slides, but wide enough to manage backing a trailer with a pickup. Site is level. There is a dump station on site, but new haven't needed to use it yet since we always dump before hitting the road. We are very glad to have a spot here. read more

Let me start by saying I've been a long time customer of this facility. My experienced yesterday was horrific! It started a few weeks ago when I visited my trailer saw the MESS that was being allowed to be stored next to my $50k trailer. It looked like Sanford and Sons moved in beside me. I spoke with the manager about it and told him that I was concerned on multiple levels. 1. The materials were within inches of my trailer and could fall or be moved and damage my trailer. 2. With the way they were stored I would not be able to get my trailer out of my spot. 3. They had a traffic cone pushed against my $500 cover and the wind was causing it to be rubbed by the cone and damaging my cover. There was also a vehicle parked on the other side of my trailer, no where near inside and sort of spot, that would block me from getting my trailer out as well. The manager stated that Sanford and Sons would be evicted and the car would be moved. I returned 3 weeks later, and the vehicle was moved, but Sanford and Sons still remained. I spoke to the manager again and told him I would be coming to get my trailer in a couple days. When I returned to get my trailer a couple days later, the junk was still there preventing me from being able to pull my trailer out. When I asked the attendant who would be moving the junk so I could get my trailer out, he stated he would have to page someone. Didn't know how long it would take for them to get there. I was absolutely furious! I ended up having to move a stack of old tires, plywood, and a bunch of scrap metal. Scratching my legs in the process. This is such bad customer service and monitoring the activity inside the facility and what is being stored there I can't believe it. I hope the owner reads this. I hope the owner does something to fix this. Both getting rid of Sanford and Sons and making it right for me. I pay a lot of money to store my trailer at this location. I've been a paying customer for a long time. One that follows the rules. And I have to move a junk pile in order to pull my trailer out? Why should I ever have to do this? I am beyond frustrated and mad and fully expect a response and some sort of restitution for my trouble and time spent dealing with this. And.....the crap is still there!!!!! read more

This is my 2nd time using this storage facility and I have nothing but good things to say about it! A+!! The facility is clean, affordable, and run by a wonderful team, Manuel, Wanda, and David, who are all very friendly, helpful, and professional and all seem genuinely happy to work there and to do what they can to assist. Other positives: wknd hours are good, the place is secure, you can borrow a ladder or step stool as needed and you can buy your locks there. This place has the best variety of storage options I've seen, so even if I never move again... if I ever get a boat or a RV, I'll be sure to store it here!! read more

My brother and I have used this facility for both vehicle and furniture storage for the past three years. The management there is VERY friendly, helpful, and wiling to accommodate. One Manager in particular, Manuel, knows how to make any situation go smooth and uses the utmost professionalism mixed with a casual demeanor that can diffuse and relax the stress associated with moving. I was helping my girlfriend put her things into storage, she told me how nice and polite one employee had been to her. When we arrived it was close to closing time and a different employee came out and was rude, pushy, intimidating, I thought oh well we all have bad days! The next visit the same man came out and his first words were " you have 2 minutes and I'm closing doors!" We actually had almost 10 minutes to put a hand full of things in. He hung around himming and hawing and was rude again! It's understandable to want to go home and the hours there SUCK "9-6 hours most people work" but you don't have to be an ass to the customers, if you want to bitch about 1-2 minutes go work at the DMV! read more

Good management, wide spaces, wide transit lanes, awesome dump station, a lot going for this place. And the rates are very reasonable. We were paying almost $200 at our previous storage for our 31 ft. RV, and here the cost is $140 a month. You also have to sign in every time you arrive which helps them manage their lot. read more

Nice people very good prices and just easy to get in and out being as outdoor storage grounds. You have access 7 days a week 8am to 6pm. I like this place and it cost about 200.00 per month to store a 28 foot freightliner truck. read more

Referred by friends, I found out all of my neighbors who store RVs, cars and furniture, etc., use Don Temple Storage and for a reason: the rates are reasonable, and the facility is clean and secure and it is easy to get to the spaces. I needed storage space while remodeling, and Don Temple Staff did an excellent job of helping me with find the correct size (which I underestimated) when one did open up. They have a way shred documents, and also you can buy locks there or bring your own. Don Temple has a maintenance man on staff if you have other issues which arise and need to borrow a hammer or ladder or rolling cart. There are a variety of storage space sizes, and that was helpful, as I needed to move once to a larger space, then to a smaller one! They bolt and lock the high gate to the facilities at night. They do close up at 6 PM, but if you call with notice, sometimes they are able to stay. Regarding billing, are very helpful with any needs or questions about the process of move in and move out. I did not have any issues at all when I was done. I had a need to store a vehicle there, temporarily. Manuel and David were so helpful with finding solutions, and recommendations on my needs. This is a very well run business, who CARES about your things! Manuel, Dave, Wanda, (and Donna) are so nice and polite. I highly recommend. and would give 10 stars if possible. read more

I was in need of storing a Penske truck for a few days before heading to Atlanta. I live Downtown Long Beach and was unsuccessful in finding a place to store the 16 foot truck that had the proper height clearance, safe enough, or that would not charge a monthly fee in the surrounding area. However, I found the number to a facility that led me to Mannie, who told me he would take care of me for those few days and not to worry. He asked me to call the next day to speak with either him or Wanda to confirm me dropping off the vehicle and to confirm location. Once I got there, the location was nice and organized. It was in a great area. Mannie is amazing, kind, upbeat, and professional. He is also a man of his word. I personally believe he is a Man of God! He is fair and honest. His counterpart, Wanda, is wonderful as well. I definitely would go back to him in a heartbeat and recommend everyone who has a vehicle that needs storage to go to him. Great prices! I'm not sure why they have such a high rating. I've been with Don Temple Storage for over 2 years and they are con artists. It all starts from the top. The owner is directly responsible and manages this place with the intentions of ripping you off as much as he can. I had to fight the owner even when I'm exiting the place. I advise them that I'm leaving and that I only need to be here until the 15th which is half of the month. I notified them in person a week before the new month started. And i asked them to take me off automatic payments. They still charged me for the whole month on automatic payment. When I came back to resolve the issue. Don Temple the owner was on the phone with his manager The owner instructed the manager to reverse the charge after the 10th and they charge me only half the storage rent PLUS late charges. This is outright cheating the customer for more money. The manager explained to me even though I notified them on time, they can't reverse the charges without charging me a late fee due to the system. What??? Basically, they are saying you did everything right according to the contract, but they will still penalize me due to the computer system restraint. That is a bunch of baloney. This is the sorriest excuse that they can come up with? Beware of their shady ways. It left me a sour taste in my mouth. So I Needed Storage Again When I Moved Last Year May 2013. I Moved In The Same Area So Went Right Back Here. It's Coming Up On A Year Here Again Now And Will Be getting Everything Out Next Month, But Another Smooth Hassle Free Year Here At This Place, Nice Office Guys, Usually Many There 99% Of The Time. Easy And Hassle Free, Good Place To Use For Storage Long Or Short Term, Clean,Well Maintained Other Than Some Junk Cars Stored Here. I UsuallY Drop My Payment Off In Person Each Month But Was Ill And Bedridden For A Few Months So I Mailed In My Pymts For A Few Months Worth And Had No Issues At All, Everything Was Posted. I Tried To Sign Up To PAy Online But Needed Some Code Or Something And Couldn' T Get That Figured Out So I Hope They Do Something To Smooth That Out.
